"He skated through the system, and for a good part of his sentence, seven years, he ended up in the William Head Institution. Basically that's a minimum security institution, one fence with an open gate. He had his own apartment. It's scandalous to know that he spent seven years there basically because my mom was robbed by the justice system."

Did he ever say what his motive was for killing his friend's mother? I think that he should spend double the amount of time in prison for letting his friend take the rap for it.

Can you imagine the devastation of a 19-year-old boy finding his mother murdered and then being charged and wrongly convicted for her murder? What a nightmare.

If it hadn't been for the DNA evidence, his friend would have just let him take the rap for his own mother's murder having everyone to believe that he murdered her. How absolutely disgusting.
