Found Deceased NAMUS Missing persons still listed after being found

Recently I've started tracking and researching cases on NAMUS and assumed that the site is kept well maintained. However out of the 19 recent cases I am tracking, I have read reports that the following 2 females have been found deceased although their NAMUS cases are still up:
~Tammy Harris
~Sharon West
Is it up to Law Enforcement to close a case on the site? Sharon's body was apparently found in 2 months ago.
