So, the other things above may not be significant or worth responding to. But, I do wonder if anyone else thought someone was present during the 911 call. Just me?

I think there was someone else with her. Didn't Jessica check with that someone on a couple of things ?

This is a global company
They would not set precedent by allowing an extended paid leave just because an employee's spouse died.

HR departments in large companies are very concerned about setting a precedent. What happens when they don't allow Susie "Paid leave" when her husband is killed ?

Which Susie are we talking about?

Well,...........I've been out of the corporate world for a number of years and I know things are NOT what they used to be.

But, still, I would think that a 'murder' would be a little bit more urgent than a 'death.' So I would expect them to go just that added mile.

Maybe not?

Hi

I'm new to posting but have been reading here for a couple of years and have followed every word of this case both here and all the news links from the beginning. I finally decided to post.

I was wondering the very same thing about the dogs. It seems they got right on the case immediately, the media became involved stat, but the dogs were missing and that question hasn't been asked until now. Glad you asked and hope we get lots of replies.

Welcome Deduction !

I agree, the dog thing is big.

If a jogger went missing, where was the dog to trace her scent from the house ?
That would be to find a missing person as well as to tell the cops maybe she really never went jogging.

Where was the cadaver dog when they searched his house and Cars ?
Cary is right beside the state capital of Raleigh, it ain't Mayberry.
I sure hope these cops pulled all the stops in the initial investigation.

I don't remember that. In JA's affidavit it does state that she and Mary Anderson met the police at the Cooper's home following the 911 call.

I also thought there was someone in the background kind of coaching her ... I think it was the other friend who was also "hysterical" thinking that Brad might have done something.

I could hear someone in the background and I thought that she even mentioned someone else's name and said something about them 'freaking out.' Not exactly those words, but in line with that.

I could be wrong though.

I thought it was Mary Anderson or her husband.

I sure did miss something and I thought I had read every post every day. When did he walk from the coffee shop to home. Was his car there?

  • #196
What do you mean it's not there anymore?

  • #197
Regarding the dogs. I believe MM in his affadavit mentioned
that BC was wondering where the dogs were.

Thanks again Bob&Bob

Unfortunately, the video isn't there anymore.

It is, I'm watching it now.

Edited to add that Clea says that she had spoken to Carrie/Carey and they (Nancy & Carrie) DID NOT have plans to run that morning.

Well that's a relief.

I wonder if something is wrong with fran's thing?

No wh, that was a hypothetical based on a posters idea maybe he was going to leave her car at a coffee shop.
