I guess that would depend on whether or not the killer is charged with first or second degree murder. It might too hinge on COD? Not sure on those, just guessing.

Ya know, I don't think so, if the intent to kill was not there. And I don't believe it was.

Some people really do believe he had this planned, just not the exact time he would do it. The list NC found, changing his mind for NC not to move right away to Canada, the possibility the vehicle has changed title ownership, the huge bonus that has mentioned.

I just don't know because he would have gone to Regency I really do believe to dump her if he had planned it.

IMO this could be what the DA is looking for..enough to show it was premeditated so he can go for 1st degree and why he is taking his time to charge BC.

i think i missed something w LTF---how will that seal his fate?

I think you did...wow it is long to explain. But I'll try..don't think I forgot you just don't want to lose you on this.

Question on the warrants -- those were just the first ones, right? As in BC and attorneys have already seen them so they're mainly being kept from the media/public?[/IMG]

Related question: I wonder if the husband in the Young case (and/or his attorneys) already have previous access to all the information in the Young SW's released today?

If not, (and assuming he may be guilty), do you suppose the release of the warrants helped him, hurt him, or neither?

To me, if the husband didn't already have access to all of this info, the release of today's information only resulted in aiding his (potential future) defense.

Would be nice not to end up in a similar situation 2 weeks from now in the Cooper case.

I think RC put is best yesterday and the most simple....

I'll be bold enough to say he was at LTF to get his wife's card swiped to show someone else had to have seen her alive after he said she left the house at 7 am. It was one of those stink days you know?

sunflowers...this is what sealed his fate. The HT trip was bad enough, but this put it over the edge IMO

"Premeditation" is something that can take place literally a couple seconds before one person kills another. It means the person knows they are about to or are in the process of 'killing' another, and at that very moment, they intend to do it.

Much different than "preplanning" which isn't really a legal concept per se, but can be used to help show premeditation. Like that list he created -- could be inferred to be part of a murder plan.

Jess...are you shaking your head again and needing to be picked up? See you come around and a bombshell hits.
That was you the last time wasn't it when I told of JA new condo?

Jason Young has a copy of all the warrants released today - he has had them since they were executed in February of this year. One was served on his Mother's house and surely she shared it with him since he lives with her. Another was served on his younger sister - no doubt it has also been passed around amongst the family since Jason use to live with her right after the murder. I also know for a fact the warrants were shared with family friends - the little blabber mouth has been exercising his freedom of speech since the begining of this case and still is making excuses for JY.

From following the Young case - the warrants did not hurt him anymore than what was already known IMO - the warrants only revealed more evidence of what happened and how and how much evidence LE does have. The information does not make him more or less guilty looking than before the release of the warrants IMO.

I have a different view on warrants and keeping them secret. I believe it does more harm to seal them than it does to publish them if a suspect is in LE's head. The simple truth - we are setting here talking out our backsides and generating rumor after rumor, in reality. The truth can't hurt any worse can it ? In cases where an investigation could be jeopardized I say seal it , in a case where an informat could be exposed I say seal it.

Right now - if Brad Cooper is not their suspect - he has paid a high price because of secracy. If he is their suspect - he still has paid a high price - what is the difference - truth versus secrets thats all.

was his wife's card swiped at LTF? if it was or if that was his intent, he totally lost his mind & i agree that there's no way that he can wiggle out of the HT or LTF activities. surveillance will show it's him. RC is probably right here. BC NEVER dreamed that JA could initiate calling LE & a search that afternoon. he thought he had a couple of days---and then could prove that she had been at LTF on Sat afternoon, thus, they all had seen her.

thanks for explaining. somehow i missed that part of the discussion....

OT, but you know that BC's mom & JY's family members & family friends remind me of each other. The family members are totally disrespectful toward the wives, incomprehensibly mean & nasty, & remarkably immature in their communication & hostility. No wonder JY & BC appear to be evil & lacking commonality with the human race.

Thanks RC....that was a great explaination and easy to understand. Are you sure you don't have a wall of 'law books' lined up on a wall behind you.:)

What else is a Bubba the serial killer presiding on death row to do for 23 hours a day other than read in an attempt to circumvent the justice system while trying to save their sorry butttttt

SF...I asked, but not answered. I understand he asked for it to be done and with some the song & dance why he needed it done. I really didn't need to hear anymore since I already had the details on HT. I was up all night vomitxxx, I was so sick over it.

The affidavits..if you read them again you will see he never told JA the time NC left to go jogging. When JA called BC approx @ 11, he told her NC was jogging and was about an hour late coming in. He tried to setup an alibi on Saturday, and 1pm wouldn't be out of of a reasonable time frame if it had worked.

IMO the snag BC had was the LE was waiting for him when he got home. Where was NC LTF card?

This is why I believe BC is guilty, as guilty gets!

The affidavits..if you read them again you will see he never told JA the time NC left to go jogging. When JA called BC approx @ 11, he told her NC was running about an hour late. He tried to setup an alibi desperately on Saturday, and 1pm wouldn't be out of of a reasonable time frame.

Now everyone on WS will know why I believe BC is guilty as guilty gets!

I hope his Mama reads this and turns around and slaps the sn*t out of him and then heads back to Canada.

His actions at LTF, if as exactly as described in Mom's posts, are strange enough and can be verified by a witness---the desk clerk who was the one he spoke to. If he did try to get the wife's card swiped and did do some song 'n dance, then surely this will have stood out in the front desk clerk's mind cause it's not an everyday occurrence. Combine that with any video taken of the front desk area when he went in...plus any other witnesses there who may have seen him (but of course did not see Nancy as she was never there that day). It's right up there with something Scott Peterson would do, thinking he was being clever, and only backfired on him.

I believe this LTF maneuver will likely be seen the same way: super hinky!

Star...she needs to have it slapped out of her too, for the way she treated NC.
To see the mailbox bow gone really has upset me, as well as wondering who did it. There is no remorse for NC at all with the Coopers, IMO.

Where is the obituary? BC didn't have to attend anything public to do place that in the paper.

I realized how cold hearted BC really was when he stated he told Bella just before the service about NC. A parent is suppose to be there in time of need for their children, support them and help them thru a trying time.

His day is coming and I will have the rice ready.

And now we know what you DID to end up as "Bubba on death row"--an INNOCENT microwave was the victim of attempted murder and a chinese food container was bludgeoned and electocuted! :behindbar

LE, I hope you are reading all of ^^^^^^^^^^^^^.

I'm feeling sorry for BC right now. Not the poor "lil feller" kind, but the pitying, pathetic human being kind. How incredibly, loathsomely, low. Makes me wanna rinse out my eyes, from what I have read.

Now you can come up with some hilarious statements...I needed that!

Are your white flowers for NC?

I found this bear who is patiently waiting on justice for NC. I felt she must like bears since she wanted a painting of a bear in the seperation agreement.

Glad to brighten things just a bit around here...you've probably noticed I can get a little punchy/silly/sarcastic from time-to-time. That in no way should ever be construed for not feeling horrible about NC's murder nor wanting justice!

Regarding the flowers avatar: actually I've been using that avatar before the NC case (elsewhere, not just on WS). But if it works as a show of support for NC and her family then I'm happy for it to do double-duty!
