But WS was the board to break the news of the store visit thanks to Momto3kids! :clap:Yes, that board is interesting. They seem to have the low-down.

My husband is frequently called upon to be an expert witness in court trials, sometimes for the plaintiff and sometimes for the defendant. No matter what side he is requested by, I always discuss the case with him and argue against his opinions (Partly to be annoying, and partly to prepare him for what the opposing attorney might question him on). So, I thought I would do the same here and play devil's advocate since EVERYONE seems to have tried, convicted and placed on death row the prime suspect in this case.
Other possible suspects:
1. The hard to find Carrie, the supposed running partner, both the friend who reported Nancy missing and Brad said that they knew of her but not much about her, phone number, last name etc.
2. A current or former partner in one of Brad's alleged affairs.
3. IF Brad had affairs as alleged for a long period of time, that does not exclude the possibility of Nancy having one also. This would add the possibility of a man whom she had a relationship with, but had broken it off. AND/OR
4. The wife or ex-wife of someone that Nancy had possibly had an affair with.
5. A person within the running community who might have had a crush on Nancy and whom she had rejected.
6. Any person who had been involved in an affair with either Brad or Nancy and feared they would be publicly exposed during a divorce and custody battle.
Those are just a few of the possibilities I would argue, even though it looks pretty bad for Brad right now. However, I also find it hard to believe the rumor about the detergent with bleach. It seems unlikely that a teenage store employee would be randomly invited into the police viewing of the security tapes, and then allowed to go out and discuss that evidence with whomever they choose. Extremely questionable police work if this really happened, and all else points to LE being very cautious and responsible about letting information out on this case.
This would be the same woman who turned her in as missing to LE. The woman (Adams) who made that call knew something we are not privy to, imo. If she was the mistress, I don't see her calling.
You guys could be right. He may have wanted to further humiliate her by leaving her naked to be found or he may have undressed her because of his blood on her clothing.
Agreed...but I think she knows who the mistress is.
This type of thing has become common here in NC in the last few years. I can only hope the court system will start actually executing these animals to send a message that they won't get away with this.
Domestic abuse is not treated as seriously as it should be. I have a now ex-friend whose husband was abusing her. She actually called me in the middle of the night to tell me he had thrown her on the floor and tried to strangle her. I told her to call the police. They came..saw...went. Said they couldn't do anything, not even remove him from the house as it was his residence and he denied the allegations...wth?
I can't imagine that the Adams woman was the mistress at all
Welcome Reann!! I am sorry that the regular members have ignored your post and not welcomed you to the board. They have welcomed several menbers who are not bringing up sensible questions, but validating their existing opinions. I've been reading here for several days and really wish for a more balanced discussion as you are propossing. I would really hope at least that most of these posters would disqualify themselves from ever beging on a jury of any case they had ever heard anything about at all.
This is a great place to get news links and some info from locals though.
You brought up some great questions and I will try and discuss them later.
I have difficulty typing, and very slow.

I didn't respond because I don't like to argue for the sake of arguing, which is the impression I got in that post. They even stated they do it to their husband to be annoying and wanted to argue the points. I try to stay out of the way of mods whenever possible. They have enough to deal with as it is.
I actually did not ignore her post and I very much did welcome Raeann to WS. I have been gone all day and am now playing catch up through the last thread and this one. interesting....you're not the only one that thinks this either, Bee..another person here thinks she was probably unclothed....
I have to ask the members who follow cases like this closely....why would Brad lead the police to a shovel he found while he did a search on Monday?? My understanding is it was one left behind from some construction and not a key piece of evidence. This was a location I am sure was combed time and time again. Why would it just appear or not be seen sooner? At the time the person spoke to him they did not know it was Brad. A conversation took place and then Brad revealed who he was with a handshake. It has freaked this person out.
I do know Brad wore the same cap and shirt in the search he was wearing to the press conference, but was wearing shorts in the search and not long pants on Monday. As I posted before it was pouring and gave us all a chill. He complained to someone very close he was being eaten up and itching all over.
no doubt in my mind, NC.....LE is probably questioning this woman, as we type....(or have already)
gosh, i see visions of the "mystery woman" having a press conference now, ugh.....
