I think Jessica Adam knew something we don't about what was going on between Brad and Nancy's situation the night before. It is probably part of the reason she was alarmed when Nancy didn't call or show up the next day. Her first gut reaction was correct. (I do not suspect Jessica was in any way the person people are discussing as a possible mistress here.)

I don't either. As someone posted yesterday, why would she help her husband's mistress paint?

I agree girlfriends talk about problems with husbands all of the time. I bet she knew all of the happenings in that relationship and was probably very alarmed.

I wonder if Nancy confided in her friend that she was going to leave Brad. Giving the reasons why, and she was just worried about her friend and was just calling at different times to check in and offer support for a friend going through a rough time. I know I have done this for a friend that I was worried about.

I have wondered the same thing and thought it was very possible. For some reason on Greta last night Jessica Adams responded to Greta's question about if Nancy was afraid of Brad or of physical abuse with a resonnating NO. Not sure how to take that - had they talked and Nancy said NO or had the subject never been broached ? Dunno. But I do find it interesting that she, Jessica Adams, was the one to make the 911 call. I also find it interesting that she told Greta it was around 1 pm but all the articles I've seen report the 911 call as being at 2:51 pm. I still think this woman had some deep reason, which she did not share with Greta, for making that call.

If this mistress exists, can you imagine how she must sh*tting bricks? IMO, serves her right. You know her name will surface soon. We recently had a husband gun his wife down in a church parking lot. His wife had just returned from vacation and learned that the mistress had spent the entire time in her home. She asked for a divorce, kicked her husband out, then he gunned her down. Can you believe this mistress has the gaul to show up at court hearings and is now engaged to this yahoo?

I just saw the new added pics.
God Bless them all. They are so close and loving.

I heard it was a party with a group of friends. I have never read it was a block party. Wonder where that came from? I have seen the party referred to a block party on this board, just not in print or being said on TV.
I have heard it referred to as a "block party" a few times on the national news shows. It sounded more like a "dinner party" type to me tho. (Remember what type of neighborhood she lived in! It wouldn't be your typical block party!)

I would have to think that as her very best friend, Jessica would call whenever with no problem. I think the late evening call was probably to talk about the plans for the next day and maybe just to check to see how Nancy was doing. Nancy was feeling "rough" at the party. (I think due to stress and maybe she had told Brad she was leaving either before the party or knew she wanted to discuss it afterwards.)

Oh I am sure you are right she must be sh*tting bricks. I wonder if this friend is married too and does her husband know about the affair? Or is he about to find out about it when her photo is plastered all over the news?

As we wait for the presser, I thought that I might throw another of my patented wet blankets.

1) I do a lot of my family's laundry and if I were to ever tell my wife that it's her job, I'd be read the riot act and it'd throw one heck of a damper into our relationship. I also bought Tide last night, when I went to the store.

2) One time we left my daughter at home with a nighttime babysitter and once we took both kids to a friend's (at night) because both my wife and I had a meeting. The daughter was alright, but my young son cried the whole time. It's for this reason that if there's ever any "grown-up" gatherings, one or the other of us go to represent the family and the other stays home with the kids.

I wonder about that too. You know, my previous post made me think of something. I wonder if Nancy came home from her vacation and learned of some goings on while she was gone?
