Is there a reason we need to post personal information about her best friend here?! She was the one who stood by Nancy and did the absolute right thing! I beg you to remove that post, please!

I agree with you...that post needs to be taken down right away.

I hope I'm doing this correctly. This is from the photo gallery from N&O. Picture numbered 32. The caption says she was found in front of the fencing. I was under the impression she was closer to the pond but apparently not.

Sorry SuzieQ - I see you noticed the same thing as me LOL. Sorry for double posting about it.

Blink, the petition for the custody of the children do cite an affair as being part of the cause. So this is fact now.

I agree we don't need to speculate and post information about her current friends here tho. Obviously, Nancy knew of the affair and would NOT be associating herself with the woman. It is very safe to say that not one of her current friends would be Brad's mistress.

I agree he was/is having one, I am just trying to play fair when we are reviewing articles without any quotes or references, I am concerned about the friends who are actually that. Secondly that article did not reference the origin of that post which miffed me :furious:

If you look at Picture 32 at the below link, it states that Nancy was found in front of the fence. (not in the pond) I bet in the dark Brad was shocked to find a fence in his way of the pond and left her there.

I saw that earlier, but which "front" of the fence did the reporter mean? I took it to mean she was actually inside near the pond where they photographed them searching the area. There is a walkway to the pond that is not fenced off in the photos (unless LE took it down to search).

all of you who have quoted the post with the friend's address should edit your posts, too.

lol, I just posted that too. And if you look at pic 33, you can't really tell from the road a fence was there. I bet Brad was shocked when he found a fence in the way of reaching the pond.

One thing that troubles me...is the thought that Brad really had until 1pm (when friend called police), to cover, dispose of, or clean up any evidence. Even with the kids present, he could still be working all day to cover his tracks. I still think that LE will have enough evidence, but the thought of him getting away with this, makes me cringe. In the photos, the BMW looked like it was fresh out of the car wash. He could have even taken the kids with him before the friend called police to drive through a local car wash. I know my kids love going through the car wash! My point...in between taking care of the kids, he had a lot of unsupervised time to get rid of evidence.

If her remains weren't found, I might agree with you, in this case I am personally confident an arrest will be made and a successful prosecution will prevail.

Not trying to condone posting this info, but all Wake County real estate ownership is public record and easily accessible on-line. Not sure the need for this to be posted here but it's not private, personal info.

I think we are all aware it is public info, but posting it in a public domain is not- necessarily. There is a difference between posting it and looking it up yourself, especially because I for one did not understand it's relevance.

I think Jessica Adam knew something we don't about what was going on between Brad and Nancy's situation the night before. It is probably part of the reason she was alarmed when Nancy didn't call or show up the next day. Her first gut reaction was correct. (I do not suspect Jessica was in any way the person people are discussing as a possible mistress here.)
Didn't Jessica say that Nancy and she talked while she was at the cocktail party at around 10 or so p.m. the night before she went missing. I bet that Nancy called Jessica quite often. When Jessica hadn't heard from Nancy the next morning, she got worried and called the house (probably after she didn't get an answer on her cell phone).

Brad's former roommate posted a comment about Brad. He said that he was very narcissistic and that several of the individuals who knew him better than he knew him couldn't or wouldn't totally discount that Brad was capable of murder.

I think that most people probably had a gut feeling about Brad or just felt uncomfortable around him and didn't like him. I know that I wouldn't like him much, just by the comments that he left on his blog. He is a Lance Armstrong wannabe, IMO.

It doesn't surprise me in the least that he would let the two girls go live with Nancy's relatives. Brad is training for an upcoming triathlon. He doesn't have time to be with his girls, even after the murder of their mother. This guy, IMO, is a piece of work. I hope that they are able to nail him quicker than they are getting to Jason Young, who I am sure is watching this case with interest.

I also want to add that I can see Brad seething at home while he is the designated babysitter while Nancy is out socializing at a cocktail party. Nancy seems like she was the one that always took care of the children. Brad doesn't come across as a doting Dad. His blogs sound like he is single.

In the Gary Hilton case, a person not directly related to any murder had their info posted on WS and they complained. The mods did not take kindly to this and pointed out that because info is out there and it is public does not mean that it should be posted. And we were told to never do that again.

She should do the decent thing and be talking to her husband (if she has one) before this breaks wide open in the national media.

If there were another person involved in the murder, I think we would already know about search warrants being issued and LE converging on the person. I don't anticipate more than one arrest here.

Yes, you would think, but I think if we sat around waiting for most to do the right thing in this situation we would be eating alot of donuts.

It's quite alright. Sometimes threads move to fast it takes a double post to get noticed. lol.

wufdude: A Google search would not include information from the county database, but it would come up in their archive of this forum.

 I think this thread is being heavily searched and reviewed, and I would like to keep the emphasis on the postive work being done here, as I am sure we all do, Let's assume it will be taken care of, thanks Suz (your my go to-gal on rules as usual:blowkiss:)

Brad had a few days to clean up. The car freshly washed would also be a red flag.
Who would think about washing their car, when their wife is missing?
We haven't seen the second car, only the SUV. I"m thinking it's a flashy BMW convertible.
IMO

Wasn't there a question that BC was staying at their house? I'm sorry, I must have misunderstood a few postings about where BC is staying. I removed and I'm sorry.

In the complaint, Rentz and Lister allege that Bradley Cooper had been having an affair and that in the months leading up to Nancy's death, he'd been yelling at Nancy and belittling her in front of the children.
~snip~

In the complaint, Rentz and Lister say that in a few months ago Bradley Cooper had removed the children's passports from Nancy Cooper's vehicle, essentially prohibiting her from moving to Canada with the children.

They also claim Bradley Cooper was withholding money from his wife, and Nancy Cooper had to borrow money from her family to buy groceries for her and the girls.

~snip~

The judge also ordered Bradley Cooper to turn over the passports of Isabella, 4, and Gabriella, almost 2, so they might attend their mother's funeral in Canada. Later this month, a judge will consider a request for Rentz and Lister to care for the children more permanently.

~snip~

Rentz and Lister said in the custody complaint that Bradley Cooper had been having an affair with another woman. They also say that Bradley Cooper threatened suicide earlier this year and had tried to kill himself as a teenager.

I assume they have seen the petition to be able to state these things in the manner they did.
