Yes.....& the When she moves Caylee she takes one or two of the Pavers to weight Caylee down.

George then Notices the disturbance & the missing Pavers in the yard & replaces them on July 4th
Why would he need to replace them? They were piled all over the place and nobody was counting.

I would be to scared to sit on that stand and lie. I would be afraid I would be arrested and put into jail. But apparently she doesn't care who she lies to or what she lies about. I guess we know how her daughter learned to be such a prolific liar.

You sound like a normal person to me. No one in this family appears to be normal.

MOO

I am glad in a way that the media isn't going after CA's parents and brothers etc. They truly are victims. I would have liked to heard more from Rick tho. He did have some background information which I found to be interesting and has been proven accurate, too.

ITA..Rick provided a lot of information that was definitely true..I wish he would come back.

Housemouse - They took the shovel so certainly, if it had contact with the pavers somehow, it will come out. We just don't know yet. :)
I believe they were testing the dirt on the shovel. Nothing has come out meaning one of two things - there was nothing, or they are keeping it under wraps.

If they were piled all over the place why would Casey need to pry one up with a shovel?

Um. I don't know. Maybe 12 cubic meters of enclosed space vs. several hundred meters of open air??? Maybe not jnTexas. Maybe not. After oh-about 40 days...maybe only trained dogs would smell it?

I agree with after 40 days. I'm just wondering if the A's smelled anything out of the ordinary on a certain day after the 15th. if she was back there and Kc dug her up there had to be a smell that lingered. i just wonder if LE asked the A's if there had been any bad smells recently (not that they would be honest)

True. I have never lied under oath because in my book it is simply wrong. I must have some kind of a moral compass that this family seems to be missing. :waitasec:

Or throw a little fertilizer over it, a la Scott P....lol.

But didn't George say he put down "New" pavers on the 4th of July?

I'm thinking that if Casey removed one or two on the 18th of June when she borrowed the shovel from the neighbor that may have been what promted George to "replace" the missing pavers

This has nothing to do with Casey but did NG say that the women from AZ was brutally murdered? IF it is the same woman she was talking about last night that walked away with her dog at 5:am and did not return home, she is home now and not brutally murdered. I have no idea who she was talking about so maybe I misunderstood what she said. Did she say Gilbert,AZ??

I think she was talking about the 22-year old girl in DC found brutally murdered in her apartment. I don't know her name but she worked at a Trade Association in DC.

If the smell was that bad in the car wouldn't there be some kindof smell in the back yard??:waitasec:

JMO.....I think that's where she originally had her and the smell got very strong.......that's why she moved her.

Something caused GA and CA to search the back yard. They were suspicious of the yard for a reason.

I thought George put pavers under the playhouse on july 4th. I just posted on another threat about wondering if those two or George smelled decomp in the yard when Casey moved the body, if she did move a body. Maybe that is why the pavers were done, dirt might have been disturbed, and the reason they looked under the playhouse. A pigeon died on my bench in the yard and the smell was there in the air all afternoon.

Boston that's actually a good catch...I didn't realize he said NEW pavers..I mean if you are doing a project in your yard like getting a deck.... You would say "I built a deck" not "I built a new deck"...that is UNLESS you already had one...hm.

Yeah. They had a HORRENDOUS hunch that their daughter had murdered their Grand-Daughter. Any other suggestions as to why they might be compelled to DIG UP the backyard?

Exactly...If Casey did use a shovel to pry up one of the pavers that were already inplace then George certainly would have noticed the "Missing Paver"

I'm guessing maybe thats why he decided to put down "New" pavers on the 4th

I don't think they were piled up all over the place until he purchased new ones

I don't have cable now so I can't watch - I read here (maybe page 7 or this thread) that the defense atty said evidence of what casey did (cooking cleaning) CAN'T be introduced at court?? Did they say why?? I don't think that's true...

I would also be scared of the lightning bolts if I had swore on the Bible to tell the truth and then lied.
