It was all over the news when the protesters were there. Some thought he was doing it to keep them off the lawn, because lime will burn skin, but I KNEW when he spent hours in the back yard liming it, there was another reason.

First, they have dogs, and you NEVER put lime on an area where you dogs or a child could walk. It will burn their feet.

Second, if it was to keep the protesters out, there would be no reason to use all those bags in the back yard. Protesters never go there.

That is often used to kill the smell of decomp and to keep cadaver dogs from getting the scent.

Do you have a link to any of this? I specifically recall George fertilized the front yard but there was never any mention of lime or of him spending hours spreading lime in the back yard. Cadaver dogs searched the back yard many weeks before George fertilized the front.

I think that George put lime in his yard pretty recently, not right after this case broke. That's the way I read it earlier today.
Did you all not read the posts yesterday by the dog trainer? She said that if Caylee had been buried in the yard, that the dogs would have gone crazy. They just alerted, probably from a very mild odor that humans wouldn't even be able to smell. She said that probably it was an article of clothes or maybe the gas cans that had been set down on the ground long enough for some of the scent to apply to the ground. That's why they didn't dig anywhere in the back yard. It was not a strong odor like it would have been if the decomposing body had been in the yard for several days.

Well...You and I definitely see this one the same way. I believe that a suitcase and at least one paver are missing.

That is exactly what I was thinking.

Chilly - If we could outline this in detail the way you are specifying...The case would be solved. LOL!

We can apply all known facts to the theory and see if it's feasible.

June 16th was the last day anyone saw Caylee - she's been missing since then.
No, June 15th was the last time anyone outside the A family can confirm seeing Caylee. So she technically went missing on the 15th.

How is it possible with all of the attention that this case has gotten, that not a single media outlet has been able to drum up a single ANTHONY family member or friend??? Did they not have any communciations with anyone? CA has 3 brothers. GA has at least 1 sister. No one coming out to stand up for them or to talk about anything???

CA's brother posted on another site. He didnt have anything positive to say about the A family. I Do think he is real, he just knows so much about them. He also mentioned GA's ex wife, and said she could attest to G's bad temper.

I think something was amiss in the yard - possibly missing pavers - but George and Cindy did not know the significance at the time - on July 4th they did yard work - replacing the missing pavers and adding more under the playhouse.

Only later did it click - and then George and Cindy searched the yard and the paved area.

I don't see why they are leaving it out of their story though - cuz they fessed up on Casey stealing the gas cans - and they talked about the pool ladder...hmmmmn...something about that hibiscus too.

Please provide a timeline for this theory. Caylee went missing on the 16th. George put down the pavers on 7/4. Where was Caylee's body in the mean time and when was she in the trunk of Casey's car?

I've thought that Caylee could have been placed in the corner by the pool in the ground where the bush was moved from. Then, due to smell or fear of being discovered she was placed into the trunk around the the 20-24th where she remained from a few hours up to the 27th when the car was left at Amscot. Just a theory of what could happen.

Lime...chloroform...How on earth would ordinary folks know about such things?
I'm not sure, but on this thread alone I learned I can treat my lawn and dispose of a dead body at the same time.

They probably would have noticed some missing. If I took mine up, there would be just plain mud holes. They kill grass and all, so it would be noticible, even just one would be noticed IMHO.

They had to have a fortune invested in those pavers. They aren't cheap.
The pavers hadn't been layed out by June 15/16th when Caylee went missing. They were piled up in various places in the backyardl

I recall that George fertilzed the front yard, weeks after LE examined the back yard. It was never said that he used lime, to my knowledge.

If anyone paid attention they could see the bags said hydrated lime which I thought was strange at the time because there is a big difference between that and garden lime. Hydrated lime will burn any skin it touches and at first I thought they are setting themselves up for a heck of a lawsuit using that. Then it dawned on me they could not use garden lime because it has other ingredients and is not really strong enough to confuse the dogs.

Little for you about how to use lime in Florida:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spread lime only if needed in late fall, not in the spring or summer. It must be cool when you spread lime. Use lime on the lawn only if you are sure that your soil is acidic enough to justify it. A soil test is the only accurate way to tell. Contact your Florida County Extension Service to get a soil test kit and related information. If you do apply lime, use a granular lime product in October or even in November. It takes six months for granular lime to break down sufficiently to be helpful to the grass plants.

So I ask again, why would Casey have needed a shovel to get one?

Grandpa and Grandma gardening on the 4rth of July weekend without a second thought. Two weeks, their Grand-daughter is missing and their fussing in their yard. Isn't that special?

It's not really a theory I'm Just thinking out loud

I think Caylee was in the trunk of the Car by at least the 24th on June

Thats why she didn't want GA near the trunk that day

I'm just thinking that if Caylee was buried in the yard on the 16th then she was removed sometime before the 24th (or maybe even the 24th)

Why did she borrow a shovel from the neighbor on the 18th?

She either burried Caylee that day or removed her that day imo

Let's be sure to state what month we are talking, in posts..I took your post as July 16th hence my response.
