Defense wants the records of the polygraph machine itself.

What for? HIS client, and her family have never taken one. :-(

I think he just wants to show the A's what one would look like LMAO..he asked for all the manuals and history of the machine as well.

Padilla wouldn't lie. I hope he got a screen capture to show LE.

I'm guessing he has a ringer online, acting the part of an interested guy.

Bravo, Patty!! We would not have all the information we do today if it weren't for you!! Kudos!! You are the "Great Preserver!" with that newfound talent of being able to catch those news reels etc. and save them! WTG! Thanks!

WOW  Have you or your friend ever engaged her in a conversation?

One time she used "SOULFOOL" and got into a battle with other posters. When things didn't go her way, she posted this, like she did on her blog after she removed information. She likes to post strings of words like this:

Most recently, she used cayleeseeker.

It doesn't take long to know it's Casey. She posts late night mostly.

By the way~ On NG the other night, NG was mistaken in her comments about the woman who saw a car in the median and person resembling Casey coming out of the woods. I watched the rerun to be certain. The person (reporter? staff?) she was talking to had it correct. The woman noticed stickers and markings that her friend's car did not have on it which would be consistent with Casey's four leaf clover or shamrock in the back window.

Just thought I would clear that up. :)

This is just my opinion, but I kind of see her as being somebody who would flee just to have an international manhunt for her and be in the media spotlight 24/7. MOO

Not without a passport. I can't see her sleeping out in the wilds to try to slip into Mexico or Canada.

Well, then they are a pair because as far as I'm concerned, that's what he did last week with his statement. He threw KC under the bus. I bet Cindy called him and gave him a good a_ _ chewing for that. That's probably why he put this 8 section motion out there. He's just proving that he's even more incompetent since I don't think it's legal to ask for test results from the prosecution when his client hasn't even been charged yet.

Seems desperate-- challenge everything, and hope something sticks!

Maybe this will get the web cam back. We could take shifts;) watching the house.
As a side note, I would LOVE to buy LP & his crew the best dinner money could buy. I would gladly treat them to a steak at Ruth Chris . HE ROCKS

LP once said he's an old-fashioned, family-oriented Mexican. And, that's JUST what he is! Very decent, decent guy. Very huggable.

For all that Cindy ACTS like she's grieving so much that she refuses to believe Caylee is dead, she and the rest of the family KNOW exactly what happened to her. They only pretend to believe she's still alive because they want to spare KC jail or worse.

I agree. Denial? No.

Not recently; she has set it to private. I would bet $ that Padilla has someone who is on her friends list. If she did threaten him on MySpace, I hope he turns it in; that would be a violation of her bond.

IIRC - threats made over the internet are also a federal offense

"I coined a term in 1999, when I interviewed female serial killers and mass murderers. This term is a White Picket Fence Fantasy. Women who kill tend to long for a knight to come to their rescue and take care of them. This fantasy plays repeatedly in their minds. When they have to break from their fantasies and actually tend to their children, the burdens of being mothers become overwhelming, and they just want out. It is here that Instead of feeling love for their flesh and blood, they feel anger. Everything that has gone wrong becomes the fault of the child."

* "If only that child had not been born"
* "If only she had the freedom to live her life"
* "If only..."

According to Dr. Schurman-Kauflin, those questions eventually turn into an obsession and in time the mother will only think of what she wants.

"These thoughts haunt her until one day, something stressful happens," Dr. Schurman-Kauflin said. "Usually, it involves the breakup of a relationship or the introduction of a new lover who finds children unappealing.

Females who kill their children tend to see themselves as being very sensual and attractive, and being discarded is too much for them to bear. It does not match with the idealized self that they have created in their minds. So they begin to think of ways to have the lover.

They cannot allow a threat to their self image, so they take steps to quell the increasing internal discord. The females project the rejection onto the children and come to believe that if the children were not there, then life would be good. This is the point where plans are made to murder the little obstacles."

I just have to say that I think this is a great post and that I think it perfectly describes the situation.

See, this makes no sense to me. She won't attend the vigils, but she thinks she can go out in public (in secret) and search for Caylee and she will be safe?

Of course, I can't imagine the judge would grant this request, but...if he did: Just because when and where she will be "searching" wouldn't be made public does not mean the public won't be watching.

Is JB ignorant enough to believe this motion is a good idea or did he submit it merely to shut Casey up? :waitasec:

My best guess is that Casey is incredibly bored and frustrated living under home confinement and under her parent's thumb. That's why she spends so much time at JB's office.........just to get out of that house and away from her parents, particularly her mother. She probably complained to JB that life is just too tough for her and he's got to do something to ease her torment.

If the motion was granted, which I strongly doubt it will be, she has no intention of doing any searching. But she can claim that she's been out searching for Caylee, and with her whereabouts a secret, who would be the wiser? Although from a logistics point of view, I don't see how she can get out of that house without a media escort.

My guess is that it's about JG. It's being reported that he took a polygraph and has been cleared. Cindy keeps calling JG her number one suspect, and it's hard to try to paint a picture of JG being a suspect when he's been cleared by LE and a polygraph. It's all about casting doubt, and that polygraph gets in the way, so JB want's to attack the polygraph machine and/or it's operator as faulty.
