What is the significance of KC calling JCP evidently from CA en GA's place? Did her mom cut her off? Was she worried why the creditcard didn't work all of the sudden? LP talked about a significant phone call to JCP. Does anyone have any idea why this would be important? Had she been there and left something inadvertently in the store? Store parking lot? Did she purchase something at JCP that may implicate her? (tools? shovel?) Maybe she wanted the credit department to send the bill to another address?

Thanks!

George chases Casey, who has taken off in Cindy's car (Some day this week, George unsure. Interview with G.A.)

So on this day we know that KC was driving her mothers car.

where is it stated that she was driving her mom's vehicle? As i see it George could been chasing her in the Sunfire. When CA called police she said she need to report her car stollen. Isn't the sunfire her old car, and they just let KC drive it??

I often think of this and wonder what her plan was, how long she was going to avoid her mother and tell everyone that Caylee was with the Nanny. I mean if Cindy did not get the notice of the car being towed, how much longer was KC going to go on like this?

I think KC telling people the Nanny had Caylee, would then turn into the Nanny wanting to keep Caylee because she herself had kids and since Casey was going back to school and working full time and her parents were often feuding she thought it was the best thing for Caylee. I think she thought she would be able to think on her feet about what to say, but lying to her friends was easy and she did not anticipate Cindy finding her and freaking out - she though her mother and her would continue their long distance relationship because of the fight and eventually she would tell her she gave Caylee up.

She absolutely did NOT expect Cindy and Amy to walk in on her - maybe she thought Amy would stop being her friend because she stole from her, but who cares? Cindy wanting answers and not taking "Caylee is okay" for an answer, threw her off, she then thought up the nanny took her but I spoke to her today and Caylee was fine story. In hopes Cindy would clam down and then let her "search" for the nanny. Instead she called the cops and here we are.

ITA - the one thing KC did not count on was her mother listening to the therapist and taking her advice (thank god!). FINALLY CA was holding her accountable and trying to make her feel some concequences for her actions. CA had NEVER done this before so it did not even occur to KC that it was even in the realms of possibility!

It wasnt until the second call that it sunk through KC's thick skull that - hey she has called the cops!- she came out with the kidnapping story. She had carefully crafted the Zani story over a month or so (premeditation) by dropping her name here and there and I believe you are 100% correct, eventually "Zani" was going to adopt Caylee.
When the LE was bought into it, she had to quickly change the story.

The stupid girl still thinks she is going to get away with this. Her face in court in going to be PRICELESS. I cannot wait til it finally hits home that she is not the criminal genius she imagines herself to be. And thankfully, that day is nearly upon us!:clap::clap:

LP.................nothing in the purchases for Caylee. Car was spotted by Mrs. Sanchez at 7:00 on 27th..........Casey took car on the 27th, went to her mother's home and called J.C. Pennys, and then drove towards the airport and that's where the body will be found

Can anyone tell me why the call to JCP is of importance or why she was calling there?

I'm not totally convinced the car was completely out of gas.

Me either I think George Assumed it was out of gas and took a gas can and filled it before even trying to start it.

I think she was calling to check the balance on her mothers credit card to see how much more money she could steal from her -

Snipped-
A few pages back there is a lot of discussion about how Casey got back and forth from AL's to Amscot if she did in fact come back and use the car again.

Good morning. I am trying this again. I posted this late last night with no response.I have heard a LOT of discussion about "how did KC get from point a to point b" during the time her car was ditched at Amscot. Especially after LP threw it out there again on NG last night. I have also wondered how she made it to the A's home when she took her Mom's car." Orlando has public transportation called Lynx. There is a bus stop on the corner RIGHT by Amscot. I am not saying this how she did it. I'm wondering if anyone else thinks this is a possibility. Or has this already been posted and is old news?

Also, does anyone know the address for the apartment where TONE lives?

Don't these buses..Lynx..have cameras on them?

Everytime I watch those videos I just think "WTH was she thinking??" "Did she not think about surveillance?" "Did she not think Amy would wonder why her bank account was empty?" "How did she think she was going to get away with all of this?"

My only guess is she was thinking she might be forgiven (if the whole Caylee missing blowup had not occurred and people just kept believing Casey's stories for awhile longer) like her bad deeds were forgiven by her family many times before.

I am just sickened watching these videos of her grabbing her bags full of groceries that she literally stole, bags of chips, jergens lotion, etc etc. Not a care in the world. :furious: "Oh here, don't forget to scan my paper towels from the bottom of my cart!!" I don't think there is an end to how disgusted this woman can make me.

She just hands over a check, signs it with whoever's name she feels like it, shows an ID and gets away with it all!! Brazen is RIGHT!

If you think about it this is normal behavior for KC. This is somebody who has NEVER been held accountable for ANYTHING in her whole life and ESPECIALLY her daughter. KC has been stealing from people for possibly countless years and hasn't had nary a consequence for it of substance until now. Her own mother admits KC has run up thousands of dollars on her credit cards and has hacked into her account and CA just deals with it!! That is UNBELIEVABLE to me. So, because of this trend KC's blatant disregard for the law continued to esclate until she reached this horrifying plateau of murder. Thats why KC is unconcerned even with these heavy charges on her. In her mind she's probably thinking she will be the next OJ and get a slap on the hand.

IMO it was not the call itself that was significant, but where the call originated from. The ping put her at the A's house at a specific time when the car had already been seen at Amscot.

If George is to be believed, he had to put gas in it at the towyard (is that right?)

How did Casey time running out of gas with getting the car to AmScot? Were her morning trips on the 27th to check evidence and try to run the remaining gas out of the tank since she had already set up that running out of gas story?

I don't know.. TMI to process

Where did the witness see someone matching Casey's build in the median? Was that on the 417?

IIRC, she did state the date could have been the 27th or before??

i honestly don't think the car ran out of gas as i posted earlier, but I just had a thought.

If she wanted to make sure she put the car near a dumpster to cover the smell, but she also wanted it to be out of gas. She would not want to take a chance of running out of gas on the road. Maybe she left the car running till it ran out of gas.:waitasec:

I'd like to share my thoughts about LP..As far as heros go in the media mess I think LP is on my list. He has helped keep this case in the forefront. I can imagine if I was on NG throwing out my theories people would be having a field day with me. Thats all LP is doing is voicing theories. I don't hang on every word he says and disagree with some of his ideas but the fact thats he puts himself out there has to count for something. I have to admit at the beginning I thought he was just looking for air time and that could well be true but my gut tells me he is a caring person and could have just as well washed his hands and walked away...LP...Thanks for your efforts!...:blowkiss:

ITA with your LP theory. I think at first he took Cindy's words as fact that Casey got a raw deal and Caylee was kidnapped. After LP saw the evidence from the body farm, the DNA of the hair and Casey not offering one sentence on Caylee, he knew something horrible happened. So now more than ever he is determined to help LE and TM find Caylee and bring this charade to an end.

Kudos to LP. He is a stand up guy who got caught up in Cindy's scheme to take the heat off Casey. JMHO

IMO KC didn't think this case would go national. I remember reading that she visited a missing child website earlier in the year. I really think she thought this case would be swept under the rug like alot of others, and she would get away with it.

Yeah, she was on the road sometime after 6 am.

Maybe I am confusing all of KC's "men" and maybe someone has already mentioned this (I'm trying to catch up on this thread right now) but I thought AL said in his statement that there was a time he woke up in the middle of the night KC was gone. Could that have been the night of the 26th into the morning of the 27th?

I remember something along these lines too, which I thought was very strange.
The way I remembered it was that it was RM who woke up and found that Caylee was no longer in bed with him and Casey. I think that Casey later told him that her mom called during the night and asked her to bring Caylee home.
I watched an interview between Cindy and LE where he asks her if she ever made such a call, and she said "NO." That was a huge red flag to me.
It had to have been RM, because he was the only one that we know of who Casey and Caylee both slept in the same bed with him.

LP got scr***d by Baez. He truly believed he could get kc's cooperation. Then when he arrives he discovers he will not be allowed to speak directly to kc.
Baez cost LP a sizable chunk of change!!!!!!!
IMO, this is why LP has stayed on this case.
He is :furious::furious::furious: at the entire situation.
IMO he also cares about that little girl who was tossed away like trash.

This was stated by RM. He said that KC and Caylee spent the night but that Caylee wasn't there in the morning when he woke up. KC told him that her mother had called and that she had had to take Caylee home. CA denies that she ever called KC in the middle of the night to bring Caylee home. This was the night of May31rst.

I love Leonard for a hundred reasons.

It doesn't matter if his theories are right or wrong or even off the wall.

He's been beating the drum for this baby girl from the minute he put his money where his mouth is.

He's also been our voice here at WS to the rest of the world in a way because he reads what we write here and he cares.

I'm grateful to him for his time that he's spent keeping Caylee in the spotlight while most missing children cases don't have a "Leonard" and quickly fade from the media's attention.

And Nancy Grace too ... she's been awesome on this case.

Hopefully Tim Miller will find Caylee and the grand jury won't be needed.

To everyone who has put this little two year old girl FIRST and has tried to find her .... "thank you" from a FL native who can't wait for Jennifer Kesse to be found, Trenton Duckett to be found and John Couey to leave the planet.

~

Excellent post- ITA.
