Is there somewhere that the distance between Amscot and Tony's was looked up? I thought it was about 2 miles, but that's not counting on any shortcuts around other streets, that would be main roads.

I have a reason to believe Leonard's theory may include Casey walking back to her car the morning of the 27th and taking it to dump Caylee's body before returning it to Amscot.

Casey could have left the car at Amscot the night before (26th) for two reasons.
1) She really planned on leaving Caylee in the trunk for... ever then realized that wasn't going to play out right.
2) She only parked it there since the smell was getting so bad and didn't want anyone at Tony's to notice.

If the Manager is off on the time then that would certainly explain alot of things but I think if we start twisting witness statements to fit our theories then all we are doing is nothing more than speculating...

I know you are right. But if she is just saying it because of their time span issue and it isn't true...it is going to tick me off. LOL

Unless she walked the 3.5 miles on 2 seperate occasions - which I doubt

Remeber KC liked to jog - she could have gotten up before AL on the 27th and just "jogged" on down to the Amscot to get the car. How she got to AL's the night before - well maybe Annie took her - we have YET to hear ANYTHING from Annie and that verywell could be why - she could have called Annie and asked for a ride - outta gas - it no call on the record she could have used a pay phone - I'm sure there is one around the Amscot.

His statement says he "first noticed the car at 7am on the 27th"

I think he meant they talked about the theory, bounced it off one another etc. Spit it back and forth to one another etc. Again LP and his wording is peculiar sometimes.

I have and still think that she dumped the body before daylight and then dumped the car and then jogged/walked back to her parents house to clean up. She had to stink after handling the body and wouldn't want anyone to be around her until she cleaned up. It's only 7.21 miles from Amscott to her parents house. If she took short cuts, then even quicker for her.

night of 26th until daylight on the 27th she dumps body ----->

before 7 a.m. (before Amscott employee arrives to open for business at 7:00 am runs/jogs to parents house to clean up, grabs food from parents house so that she has an excuse to make it look like she's been busy shopping (she probably didn't think TonE would notice the food didn't come from store --->

11:00 a.m. on 27th she calls TonE to pick up her up, she's already waiting outside of car ready to hop in TonE's jeep so that he wouldn't get out of his car to check hers out. She tells him it's mechanical problems rather than out of gas, because he probably would have offered to go get gas and bring it back. She was determined not to let him get near the car because of the smell

The confusion may be that people tend to think of night time as the prior day, and when they get up in the morning, it's a new day. Hence the confusion of June 26th and June 27th.

Casey may have disposed of the body sometime after midnight on June 27th, and some might say is was the "night of the 26th." Casey disposes of the body in the hours prior to dawn. Certainly, disposing of the body would leave Casey reeking of decomposition, but I don't think she would have gone to her parents house to clean up. If her parents woke up while she was taking a shower in the middle of the night, what sort of explanation could she give them, and they would ask where Caylee was. What date was it that Casey took a shower at JG's?

I think Casey did go back to Amscot and pick up the car and go to Cindy's house about 10:00am on June 27th, as LP stated. Then she went back to where she buried Caylee to see in the daylight that she had not left any evidence behind. Then she returned the car to Amscot and called Tony to come pick her up.

I can see KC jogging, walking to the Amscot 3.5 miles the morning of the
27th, picking up the Pontiac and doing her errands, disposing/checking on body,on the way back from body disposal site, stopping back at the Anthony compound, cleaning up ie;showering etc., parking the Pontiac back at the Amscot and calling TonE. The jogging, she is desperate. If there is no one else involved, this is the only way I can figure it to work out for this theory. Thats the best I can come up with.

Yes, but she was spending the money as fast as she was stealing it, so what was she going to leave town on $200.00 in her purse? I can't leave town on that just for a weekend much less to move. I don't think she had any plans of going anywhere.

Unless she needed the clothes for hauling butt out of town. When she left Cindy's, did she have bags packed? And just how did she leave Cindy's? I may have missed that part. It was abruptly and with Caylee, kind of like running away from home? LOL Sad.

The explanation for who shuffled KC from and to various places on the 27th might not be answered by names we're familiar with. I love the idea that was presented earlier tonight: KC could have been the perfect hitchhiker! This would eliminate the theory that an accomplice was necessary.

Regurgitate is a very colorful colloqualism (sp?), to re-chew the cud (cows), to re-chew the tobacco -- to reflect on and rethink the theory.

I've also thought it possible that the 2 guys Casey claimed helped push her car out of the road, may actually be 2 guys that picked her up and took her to her car.

With that thought, there would still have to be a reason they haven't come forward yet with either of those possibilities.
