Each time I have seen Mark Klaas over the years giving an opinion, I have agreed with him. This one is just common sense. You just don't wait on a lead that could bring a child home alive. MOO

I personally don't think so. Not a Defense excuse this time. They need to produce Caylee else the Perp is doomed.

I think it prevents the A team discussing the case against the Perp or mis-characterizing the accumulating evidence against the Perp but -- the line is drawn when it comes to info on Caylee related to the search, tips, leads, news, etc. LE would want her found.

While related I do not think they will Gag the search . . . even though the evidence counters a good outcome unless there is dated 'proof-of-life' or an alive Caylee standing there.

One huge problem I have with the A fam dangling this carrot from Thursday of last week is that it means they are setting up others to be drawn in for more possible donations. We all know they do not have any credible evidence that Caylee is still alive as it is not possible according to the forensics in this case. This is another ploy in the defense tool chest and I cannot wait until it backfires on them miserably.

However, there are multitudes of people out there who have not followed up on statements, the actual preliminary reports, and understand their meanings enough to know more tests were being done for final results to be used in the trial. It leaves them wide open to believe the A fam plus KFN and to give money under such pretenses.

Marc Klass is so on target. I do think Tim is an honest, hardworking man. He is very diligent, and his heart is in the right place. This situation is so unlike anything seen before. The "mother" has no interest and is of no help. The grandparent insist Caylee is alive. Then you add Alpha Dog LP, who is going to do his thing no matter what, when, the ideal situation is both Tim and LP should be working with authorities, spliting the regions, and backing out the minute anything is found without alerting media (which is what Tim has always done). LP is a showman, will not work in tandem, and the media is his second home, not good for the search. Then Kid Finders is doing a whole other thing with the grandparents, building their hopes up and apparently not giving them proper adivice if they truly think they have a credible lead. Duh...contact authorities immediately. Again, no press conference.

The money to be made on this case, or a I should say, Caylee is sickening. I'm sure LP is lining up a book deal. I'm equally certain that Tim is not. I have no idea regarding Kid Finders, but their methods are atrocious so far. Building false hope should be a crime.

My ex used to do search and rescue. He was provided with 48 hours worth of training and all he was allowed to do was use lights to light up the scene for the actual searchers.

Tim certainly did not provide that much training.

You know what, you may very well be right. She could have given LE another pair of pants. I know I never would of put them in my washing machine. I realize I'm asking you to speculate, but in your 24 years of searching, I'm thinking you may have done some profiling to help you pinpoint your searches.

It's my understanding that Tim does rely on volunteers, but they are given basic training on how to conduct a thorough search by grid. They are also instructed on how to proceed if they think they have found something, which is to mark the area, back out the same way they came in, and call for reinforcements. By that, I believe there is someone with walkie talkees at hand to alert team leaders, who then alert the authorities. Not the media. Is it perfect, no, but the sheet man power needed to search so wide areas demands volunteers.

LP had one of "trained divers" fired for falsification of his record. I do not trust LP's actions, since again, his stories regarding what Casey told him have changed dramatically over these many weeks, he calls the media first chance he gets, and now he is about to get 250,000.00 to be filmed doing his searches: this amount equals the entire budget of Marc Klass's foundation for the year.

We never saw any closeups of Tim's search finds, yet LP had the media there, on the scene, filming while it was suggested and shown possible bones found of Caylee. This is not a man who is in it for finding this poor child. He now has, in my opinion, a money making machine that keeps on giving-to him. Again, this is my opinion.

Your opinion is very much appreciated and thanks so much for taking the time to answer some of our nagging questions! I especially agree with the first part of your post here regarding the forensic evidence and the cadaver dogs.

So basically at this point it's a crapshoot unless more pertinent details are revealed by Casey, which seems unlikely.

Must be very discouraging for people who spend their lives trying to find the missing, when those who have hidden them want anything but.

States Klaas Kids runs on 250,000.00 a year, continual searches, newsletters, actually finds people/bodies, feeds searchers. Hmmmmm. Has very low opinio of TES, LP and def KF. All I can say is wow.

While I don't share the same opinion of TES and LP that Marc does I can tell you he speaks the truth when it comes to facts.

I work for Marc. He does so much you can't begin to imagine. It wears me out just looking at his schedule.

Not speaking for Marc but knowing him like I do he dislikes people who are counterproductive when it comes to searching for a loved one. I understand his anger with the Anthony's totally.

Guessing he is sick of the circus surrounding LP and TM and is plain old fed up.
