Nancy Grace - 11/7/08 Friday

I got that impression too but I still can't figure it out. I thought it was kind of funny that George thought Baez was a public defender. :)
I'm really curious now as to how he inserted himself into this whole thing!

Yes it does.....Why on earth would they be digging up there back yard looking for Caylee if Casey had told them that she was with the Nanny.

I'm convinced that the Anthony's know more than their saying

Yes, I think so too. Why on earth would you assume your granddaughter was in the trunk?
He didn't mention KC, he said Caylee.

I think Casey killed Caylee and was an unfit mother.

If my daughter was doing sleepovers with her boyfriend, on her computer when she was home and stealing from everyone, I would tell my husband my daughter was acting less than fit, too.
Yet I'll never forget Cindy saying what a "good mother" Casey is. Why on earth would she say that if she knew otherwise? I've never been able to understand that.

It is my understanding she was trying to say she deposited the cash into her parents account, even giving them a deposit slip which was obviously phony according to GA.

And when GA tried to question Casey about it, even asking for the police officer's card in case they needed to pursue it, Cindy steps in and says "Oh, we're going to work with this through her and all.", basically telling George to step off and not question Casey about the "hold up" or where the money is.

Exactly. Casey's thefts are nothing new, her parents expected some recompense and were slapped in the face again by her boldface lies.

ya know who NG hasn't had on in a while? M Klaas?

  • #127
My interpretation from the interview was Casey pocketed money she was suppose to put into G/C's account, came up with a pretty decent deposit slip, and then when confronted that the money wasn't there broke down and cried about how she had been robbed at gunpoint and was too scared to tell them their money was gone.

Good grief:rolleyes:

I don't get that either.

If they supposedly picked up the car before CA found Any and therefore KC, how could GA say that they had found KC but not Caylee.

That just doesn't jibe with everything else that we know so far.

When did they find out where KC was and why didn't they tell LE that?

So did they really find KC before they went and picked up the car and that was why GA suspected that they smell might be Caylee?

Did LA perhaps already know where KC was and finally told his mom?

something like this just sets my hinky meter off big time. These descrepancies are not normal.

No where in Simon B's statement does he say that George told him Caylee is missing or that Casey was found.

It sounded like she told them that she had deposited money into their account and somehow produced a deposit slip that demonstrated this...

Sort of like "watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat?"

IMO CA can think and say whatever she wants about Casey, but yet no one else can. I think she is a control freak beyond belief. JMO of course:)

Now this is something I don't get. I've heard it both ways:

1) Cindy was in contact with KC who kept promising to bring Caylee by and didn't.

2) Cindy didn't hear from KC the entire time from June 15 until she dragged her out of Tony's apartment.

Which is it?

Cindy talked to KC on KC's phone. Toward the end Casey just texted. Casey had excuses why Caylee couldn't come to the phone.

Cindy didn't know WHERE Casey was. She thought Casey and Caylee were in Jacksonville. Cindy DID get in contact with Casey's old friends and they told Cindy Casey wanted some space from Cindy. Cindy didn't know Amy or where Amy lived or who Amy was until she found papers in Casey's car.

This is according to Cindy's testimony at the bond hearing.

*** half way down****part of 400 pages document release
The documents also stated that before detectives arrived to perform a search of the back yard of Casey Anthony's parents' home, Cindy Anthony, Caylee's grandmother, checked inside the sheds and George Anthony, Caylee's grandfather, moved a playhouse and looked underneath concrete pavers for "any evidence of foul play."

I must have misread some previous posts, which made me think they were looking specifically for Caylee's body.

And once again, Cindy "handled" it by circumventing George, meaning all she did was hold it over KC's head later.

  • #134
Yikes! I just did the math............500 team leaders, each managing 15 people equals...........7500 people!

:clap:YiPPee! I pray they find precious Caylee.

I think Cindy said the stain was there when they purchased the car in 2000 for Lee. Yes, she's lying again. If that stain had been there 8 years ago, George, who's detailed cars before would have had it cleaned.

LP SAYS that Cindy said the stain was there in 2000 when they bought the car. I wonder if they even owned the car at that time.

Page 14 line 7 for Caylee missing.

LE asked about the stain. It's location relative to the bag. It sounded like maybe the stain wasn't there anymore when they got the car.
The stain was there - remember, LE used the black light on it?

  • #138
Why on earth would George hand over $4,000 to his lying thieving daughter in the first place?

  • #139
Exactly. Casey's thefts are nothing new, her parents expected some recompense and were slapped in the face again by her boldface lies.
This is what I don't understand. They knew. They knew she lied and lied and lied. And it doesn't sound like her lies were particularly well crafted. They sound infantile and obvious. And GA is saying "something wasn't adding up"??? It's no wonder she thought she could get away with the whole ZFG whopper. It doesn't sound like either GA or CA every questioned her on the silliness of her lies.

You got it. The "Caylee's Alive and we're searching for her" is utter BS.
