Nancy Grace - 11/7/08 Friday

My eyes just rolled into the back of my head. I bet that's exactly what she said!

But if Casey was "robbed at gunpoint" she wouldn't have the deposit slip in hand, would she? A deposit slip would mean the money made it to its destination (i.e., the bank and not her wallet). A durrrrrr...

I am from a longline of dysfunction, I speak crazy pretty fluently ;)

The deposit slip bought her time because she could "prove" the money went in, which she was probably late doing to begin with. Few days or a week later they realize it isn't, so then the "I made a fake deposit slip because I couldn't tell you the truth, I was robbed"

And when GA tried to question Casey about it, even asking for the police officer's card in case they needed to pursue it, Cindy steps in and says "Oh, we're going to work with this through her and all.", basically telling George to step off and not question Casey about the "hold up" or where the money is.

If this kind of shenanigans were going on in the A household then they should have gotten Bad Seed some mental help. Seriously!

Now this is something I don't get. I've heard it both ways:

1) Cindy was in contact with KC who kept promising to bring Caylee by and didn't.

2) Cindy didn't hear from KC the entire time from June 15 until she dragged her out of Tony's apartment.

Which is it?

When George related the events of June 24th, the day the gas cans were taken and a police report made, he said Casey suddenly showed up at the house. In the course of their conversation, he asked Casey, "did you talk to your mother today?" Casey responded and said that she had, and that mom had told her about the gas cans being stolen.

If that conversation is accurate, then there was some conversation, although I'm not sure I believe it when Cindy said at the bond hearing that they talked every day.

Well I can always go back and reread them but maybe someone here can point directly to them. I only keep this stuff in my head so maybe i got something mixed up. I don't feel like looking it up but maybe you can if you are so sure that I am not correct.

Simon says :) that George said, "I just need to see my grandaughter, she won't let us see our granddaughter."

I don't mean this to be nasty. I mean it seriously. They ALL sound like they could have used help a while ago.

Link won't open for me. I read it the other day. George says that Casey won't let them see Caylee. Simon uses the word missing, not George.

The entire interview is SB telling what GA said. It was his recollection of what happened right?

"he'd been telling me about his grandaughter missing"

I remember early in the case Cindy saying Casey always eventually tells the truth. Cindy may actually believe she gets the truth out of her, but really all she has gotten was the lie she finally accepted.

George tried to talk to Casey about it, but Cindy stepped in and stopped him.

I dont know, as a mom, I have occassionally found it necessary to step in between dad and kid before it gets really ugly but $4000 is $4000 and Cindy is as nutty as KC.

I bet when KC was little, every time she did something wrong and GA tried to punish her for it, CA stepped in and stopped him and let whatever she did slide or she would go behind his back and let her off whatever punishment he doled out.

No wonder KC is the way that she is.

You're right!:blowkiss: Good catch.

I can't understand how KC has no conscience.....how can anyone steal from their parents? How can parents not notice that their child has no conscience?

I totally agree. I think she would hammer KC until she came up with something that she could accept. True or false.

Exactly. When Simon relates what George says, the word missing is NOT used. George did not say Caylee was missing, he said Casey wouldn't let him see her. Only Simon used the word missing, after seeing on TV that Caylee was missing. Nothing is said at all about Casey being 'found'.

I stand corrected. could you provide a link so that I can go and reread that part? My harddrive (brain) must need to be defragged.

If any of my relatives pulled half of what Casey pulled I would have attempted a Baker Act on them. No joke. Sign them over and let the doctors make the call on whether they are a danger to themselves or others. Claiming to have been robbed at gunpoint but not mentioning it for fear of the parentals being mad? Boy, that's a familiar tune, isn't it?

Hasn't been confirmed. No one knows. Not even GA.

I think from what news stories had said JB was found either by his card being on the bulletin board at the jail or KC asked who a good lawyer was when she was being processed (where you sit with other people being processed) and someone gave his name. But she did get it from the jail not the Anthony's getting him.

She can steal from her parents because Cindy trained her to. Every lie was bolder, bigger and more outrageous. Lying led to stealing which also increased in the amount taken and the story behind it with every event.

Sorry to post over and over but now I'm really starting to understand why in the world Casey thought she could pull off these ridiculous lies! She really invented some WHOPPERS that flew at Hopespring Drive!

True. I don't think that CA has ever really gotten the truth out of KC unless it was to KC's benefit. She didn't really want the truth, just just wanted a story that she could live with whether it was the truth or not did not really matter.

I think that I feel sorry for CA when all is said and done and she finds out that she has never really gotten the truth from KC and all the things that she thought were the truth were not.

She will spend many years going over everything from the time KC was old enough to talk trying to sort out truth from fiction.

Casey says she got his info that way, yes, but I am not sure I buy it. Call me cynical.
