Nancy Grace 8.28.08 Tony Padilla On

I don't think Casey was a flight risk before but now that she knows that she is going back to jail that opinion has changed for me. Sure it would be hard for her to run but not impossible especially if she has help. Who cares about her appointment tomorrow, she can have it at the jail, I think she needs to go bank NOW

I'm thinking that Cindy might help her escape somehow? Not sure if she's really able to but I'm sure she has given it some thought... I agree that Casey needs to go back to jail NOW!!!! :behindbar

Just once, I would like to see someone from that "family", forget about CASEY and do WHAT IS RIGHT FOR CAYLEE.

Here, here!:clap::clap::clap:

Now I have the answers. :) Tony spoke and explains it as such: Leonard is the guarantor of the bond, he put it up, and he can take it back.

Just as if I was to bond out someone with my own money and then I hear they may take off, I can't take the bond back.

So this saves face for Tony as well as Leonard.

If I understood LP correctly the other night the 50k is gone for ever, "Spent Money", is what he said.

I still havn't been able to get a straight answer from Tony but I believe that the 50k now belongs to him (minus exspenses) since he is the one who wrote the bond.

If this is true I think Tony should donate all that he profited from writing this bond to a missing childrens organizaton.

Just my opinion

So....hubby has on the dem convention.....did Tony say the bail is going to be revoked?

Cindy better be careful. She has already done enough suspicious things. She better stay away from witnesses and get back to washing pants or Lady Bananas is going to end up in jail quicker than she can say Pizza.

I agree, why give her a 48-hours heads up?

:furious:

"Oh, Casey, I love you, sweetheart. And wasn't Caylee the cutest thing?? Cute as a button. Just loved her to pieces!! Such a shame that she's missing....... Can I get you anything?? Pizza?? Beer?? A joint?? Are you comfy? Do you want me to get a message to TonE for you? I promise I will just after my next press appearance. All those people care about is Caylee! I mean, we did love her, but she's missing and you're here! Let me plump your pillow, sweetheart...."

:behindbar

UGGHHH!!! :clap::clap::clap::clap:

I've been lurking for a while after being told that my posts aren't welcome here, and if this post gets me banned, so be it. How utterly refreshing to finally read something written with compassion and understanding of what a horrid thing the Anthony family, and most especially Cindy, are struggling to deal with. I agree completely, Cindy's inability to accept reality is sad and pitiful. The woman needs emotional support, not ridicule and scorn. She's lost her grandchild for gosh sakes, a child that she obviously loved and adored. She is soon going to have to accept that her daughter is a murderer, capable of killing her own child. Perhaps some here could simply accept those things without batting an eyelash, obviously Cindy can't. Someone posted earlier that Cindy "deserves" everything that happens to her. It makes me shudder to see such a dark side of humanity. Who deserves to lose their granddaughter?

Everyone is so concerned about whether Casey might commit suicide. Cindy is the one I worry about. Stephen Grant's father killed himself because he couldn't live with knowledge of what his son had done....and he didn't have half the nation gleefully spewing venom at him.

Yes Cindy is acting frantic and "weird" according to some people. I'd be suspicious of her if she was acting any other way. That poor poor woman.

Thank you, Nicki, for showing me that I am not alone in extending my sympathy to Cindy. You're a good person.

Well said. Eloquently written. Here here! It is good to see some human compassion and understanding instead of bitter judgements.

I am beginning to believe Cindy lives in her own little world just like her daughter. They make stuff up and think its the truth. Like mother, like daughter. No wonder Casey is such a nut. I try to have compassion for her but I just cannot stand liars.

All Leonard has to do is pick Casey up and drive her back on Saturday. Leonard is being kind so Casey can meet with her attorney tomorrow.

Who knows, maybe more surprises will happen tomorrow!

I'm wondering if this is all just a joke between them and she won't be going back.

Sad to say...maybe for the DRAMA and more TV face time for LP? There is absolutely NO reason for them to be on TV announcing this. NONE!

Once again, it's all about Casey! :furious:

I have tons of love and compassion for Caylee. After all she is the innocent victim in all of this.

Not Casey.

I think the bounty hunter said something about not wanting anything to come back a him later for not allowing her to see her lawyer since she already had the appt. with him.

I believe if she could talk one of those boyfriends to help, she would run.
I didn't think that earlier.

Yes, on Saturday. :behindbar

Doesn't that Mr. Estes get money too? He is the one that helped provide a bond there. I am sure he didn't do it for free. But yes, the 50,000 belongs forever to the bond agent. I don't know how Tony and Mr. Estes worked out the deal.

If I understood LP correctly the other night the 50k is gone for ever, "Spent Money", is what he said.

I know I would hate to walk in Cindy's shoes. I do believe she is having a nervous breakdown and it is sad for all of us to see. I am not her so I don't know how I would react. Thank you for sharing your feelings.

Bam, I believe that Cindy is using denial as a way to cope right now. If she were to let herself believe the truth she would break down and lose it.

Denial is a coping mechanism, when something is so horrible sometimes people can only deny that it has happened.
If she were to admit that her own daughter killed her granddaughter it would be the most horrible thing to her in the world. Her mind has decided to simply deny it for now.
For her, at this time, it's probably best. If she were to break down and admit it, before she is ready she could end up in an institution.
While I don't like it. I can understand it in something this horrible.
