I agree. I was actually thinking about this the other day and it just really doesn't make sense.

I think that GA made up the story about going in the car trunk on the 24th. He gave way too much information.

the same this about seeing them leave on the 16th. Too much info. Too much detail.

Before anyone gets their panties in a wad, I know he is ex-LE, so was my husband and men, as a general rule, dont' notice much. It is just not in their makeup. How many times do you get a new hairstyle or a new dress or new glasses or whatever and have to point out what is new? They just don't see everyday stuff.

If that day there was something big that happened around the time they were leaving, he might, MIGHT have noticed what they were wearing but any normal day.....no way. If he was watching his favorite show, he probably never even looked up, just waved and said bye.

If he had gone in the trunk and found the gas can then, why did he not call the police and withdraw the report? He didn't forget to call. He didn't get busy and it slipped his mind. He didn't get those cans back till much later.

Where he got them is what I am not sure about right now. There weren't in the car when picked up from the tow yard because the tow yard guy didn't notice them.

I do believe that Cindy may have called Casey and told her about the gas cans and the police report and told her "Girl, I know you got the gas cans and you better get them back here before you Dad finds out it was you." but I don't think that Casey then showed up while her Dad was at home to put them back. That would have been truly stupid. She should have been able to tell if he was there or not.

Did CA's tires ever get rotated? Did he find the chock he was looking for? Why would she have even had a chock in her car anyway? I don't carry ours around with me.

I have been convinced GA was lying from the beginning. There is no way any of that happened, the way it was told. This is a cover-up.

Probably not a thread's worth to discuss on that tho. There are limited possibilities for refusing to take a LD test.

I assume that would be Baez's decision (I mean legal opinion) not to take a lie dectector. However, I think Casey would cause a lie detector to short circuit and cause an entire black-out for the city of Orlando. Do the people of Orlando want to risk a power outage for an entire week?

We have gone way off discussing the show here. Anything else that we need to tackle from NG tonight?
Ok...I have a question and I haven't seen it addressed on the show. How did Casey expect to get away with writing all these bogus checks? I'm serious! I can't come up with anything other than she really does not live in the real world.

I think we will find that she rid herself of Caylee's body the final time on the 26th. She had to have abandoned it then directly after. The worker saw it on the 27th.....in the am. She abandoned it on the 26th at some point.

imo

I think you are right!

You are so right and I concur. That is why I say I have seen so many tragedies in my life and they all deserve to be remembered. It is just hard on me to watch them over and over... I have not forgotten them.

OT: While everyone is remembering 911...I haven't heard anyone mention the OKC bombing around here except me. See my siggy. I think the statement that one of the rescuers left behind speaks for all. They are ALL victims of senseless violence and crime...including Caylee.

Hi everyone! Here's a delayed 'group hug' for our devotion and our wonderful NG - in all her glory....did you see how quickly she teared up while talking about little Lucy's mosquito bite?

She needs an Emmy! I looked at my husband and said, watch her shed that tear....that's my Nancy!!!!!

Yeah, but who called her about the shiney shirts? The last two days, she's not doing them.

NG just said she faces up to 50 years? That isn't true. No one faces that amount of time on check fraud. 5 years on each count, does not mean five years consecutively. She would serve it all at the same time.
Does she have to sensationalize everything?

She faces UP to 50 years. Doesn't mean all concurrent either. It really depends on the sentencing judge.

It is really no different as far as noteriety is concerned. She is all of those things. It doesn't matter what our personal feelings of her are. That is hardly the point that I was making.

Lets not argue over the definition of a word, it's kinda petty.

I'm sorry if you that that I was trying to argue with you....I really wasn't. Not at all actually. I was just pointing out that in my opinion she is not a celebrity and or adored. She is infamous and a pariah. In my mind those two words carry very different meanings is all. I hope you are not still offended as that was not the intention of my post.

I hate to say it...I haven't liked where my mind has been going lately, but I feel like the whole thing has been scripted.

That is an awesome pic and I totally agree, it needs to be spread all over the net...

God, how I wish someone would send this to Nancy Grace and ask her to use it on her show!!!!

SWAG are you in FL? It is my understanding that you are correct on almost every state except FL. It sure seems like a crazy law.
Yes - SoFL. And yes this did happen. I will go try to find this case. I remember it well as people were really upset about it - until it was explained. The guy had NO record - so try him on the first charges, convict and sentence. Then when you go to trial on the second (more serious) charges he is convicted felon - more weight.

We have the 10-20-LIFE law here. Means 10 years if you have a gun (during a crime), 20 years if you discharge the gun and LIFE if you shoot someone (injure or kill). There are big posters in almost every store down here with it on it.

Then we also have the 3 strikes law - which basically says that REPEAT offenders get maximum time.

LP said that JB stops by house to ensure she is alone in her room....
I don't think that is exactly what he said, but I can check or watch the rerun.

I do find it odd that the A's refused to take a polygraph. Makes it seem they are scared they will be asked questions they don't want to answer.
I had to take one nearly 40 years ago for a job, it was required of every employee. I was scared, but it went okay. I was instructed to answer yes or no... no elaboration.

This is why I still think the family does not know what really happened. I just don't see this as a conspiracy within the family. Baez instructed them not to talk to her about the case when she was first released. I'm sure he probably told Casey to keep her mouth shut as well. If this really is the case, imagine how frustrating that would be for the family. You would feel forced to tip toe around her at that point....unfortunately making Casey the 'queen'. Not a pretty site, but probably an accurate view.

Like the lawyers telling me to not to talk to my child about the case of my missing grandchild that went missing on her watch would carry any weight. I would be on her every waking minute and waking her up every hour on the hour to ask the same question "Where is Caylee?"

This is where you have to decide what your priorities are, finding Caylee or protecting your daughter or keeping the blinders on so you can continue to live in fantasy land.

Lawyer be damned, someone has to ask her the tough questions, why not her parents? They can always get the info then pretend that they didn't and come up with some cover story and still find Caylee's body. It is not like they don't know how to lie.

I think the whole thing is tragic, none of it is entertainment. I don't see how anyone can love any part of this. It's thinking like this that is causing her to become the celebrity that she has become. This is why she is getting book and movie offers. Because people want to be and are loving watching KC suffer.

Lets let the investigators do thier job, and then let the judge and jury do theirs. We can watch, but not because we want to see KC get what she deserves, to see the smile get wiped from her face. Lets Watch because there is a little girl out there missing and we need to know the truth. If you allow KC under your skin, she will only eat you alive just like she has done to everyone in her life.

I do love that she is going to get what she deserves. I have dealt with people like this in my job who commit the most horrible crimes and lie and blame everyone in their path but I have never seen someone so heartless and unemotional when it is their own child. She has the nerve to walk around like she is going to get away with everything, so smug and uncaring. This is tragic to Caylee because that poor child did nothing but want to be loved by her mother. What kind of mother acts like this or does this? She does not know where her child is and the whole time she was missing she was having a grand ole time and now she spends her days on the internet hanging out and walking around like she just won Miss America. She loves it that the whole nation is watching this case b/c she loves attention no matter how it comes to her. I love it that the cops are just taking their time building a case so they do not miss anything and I hope that everyday that goes by she is looking over her shoulder waiting and wondering "when are they going to come for me".

I think it's what the shrink on the show said. I thought it was great.

When she said that neurotics build castles in the sky and psychotics live in them.

(she was describing Casey; I think that was it)

I respectfully disagree....Casey is NOT a celebrity. She is notorious and or infamous, not celebrated.

They are two very different things.

This will also dawn on Casey sooner than later. She is a pariah.

She's right up there with Charles Manson. You know just a fresh faced wholesome all Amercian.
