Nancy Grace - 9/18/08 - Thursday

I've never seen a show like this one where the host (NG) does more to undermine the level of conversation her panelists attempt to put forth. She's like a mean child.

Ok, we get it, you can't stand NG. Next.

Cindy lied? Is the Pope Catholic?
If those records don't indicate that Cindy and Casey had some sort of phone contact on almost a daily basis from the middle of June until the middle of July, she not only lied, she lied under oath.

That there's perjury.

No, there was no mention of talking to the media at all. He's saying she would be in trouble for having info about the case and not revealing it to police while she was in Florida instead of now. Never heard of such a thing.
Wow, I wonder what she knows.

The Anthonys must be wracking their brains right about now trying to remember what they said in her presence.

Assuming that at some point we'll be able to still-frame the shots of the calls, is there an easy way to tell the difference between a list of phone calls and a list of text messages?

there was just too many in a row each minute to be phone calls. that would have meant that not one person picked up and she did not leave a message for any of the people that she called. i mean, staring at phone bills all the time, it just jumped out as texts. i have seen people that have phone bills that are hundreds of dollars every month and no call logs look like that, but text logs do.

I posted earlier that I wish LE would have had someone who feigned empathy for Casey and that way she might open up. That female security guard is good.

And I bet she did just that. She played Casey at her own game.
Bet with that type job (BH) that you would do alot of playing to be the "good buddy".
I would say that this female bounty hunter that babysat KC was good at the game.

I think pizmex has a love-hate relationship with Nancy.

Can't stand her, but can't not watch.

Every toddler that I've ever seen or been around also acts up when Mom is on the phone. I wouldn't have been able to have been on the phone all the time like Casey is said to have been.

Perhaps that's why "Zanny the nanny" came in so handy. Awfully kind too, of her "employers" to let her spend so much time on the phone. Yeah, soo very "proud of the way Caylee was being raised!" :furious: :furious:

I remember LP saying she had to sign a confidentiality agreement. That could be the only issue standing in the way of her talking to LE.
I'm not sure how legal a contract is if it's being used to cover up a crime.

Wouldn't the State Attorney's office have to offer immunity, not LE? Hopefully, it's just a detail that will require a little more time to accomplish.

Yeah, um Cindy- sometimes it IS against the law to lie. Seems she certainly had an "in-opportunity" to tell the truth there.

Those phone records don't match to the info she gave to the LE.
I can't imagine!

Did you see the amount of paperwork for all of her phone calls!
My gosh!

And, you KNOW LE went through every, single, one!

Well pizmex shouldn't come here during the show and attack and belittle NG while we're trying to discuss the show's comments and this case.
It just gets old.
That's not what this thread is for.

I know. I'll sleep better tonight because I'll have that picture in my mind.
(I feel terrible for enjoying that thought so much.):blushing:

I figure she must have been working her fingers to the bone smoking up that keyboard, but who the hell was she texting every moment of the day? Her friends were at work or in school, she certainly wasn't txtng her parents, who was she annoying with those constant messages? And how was she keeping an eye on her daughter if she was glued to a phone?

I think it will be most interesting to find out down the line just who she was trying to contact.

I remember that as well however, when it comes to a crime like a possible murder how in the hell would this agreement hold up? Maybe it was worded something to the effect of the information would have to go through him [Baez] first? I don't know. It could be that she consulted counsel so that she would be protected prior to speaking to LE???

Geez, I wish LP would be just a little more clearer sometimes!
A private agreement :deal: cannot trump a subpoena. However, OCSO cannot issue a subpoena to interview a possible witness. The State's Attorney can issue a subpoena. Defense counsel cannot prevent a LE from contacting and interviewing a witness. A witness can decline to answer questions to LE for basically any reason; including having a contract with a confidentiality clause. Search warrants that LE can obtain pertain to documents, records, things and places to investigate, but cannot be used to force a pre-trial interview with LE.

I checked on that and they do not have a non-profit 501-3c status. The are also not registed with the Sec. of State as a non profit corporation, so they may be collecting funds illegally.

There is an entire and might I add, very interesting thread on this as well. Blink and some others have been working way hard figuring this stuff out.

Casey can give a blow by blow description of what is going on with the protestors but she doesn't know the phone # of the baby sitter she had for 2 years or has known for 4 years, nor the phone # or address of anyone that can confirm she even exists, nor the phone # of Jeff that introduced her to the babysitter that she had just talked to recently. uh huh. yep.
You know what I imagine, I imagine the A's sitting in the house getting all indignant at the way that they are being attacked by the protesters and the media and planning...yes, actually planning on what they will do next. Getting Casey to make the phone call was priceless. They...and I do mean all of them...don't believe for one minute that they deserve ANY criticism. Casey sounds like it's just an ordinary day, of course minus the trouble that's happening outside. I have never in my life seen such audacity. I got so ticked off when she claimed to the dispatcher that it was now a "media" event. Perhaps, her attorney can gather all the videos of late for her viewing pleasure. How come it's not so funny now?
