 Yes because nothing is more heinous than "Assault by means of a dangerous weapon; TO WIT, a buffalo head nickel." We want to avoid that.
Betcha the protesters got all those nickels from that bad accident the other day - where $182,000. IN NICKELS was spilled. lol - the all look like the type to go out there on the highway and "play chicken" with cars to get nickels, hahahahaha. So they figured they were free anyway - now let's go chuck 'em at the A"s house.

It is beyond me what the protesters are really getting out of this tho. I know their outrage, but I don't understand their way of showing it. To me, it would be so much more effective for these people to be out day and night hunting for Caylee in every park, dark area, or under every bridge until they find her. THIS is how to get justice for Caylee and put Casey where she belongs. Use that energy towards a positive result.

Did Nancy mention whether Yuri Melich flew to CA today? I read that he was injured this morning while training on his motorcycle.

4:08 p.m. The lead detective investigating the Caylee Anthony case was hospitalized overnight after breaking his leg.

Detective Yuri Melich, the investigator who told a judge in July that he believed Caylee Anthony was likely dead and her mother was the person of interest, was released this morning.

Absolutely! And stay in jail where she belongs, in my opinion. :behindbar
All the other times she was in jail, she was in isolation and away from all the other imates. I used to work for Parole and Probation and I can tell you that if CA gets in with those imates, they don't take highly to child abusers/killers. CA hasn't had "hard time" yet; those imates will straighten her up. If she hasn't been afraid yet, getting into the imate population ought to do it.

Yuri is now on indefinite medical leave. He will broke his leg in two places and will be laid up for awhile. Sgt. Allen said the case will continue without him and he will be missed. We have a thread for him here for well wishes, thoughts, and prayers. It is on a sticky at the top of the forum. :( http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71041

I feel bad for him. It must be very frustrating, as I'm sure he can't just "turn off" work just because he's not at the office. Hopefully, he'll still have some input.

Here's my take on the female security guard: She signed a confidentiality agreement and consulted an attorney to make sure she can disclose the information she has without jeopardizing the case and/or being sued by the A's for non-compliance. I'm sure there is red tape to jump through for both sides in order for her to talk.

Also, I believe that the reason LE is making the trip out to California is to get signed affidavits from Rob and from the female security guard to use in court. IMO, they are establishing a pattern of lies (no news to us, of course) regarding the events leading to Caylee's disappearance to present at trial.

You are so funny!
The visual that brought to my mind made me laugh loud enough to frighten the neighbors.

I feel so bad about Yuri Melich's injury, and I wish him a speedy recovery.

But he still has one leg, two hands, two arms and a good brain to continue to work on the KC case until it is resolved. What's the problem?:waitasec::crazy:

Go Yuri! Get well soon!

Did we ever find out what happened to the script?

I mean where is it & what did she do with it?

I think yorkie dogs ate it.

She destroyed it. Anyone remember Mission Impossible.

Back to the female guard. Why doesn't LE give her immunity so she can tell them what she heard?

Out of all the information today, LP saying that the woman guard that was with Casey has now got an attorney and the attorney won't let her talk, is one piece of new information that is REALLY bothering me!

The only thing I can think of is that this woman may have some information that's very important to LE, and she failed to tell them while in Orlando, and now she's afraid she will be charged with withholding evidence.

If she's got information that's vital to the investigation and could help find Caylee, she needs to talk. LE should give her immunity or something.

I wonder if this is why a detective and FBI agent have gone to California - to talk to her?

I am very curious about this female guard. I have never seen her. Has anyone? Did she accompany KC to JB's office at any time? I just don't understand how she flew under the radar with me.

I haven't had a chance to read the entire thread, so please excuse me if this has already been mentioned.

I waited to read the transcript of the show and this is what was said concerning the female bodyguard in the house:

PADILLA: In talking to her attorney today, he said he could not, in good conscience, allow her to discuss anything, specifically some things that Casey had told her regarding Caylee, without talking to their bosses tomorrow in Orlando.

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0809/18/ng.01.html

It's a bit mixed up, but I think Leonard was saying that LE would have to talk to their bosses in Orlando. He made it sound like the lawyer said it.

I'm thinking that they will offer her immunity and she will talk to them when the deal is made.

The video from the nursing home on fathers day confirms that Caylee was alive on the 15th but do the 400 page doc. contain any verification from the staff or any other witnesses that they saw Caylee there that day?

I'm just wondering because the date stamp on any video can be altered.

Yes, employees were interviewed by le and they confirmed that CA and Caylee were there on father's day.

The Guardian Angels organization started a long time ago. They're active in large cities, offering their services to help keep the piece or protect citizens.

Well, I did admire the Guardian Angels, but I have now emailed them and told them what I thought about them guarding the Anthony's.
