What I can't quite figure out though is how did she plan to survive in California without friends or family there to steal from? She'd actually have to get a good job in order to pay for an apt. and whatnot!

She'd head to the bar and shop for a new man/new friends and go from there. Very few of the people she partied with seemed to be close friends.

Try to put yourself in Casey's position for a moment.

Let's say she's killed her child and disposed of her body. How does she get away with it?

First, who does she have to worry about? Not any of her friends - they're all temporary anyway, and she can always tell them that Caylee is with the nanny, or her parents. They didn't seem to think there was anything amiss about that story, so she was OK there.

She had to have known that Amy would be livid about Casey stealing her checks even if she'd gotten away with stealing her cash, so Amy was used for what she could supply ($) and was otherwise disposable. Tony was fun, but he would have tied her to Orlando so his use to her was as a crash pad to keep her from having to go home. Disposable. Ricardo filled in with a crash pad when Tony inconveniently left town for a few days, and Jesse was used for his shower facilities. Disposable.

The biggest stumbling block was her family. No way would they believe her BS about a suddenly missing Caylee, and she couldn't dispose of them (although I wonder about that, what with the signing over of the mortgage story she was feeding her friends..).

Casey had to leave town, and make her parents believe that she had Caylee with her until she had enough distance between her and them to disappear.

Mark Hawkins was probably the only person she knows that is so far away from her parents' reach that it would buy her enough time to think of yet another story to explain no Caylee.

Maybe the stealing of Amy's identity (and having a copy of her resume) was also to be used to this end.

OMG ~ I hadn't thought of that because she sure was ruining Amy's credit by passing bad checks!

I saw that too, BUT I thought it meant the lady(security guard) at the house when she was released. BUT I could be wrong?

I read awhile ago, a poster comparing casey in cali to casey in Timbuktu. Both seem like far-away idealized places to people who've never been there.

I think she contacted him because she was outta here.

I'll tell you what I remember..it's been a long time since we discussed him. He had a myspace page Snowman. Supposedly KC told someone(can't remember who) that Caylee's dad was Brandon. When we went on KC's myspace way back when there were several flirty comments from 06 and 07..there may have been some 08 comments I don't remember. It was obvious he didn't live in Orlando b/c there were comments made by KC like "when are you coming home, I miss you"..blah blah blah. From the comments they "appeared to be hanging out/dating at some point" or possibly just doing the nasty..who knows LOL.

I can't remember if he was in the military or if he was away at school. It was a long time ago. I tried to search W/S under Snowman and I can't find much without searching through 30-page threads. We posted the myspace comments on here somewhere..all of them.

Thanks. I remember reading those comments but I thought she was talking about MH in California. I'll do some digging to find out what I want to see.

I'm worried tonight. Because since the cops are still checking out leads/storming homes for Caylee (alive) look alikes, that leads me to believe they don't have proper evidence and may be bluffing on the evidence!
Secondly, I knew LEE knows what happened. She confided in him, you can tell by his LIES.
I hope they make ALL the Anthonys go to the grand jury and they are called to the stand and questioned like crazy.
I cant wait to see if they lie under oath which is AGAINST the LAW!!!!
I am fed up with this whole family. Who the heck is this self absorbed! Ugh!

I can't wait to see Cindy squiggle and squirm on the stand trying to keep up with her lies. Man, just when I start to have a little sympathy for the GP's all I have to do is pull up the bond hearing and watch as Cindy pukes up lie after lie.

I believe this too. If a thread hasn't already been started on the topic I propose starting one entitled: "Has Lee Joined the Dark Side?"

I hope LE is doing a good job of following him. At this point I would not put it past him to move to a better place (i.e. body) or destroy evidence.

What has happened to him since the days of the first jail call home...so sad.

I don't think KC knows who Caylee's father is. I think she was telling this guy MH that she had something to tell him because she was trying to enlist his help to come to california. I think that she was going to out there and not come back.

I don't think she knows who the father is, either. I believe Rick, on this point.

Yeah, but I would just like to see NG harp on it a bit bc you know the Anthony's are watching. I think she should bring it up constantly and say- "If you believe someone took Caylee then help us get off our azz and find her- GIVE US A SKETCH!"

I think it would annoy the crap out of the fam and maybe they would come up w/a new story? Its time to leak a little more crazy out! :crazy:

YES!! LE has put out through a press statement and through SOURCES close to the investigation that Caylee is dead! If they are 100% sure that she is WHY DID THEY DO THIS MIDNIGHT RAID on this poor family? This tells me the EVIDENCE is not conclusive!

Read the article closely. It says the raid happened August 15th.
That was before the forensics were back and released.

She probably has it somewhere ......either on the sim card from the lost blackjack, or maybe she could access it somewhere on the internet.

Surely she has a copy of it somewhere.........She is ABSOLUTELY positive she would NEVER throw something like that out.
