And coincidently: I recall on his myspace page his status at one time was "jedi" which I was confused by for obvious reasons so I consulted urban dictionary.com.

Found out that it can mean someone who lives in their parent's basement. Which would make sense if he was playing detective full time or was living there to protect Casey (as she had just gotten out on bail).

I really wanted to like this guy, but alas it is not to be. :)

ummm, jedi and vador are star wars references....

My :twocents:

I think the car was abandoned with the purse in it with hopes that it would be stolen and/or to look like both Casey and Caylee were abducted.
Casey was hoping MH would supply her with a ticket to California and she would be gone. I don't think she ever planned on keeping in contact with her parents once she was out of Florida.
I think she wanted the car stolen to cover up the smell in it, like something else had happened after it was stolen which had nothing to do with Caylee's disappearance. I also believe it was a CD case that was left on the front seat according to LE. She couldn't say it was a carjacking by having TL pick her up from Amscot.

I just watched this on the NG repeat! :furious: :furious:
I've got her show on again too. I heard another name a few minutes ago ~ Shawn.

Once LE has enough evidence, I'll bet they can go for a Brain Fingerprinting. It is admissable in court. They put electrodes on a suspect's head and hook them up to a machine. Then they present evidence on the screen to the suspect that only that person would know and look for alterations in brainwave activity. There will be a definative reaction in a person who is guilty, as opposed to a person who is not. This way they can get beyond her lying.

I haven't heard of this before. LE can do this without the suspect's consent?

add to possible fathers: Someone whom Casey hasn't seen his folks since they were children. (Strange wording - but you know what I mean.)

Ryan
Byron / Bryson ??- NY marine/army ?? Myspacepage where KC took the photos of him when he was a young teen. ???

Yes, you can go to prison for lying to the FBI. :behindbar

and also for lying during an "official proceeding" under Florida law.

It's a misdemeanor if in an "unofficial proceeding" and a felony if committed during an "official proceeding." Testimony under oath, before a Judge, per the statute, qualifies to make it a felony. Belief that the lie is about a fact which is not material, is not a defense to the charge of perjury.
jmo but from the Fl stat.

Surely Casey would be smart enough to figure out that a charge like that could be traced and she would be located in Cali quite easily. Actually that is a question as I am never ceased to be amazed by her stupidity.

No idea, she was calling all these people--I wouldn't be phoning folks where I intended to run, especially knowing my phone bill went to my parents home.

She used her ID when passing off Amy's checks, there are camera's in most all stores, everybody realizes that. I think she feels she's bullet proof or some such. She doesn't seem to get nervous about much.

If she did have a passport, she would have had maybe up to a month before the charge was noticed. Perhaps Ricardo wouldn't do anything? She seemed to have the fellas pretty well wrapped.

Who knows with Casey, nothing she does makes sense to me. Other than I see she was selfish and a user and the ends always justify the means for her. Don't think she thought much outside of the realm of ME ME ME. jmo

Then I really want to know what she told them.

I would think they would have charged her by now.

Thanks for the details about Florida law. I knew it would be perjury under oath at a trial, but would the unoffical proceeding be like during questioning by LE?

While researching a crime, I woke up one morning and the phrase went through my mind: Breakthroughs in Forensics. I entered this on my computer and found Brain Fingerprinting. Just search Brain Fingerprinting on the computer. It's amazing.

Last I understood, it's not only used to prove guilt, but innocence and has helped in freeing some people unjustly imprisoned.

I think they can do it without the suspect's permission, but I'll bet it's a long process.

I don't think Baez would've let her tell them anything. MOO

I will look up the statute again and get us the definition of "official proceeding."

If LE has anything relative to perjury, they might be holding that card to use as a persuasion , later on. They seem to be a verrrry patient group.

Going to the law. BRB:blowkiss:

But Casey is the one who wanted to deal with them instead of LE.

Maybe Baez advised her before a meeting occured against it (if he was worth a darn he would have).

This is a link to a photo of Brian Snow w/ Casey.

(I don't know how to just insert a photo...)

I heard LP mention Brian Snow tonight but I can't remember in what context. Can anyone fill me in? What connection does Brian Snow have to all this? I heard LP say he went to North Carolina and he was in the Army (?) Is this one of the possible baby-daddies?

I think that's exactly what happened! He certainly wouldn't have wanted her talking to them ~ or anyone! MOO

Can I ask...and please don't attack me for this...if LE is so sure that they have a murder on their hands, then why are they knocking on doors at all hours to follow up on live sightings? I am more confused than ever.

That may have happened before the evidence came back relative to decomp, hair etc.
LE did this over a month ago but we were just told about it today. If I remember correctly as I am a tired WS addict. :blowkiss:

The sighting being reported today actually happened over a month ago.
