I'm thinking maybe she calls the first time to get permission to record, then calls back with the recording device actually turned on? Hopefully, that's what she's doing. As I continued to read back from the beginning of the thread, looks like some posters found info on the laws for FL and interstate phone calls that indicates she needs permission.

I think Nancy was extremely restrained (well...for Nancy, anyway). I felt like she was just chomping at the bit, fighting with herself whether to go after Cindy with all she could throw at her (a lot!) vs. restraint for a grandmother of missing child. She was holding back BIG time, IMO -- and again, speaking in terms of Nancy's usual style.

I think the law in the state where the call is received applies. In this case, Florida's two-party notification requirement controls-- meaning, this call likely recorded unlawfully.

I wonder what her PI has turned up? Let's remember LE (Orlando) does have other work they need to tend to. If she's so convinced that there was a sighting in Texas, why didn't she fly there and check herself? I'm tired of the family blaming everyone else for their daughter.

Why didn't she CALL all the media in Texas AND local LE to get them involved ASAP?

And where is her SPOKESMAN? Is he still around OR do we need to check the trunk of Casey's car?

Someone mentioned this the other day, about Caylee possibly not being toilet trained, and this makes me so sad. Her life was too chaotic to even be trained for the toilet. And Cindy talks about her like she's a dog... peeing on the playhouse, peeing on everything. Pathetic.

Not in defense of CA but my son was almost 5 before we got him potty trained.

I agree in part but think it's counterproductive telling everyone what they're not doing. The message gets lost then.

I know, it's true. But imagine their frustration, on top of their fears for their granddaughter. I'm sure if they knew where to look they would go there themselves. All they know is the people indicated by Casey, the description she gave the police of this woman, and the tips that come in. I can understand that any parent would be frustrated when the police said straight out on the first day of the investigation, in the recorded conversation with Casey, that due to the inconsistencies/incoherence of her story, they believed that she was lying and that all they wanted was for her to come clean and tell them what awful thing had actually happened, no matter what it was. They were basically saying, right from that first day, we believe that Caylee is dead and not kidnapped and you need to come clean. We won't listen to your version anymore. That's got to be so frustrating for the grandparents, maybe they believe Caylee really was left with some woman by this description, even though Casey can't give a clear or coherent account or more details.

with all due respect---i just have to say if you don't like NG or her tactics---then don't watch the show!!!there are plenty of other stations that are available for you to watch!i guess i just don't understand all the complaints about her when there are things such as remote controls!!i don't mean to offend anyone---promise!!JMHO!!

It's not a matter of which TV show to choose to watch at 8:00 PM.

We WANT to watch NG to get information about this case.

NG's behavior appalling. That type of rudeness is not allowed in our home or by our family. We can't tolerate witnessing it displayed by someone on the TV, either, so we do turn the channel.

However, after last night we decided not to even tune to the NG show tonight.

Thanks for your obvious, good suggestion, but we will continue to feel free to criticize bad behavior.

Hey seagull65 (Cindy) - you said on NG it's too dangerous for LE to know who has caylee, so why would you want to send the public out to look for her?

Excellent question. If LE did what she wanted by posting the 1500 leads they've gotten, can you imagine the mayhem?

I honestly don't see where anyone thinks Nancy treated Tim badly!

I thought she was very rude, as usual. The man wanted to say something about his thoughts on the case, but she cut him off. I sent her an email telling her so. I also let her know what I thought of the mockery of LP on last week's show. That's my opinion and I'm stickin' to it.
