Maybe I've missed something in trying to read everything related to this case, but has anyone been able to question any of the people who rode on the bus to FL with EJ to know if she even got off the bus in FL with the backpack? I would imagine that a white girl who would stand out would have attracted some sort of attention if anyone saw her get on the bus with the backpack/duffel bag, but didn't have it at her final destination.

Has anyone checked to see what stops that bus might have made during that trip, and if anyone noticed what EJ did during the stops (left the bus with the bag without returning with it, made phone calls, etc)?

IMHO, it just seems like there is a missing piece of the puzzle as to where GJ is to be found based on EJ's behavior on that trip from SA to FL.:waitasec:

Did she have an actual diaper bag or does she refer to her backpack as a diaper bag? Hopefully it is not in the landfill. The only "up" side to that is they will be able to find it if it is in there.

I thought the backpack and diaper bag are 2 separate things. In one of the pictures from the hotel room you can see a sort of tote bag in the background that I thought was commonly thought of as the diaper bag. Thought the backpack was separate from that.

My understanding is that the witness/video sighting of EJ going to get on the bus is that she had a large backpack with her. EJ's diaper bag seems to be a green tote bag, based on the hotel photos.

Has it been confirmed that the bag in the pictures is the diaper bag versus a regular tote bag?

I think it's just been an assumption, and I question it also. MOO

On the last episode on NG before tonights she mentioned LE was looking for the diaper bag which they believe to be the tote bag. She then showed a picture of the tote bag. It was not found in the room-according to NG.

(If these people even exist they may not be aware that they have a missing child. If they were truly duped by an sketchy agency and they paid the agency/broker and left with what they think is a child no one wanted and legal enough looking paperwork they may be in another state or country blissfully unaware.)

There are many in Texas that have not heard of Gabriel's disappearance, so it is possible if the couple is in this state or another they haven't heard.

GRACE: Listen, Andrew Scott. If they -- even if they know where the diaper bag is, and we`re honing in on the diaper bag because now cops are saying they want to find the diaper bag.

They`re putting out the APB, all person`s alert, on this diaper bag because mommy tells daddy on the phone, as well as texting him, but tell him on the phone, I killed the baby, I put him in the diaper bag, and I threw him in the trash.

All right. It would be that diaper bag.

Nowhere have I seen it confirmed that the bag in the photos is the same one that they are referring to as the diaper bag.

But I have been missing things like crazy, so I come with a hearty dose of salt at the moment.

Thanks for jogging my memory. I couldn't remember where I had heard that the assumption was that the tote bag was the diaper bag, which is where my understanding came from - of course, it was on NG when she talked about the photos from EJ's camera.:banghead:

My overall impression of the NG show tonight was that she and her guests feel it is a foretelling and huge indicator of what happened to Gabriel that EJ would write such awful things as those she wrote in her text to LM. I agree what she wrote was awful. I agree her texts were unusually cruel but in the same text she also says she is already boarding a plane out of the country which we of course know did NOT happen. If she lied about one part, it's likely she lied about the rest of it too. I'm sure she thought that would hurt LM and she was highly motivated to inflict pain on him but she was probably also thinking, in a sick way, that he would stop fighting her on the idea of adopting G out. IMO, every single thing that was communicated by EJ, and TS too for that matter, was done with an intent manipulate the response and to lead LE, LM and anyone following her or Gabriel down the wrong trail. I still believe the comment about putting G in the garbage was made to mislead LE and preoccupy their time with landfill searches while the underground adoption continued to move him further from the scene of the hand-off.

NG makes an hour out of a landfill search that we have known was coming for awhile while not giving anything new to the story. LE obviously has information that they do NOT want to share right now--perhaps to keep from compromising a sting on an illegal adoption ring, Gabriel's safety, or a human trafficking bust. I'm also sure some sort of fiscal forensic expert could help by taking a look at the situation and uncovering any unusual money matters in TSs, JMs CCs EJs life. If Gabriel is missing as a result of an illegal placement , and I truly believe that is what it will endup being, money changed hands. Look at the hostel records for the out of country travel she claimed to be about to make, if there's a deposit sitting somewhere, it might be there or as someone said earlier, it could be in TN at the Ss place. My mind thinks of all kinds of possibilities... storage units (along with missing laptops), safety deposit boxes, or even meet me at (you name the place). I think EJ duped LM but I suspect she was also duped by the Ss. You sure don't see NG exploring that idea.

Is the property receipt she had on her when she was arrested a record of something she left deposited at the hostel or somewhere else? The backpack? her laptop possibly, adoption paperwork? If she has a locker in a bus terminal anywhere along the route, sooner or later it will be emptied and any evidence will come out. OR... someone TS could already have recovered whatever was there.

NG has completely missed the boat on TPS. Her reporting is so subjective that it actually has almost no value. As a legal person, it's amazing she doesn't see she's missing a major part of the story! IMO

We won't see NG badmouth the Ss. It's a liability issue. Ever since the Duckett debacle, she has resisted going after involved parties until they are incarcerated. She now has her venom reserved for people who help her like the "unleashed lawyers", Drew Petromaulx, or Mark Klass. I thought she might let the callers call involved "guests" out but I think she's is having the calls screened to avoid possible lawsuits. It's not in her best interest that Gabriel be found quickly. The longer a case stretches out the more $$$$ she makes by exploiting it. I used to like her but, she has morphed into a barking harpy. Yap yap yap.

She didn't have a property receipt on her...they were talking about the property receipt that are issued when you are arrested/booked. They take an inventory of all items you have on you, cash, jewelry, bags, etc., then hold that property till you are released. Then they give it back to you along with the receipt so you can double check that it's all there.

I hope baby Gabriel is still alive. LE has left that possibility open, even though they are doing a massive search at the dumping fields where garbage from the motel that night is lodged, investigating his disappearance as a murder tonight.

Whatever may be, I give to him great love, especially if he has passed way before his time. And I give kudos to all those who have the duty of sorting thru all the garbage to find a sign of his body there. I hope Gabriel is found soon. xox

What an overwhelming, exhausting, grueling undertaking. Any woman who would first inflict the agony she has upon the father of her child, then put people thru this, I have no words at the moment... only prayers :prayer:

I remember on NG she showed the diaper bag (with a circle around it) and saying that is the diaper bag LE is looking for. I think it was green with white stripes. Hope that helps.

I hope tomorrow we will hear hes been found safe and sound. :praying:

Yep. I wonder where she got that info from. She sure churns out a lot of unsubstantiated, sensationalized carp.

The only new thing I saw in the show tonight was that Eliz was seen riding in a SUV with the Hispanic guy. And that was completely unsubstantiated.

It's all about ratings to her.

IIRC, the "stripes" were actually khaki colored and were the straps but extended down both sides of the bag like a typical tote bag.
Also, IIRC, Nancy was voicing that the bag was blue, but the picture and written description she showed while saying that, said GREEN. I never saw any updates on which was correct. Also, NG is the ONLY place I've seen this information. I have never seen a media or LE release about this bag.

eta: Sorry, NG has really distorted her reporting on this case (as well as others) and while I look into any new info she gives, it is only with a grain of salt until I hear the information from a more valid source.
