Jennifer said GK "may have owed someone money" ?

does anyone else seem to think this is just a big attempt to divert attention away from herself???

  • #122
And did you notice how Jennifer tried to make it sound like GK or his "girlfriend" may be involved ? A little jealousy going on there ?

Possibly. GK said he hadn't seen JB for a month prior to Nevaeh's disappearance.

Yes....maybe like conceiving his child after he was gone? ;)
Well, he might not be very bright but he seems more honest than she does. And she's the one with the home invasion conviction who hung out with RSOs. :) MOO

It's starting to sound that way.

Here's another case, just like the Anthony case. This mother seemed to show no emotion what so ever. She's lying about plenty, but what? also I thought the grandma had custody of the poor little girl, what does she know in all of this. What is going on all over this country??? all of these poor little kids with parents neglecting them, worrying more about their boyfriends. This has to stop!!!!!!

The grandmother had custody while Jennifer was in jail. When that changed, if it did, is unknown.

Guys,

Sorry to get a bit off topic but look, we are use to seeing professionals on TV talking. Be it a cop, or reporter right?

There are very few people, although we have seen them, who are anything but ready to have the national media spotlight thrown on them.

One of the few people that got the message out right from the beginning was Marc Klaas. Angela Ricci is another person who came across beautifully on camera and got the message out.

But this woman is not educated, is a felon, and God knows what else.

She will wilt and die under any sort of hard questioning like Nancy just did. And I don't think we can fault her too much for her behavior. She is anything but camera ready.

That's not to say we should be any less disgusted by her choices but I don't think we can expect her to take on these torpedos and not look bad.

Just My Opinion and sorry to go a bit off topic. Bad forum owner bad bad..:slap::slap:

While I think the mother made extremely bad decisions when it comes to Nevaeh, I wouldn't have sat there and keep getting drilled like that. I don't think NG would have expected her to sit there after the commercial after talking to JB that way. Why would anyone go on that show to be talked to that way?

I have to disagree. I would have sat there if I were innocent and the reason why is because until I proved my innocence, all eyes are on me and I want all eyes looking for the perp who did this to my child - the public's view can play a critical role here as LE often depend on information & tips from them in order to locate a perp.

Yes! Still catching up from earlier today but do I understand correctly that JB is pregnant and denied GK is the father? If so, who is and did he know Nevaeh? MOO

Okay, the mom is, at the very least, dumber than a post. I think what she was trying to say is that when they came home that day, mom went in the house and saw Neveah go to Austin's. Mom then sat herself on the couch to "think about dinner". Later, Neveah came home for a short time and then stated she was going back up to Austin's. Mom tried to hide the fact that she didn't watch to see that Neveah went back into Austin's home. I'm thinking she's starting to realize that her parenting style - allowing sex offenders around her child, allowing a five year old to play by herself outside, to go to and from people's homes, etc, is extreme neglect. Now dad is on. Similar type of parent. They should not have children. Can't handle the responsibility. Unfortunately, these types of parents are not uncommon. Mom strikes me as lazy, selfish and not smart. But her decision to allow her kid to be within a mile of a known sex offender is beyond the typical neglect we often see among some low income people who lack parenting skills. That strikes me as simply not giving a carp about her beautiful child.
If JB had nothing to do with the death of her daughter, I don't see how she would want to go on, knowing that her actions (or inactions) likely were directly responsible for her baby's death. This case and the cirucmstances around it needs to be highly publicized, and put on every news station, so that other parents like this can know what could result from their actions. JB is facing the ultimate for her actions and if she had nothing to do with her child's murder, I feel awful that she is paying such a high price for her stupidity and neglect and do not want to add to the misery of having a murdered baby. But Neveah paid a higher price, and she had no control - mommy did. JB was obligated to look out for her little darling. She failed in that obligation. I'm not as concerned with the fact that she didn't personally escort her daughter to and from a playmates house upstairs but her actions in associating with an RSO are unconscionable and for that, and in order for this case to help prevent similar cases in the future, I'm sorry, but that mother needs to be charged with child endangerment and neglect.

I have a feeling that JB is reconsidering hiring a lawyer, now.

I know I'm missing this from another thread, but bio-dad was 17 when Nevaeh was born. How old is JB now?

JB got the exposure she deserved..

First wants to show she is brave, has nothing to hide to 'clear her name', and then walks out, because cannot handle the pressure.

Something is clearly wrong with her, and with her stories..

I can't blame Nancy for going off on JB, but I wish she'd played nice until after dragging more information out of her.

After what happened with the Duckett 'mom' I'm kinda surprised she took this same approach even tho she deserved every bit of that attack on her lifestyle/credibility..That other similar situation didn't even dawn on me until after she walked out..It's possible it didn't register with NG either.

I think he was just nervous, especially after seeing how Nancy grilled Jennifer. I couldn't help but chuckle though when he said he left before his daughter was conceived. I wish Nancy had given him more time.

Nope, it is new.
I don't think JB knows what mothers normally do to supervise their kids.
She keeps trying to adapt this story when she gets assaulted by the public saying "your daughter was riding her scooter unsupervised?" well I didn't know she was riding the scooter, "You didn't know where your child was at all?!?!", well, she didn't go where she said she would, i trusted her, she lies you know, "you never checked on her?", well I watched her walk to the door.

I am sorry I think this mother was absolutely involved in whatever happened.

yeah after seeing this interview im really thinking she was involved, she probably thought by going on ng she was going to sway public oppinion her way and now it did just the opposite!! guess she doesnt know NG too well huh?

She will wilt and die under any sort of hard questioning like Nancy just did. And I don't think we can fault her too much for her behavior. She is anything but camera ready.

Very well said, Tricia. Maybe she should've just declined the invitation to be on Nancy's show since she isn't ready for prime-time. I also think there's a little problem with the truth, but that's MOO. ;) Also, Mark Lunsford wasn't ready for the camera either, but he was telling the truth so he never ran away from the media because his missing daughter was most important.

I can understand her being nervous and even defensive. But the constant changing stories? I don't understand that. I don't even think she's involved but I have to wonder why she would suddenly come up with the story about watching Nevaeh enter the apartment upstairs when she's said all along that she didn't.

It looked like Jennifer tried to "soften" her appearance tonight, hair pulled back, pink shirt, but there's nothing she can soften about her personality...I am still breathless over the "she lies" comment.

"She lies" in FBI profiling is an attempt to blame the victim. Not a good sign.

The tattletale neighbor girl who told her about Nevaeh riding her scooter in the street. Tattletale? Damn sorry to interrupt you from laying on the couch mom thinking about what to fix for dinner. She lies about being hungry? GMAB

Walking out of the show? WTH!

ETA: Morphing stories
