From what I have read, I understand that Nevaeh's father was only 17 at the time of Nevaeh's birth.

Doesn't this make JB a pedophile since she would have been 19 at the time?

"I looked everywhere," she said. "I spent at least 45 minutes looking."

She said she told the apartment manager her daughter was missing, circled the building and came around the other side, where she found the purple and green scooter Nevaeh often rode.

"My heart sank," she said, "and my stomach went into knots."

Somebody called the police, and an Amber Alert was issued.

I put this comment on the other thread and rather than repeat it I brought it over...

I know I'll be bombarded, but I want to say this about Jennifer! Why is it that so many people need to cast guilt and blame on her? This young woman (24yo) has just lost her child in the most horrible of circumstances...yes, she was guilty for not following her child upstairs, downstairs, and outside, but how many mothers do the exact same thing? I don't see ANY benefit in continuing to discuss why and how Jennifer is guilty...I want to discuss how and why beautiful Nevaeh was found in concrete! Children disappear from their beds, from rich people, poor people, educated, intelligent, and uneducated and low IQ...there are NO barriers protecting children from pedophiles, murderers, or abuse...all children are vulnerable. You can talk about what constitutes 'good mothering' all you want, and each of us would have different perspective.

...is there any such thing as the perfect mother? We view mothering from our own vantage point, our role models, lifestyle, IQ, education, status, and ability to make, what we feel, are good JUDGEMENTS...and the like. The NG interview was a disgrace to everyone who wants to support a grieving mother who is in agony and is feeling guilt. Jennifer has managed to live her life with the defenses of denial and minimization - maybe that's how she, herself has survived. Her child was found encased in CEMENT...a crime more like the mafia rather than a pedophile....she has to deal with this tragedy in the best way she knows how. My thought about Jennifer are based on her innocence of murdering her daughter...in my heart I don't think she is involved!!!

I realize that and I do feel bad for her, who wouldnt? But maybe I would have more sympathy if it looked like she even gave a **** about her child while talking on public newscasts. Sorry My Oppinion Only..

Incredibly JB has made more "victim blaming" comments/statements toward her 5-year-old child from the onset of this case while she carefully words her comments/statements about her SO boyfriend/friends hoping that they don't hold it against her . . .Nevaeh never stood a chance. Her own mother, after her death, publicly assassinates this poor child's character. Yes, JB needs to shut the FU at this point - the only thing that she's accomplishing at this point is enraging me! :rage:

Gads...yes! You are so right! JB has been SO over the top pro GK til tonight...but her daughter? No...she comes and goes, isn't where she said she would be (she is 5..5!) and lies...and mom has to cook dinner...

I wanted to try and watch it again. I am not sure now if she was referring to the tattle tale girl when she talked about her good friends daughter tonight.

It really sounded like she had anger towards Nevaeh and I don't understand that a bit. I have more questions than answers now.

Even in earlier interviews it sounded like Nevaeh was a nuisance and she was angry that Nevaeh had been reported riding her scooter in the parking lot. Not so much, imo, that Nevaeh could get hurt but that she had to get up and go look for her, calling the little girl who supposedly told her a tattletale. It's all in the language ~ says so much, imo.

I think it is plain to all of us that the mother did not check on her daughter at all. Nevaeh grabbed the popsicle and told her mom she was going upstairs and that's that.

She was all over the road tonight trying to show everyone that she is not a bad mom, that she did check on her child, when in reality I would bet Nevaeh had the run of the place whenever she wanted.
That is EXACTLY the picture im getting....

LOL Yea, he might have confused the words conceived and born. He is just very young it seems and of Jennifer's ILK to a lesser degree. Do you know if he has a record Panthera?

Not to mention nervous, I am sure. Believe me, he's kicking himself now. If he didn't realize the mistake then, I am sure someone has pointed it out by now.

What it looked like to me was that she was too damn lazy to get off her fat arse and check on the child...

Having someone else call 911 is another FBI profilers check box. I wish Kant was here, she's a pro at this stuff.
