bold is mine. ITA Believe! I also think that Nancy, having those prosecutor bones, really blew that interview. She wasn't trying to get NEW information.. she was trying to twist any and all of the old information that existed. The part about the sunset proves this! Jennifer said nine or nine thirty and Nancy says eight fifty five... come on... that is just crazy.

I really wish nancy would have had on her "police hat" last night instead of her worn out prosecutor one! She could have gleaned so much by being sickly sweet and understanding to Jennifer.

In my opinion, Nancy didn't have her worn out prosecutor's hat on during that interview. She had her "mother" hat on.

Aside from Nancy's other faults, bullying, mean, shrill, vindictive, name calling (no one else could come up with calling an American criminal defendant 'tot mom' 1000 times a day and get away with it), she also seems to have a particular affinty for picking on poor people, or anyone below her socio-economic status. For example in the crucifying of the murdered girls mom last night, she button holed her with...who watches your daughter when your not watching her for a 1/2 hour...she asked the stunned dead girls boy father if he was current on his child support (what's that got to do with murder)...Of course neither of these hopeless deer caught in Nancy's headlights had any reply.
Good questions to fire back at Nancy would've been...who watches your kids when you don't for 12 hours every day putting yourself and your multi-$million career way ahead of them...and gee Nance...are you current on paying your taxes on all those millions you make?
But of course Nance would never interview anyone who would ever dare talk back to her Queeness as an equal like that.

Say what you will about NG, but if I needed someone to prosecute my case (and had a choice in whom that would be), she'd be my first pick.

I sure hope Nancy Grace and everyone else are right...that a friend of Nevaeh's mom, or George Kennedy or Roy Smith did it...like she and everyone else has said for 2 weeks. Because if they're all cleared and a total stranger did it, as I think seems likely...she and everyone will sure owe all 3 of them the hugest APOLOGY. I can't believe Nancy Grace actually screamed out that George Kennedy was a 'rapist' last night, which of course is not the fact. It seems this would open her up to a zillion dollar lawsuit.
If these people are all proved totally innocent...then what..their lives, reputations, have been ruined, they've been humiliated and demonized on national tv for weeks, on top of having their kid murdered...all so someone like NG can get rich, and people can be entertained.
If they are innocent I hope they sue everyone for slander, libel, defamation of charicter, emotional distress and anything else they can add. If Nancy's WRONG she has a lot of money, and IMO they should get every penny of it.

you know this raises an interesting point. It was reported that grandma had legal custody of Neveah because of her daughter's criminal record. I know they all lived together, but if she petitioned for legal custody, she would have more responsibility than the daughter herself for her granddaughter's custody. So why wasn't grandma supervising her if she knew her daughter was not capable.

I agree. If JB and all her SO friends had nothing to do with NB's disappearance and death they are all owed apologizes. The way NG treated JB was no way to treat someone who just lost her daughter and wanted to clear up rumors surrounding her.
However, if JB is involved then she deserved all she got and more. My own opinion is that there is something there. I really think it's more then a coincidence that JB had SO friends and her daughter goes missing. What are the chances that there is no relation? I just feel that JB handed her off to someone. I would really feel better if someone could confirm that the child was seen after 3:30pm. Other then a child. JB said that she saw NB go up the the friends apt. the first time and then she came back and changed her clothes but I thought the friends family said the last time they saw NB was 3:30 when JB came back to take her to the store. I know LE knows more about this case then I probably ever will but it would really help if we knew when then last time a credible adult saw this child.

I don't want to be a nag, but we are going to be really sorry later, when there's an arrest and trial and appeal, etc., if we don't start categorizing things we find out into separate threads. We'll never be able to find important posts buried among thousands of others.
Don't be shy about starting a thread. Seems like the burial site would make a good thread. So would the background of Jennifer and each of the people surrounding her. A separate thread to discuss the evidence would help, too. Oh, and a rant thread!
Please, please, spread out. I already can't find things posted this morning!

I haven't read this whole thread. I thought NG went a little overboard last night (particularly about the time the sun set that day) however, I thought JB deserved quite a bit of it. GK IS a rapist, by definition of the law. Plain and simple. JB was negligent, at best, in her 'care' of her preschool daughter.

I was particularly struck by how JB seemed to perk up and seem almost righteous when talking about the time the sun set that day. It seemed to me that that was the only time she actually seemed to know what was happening. Otherwise, she hemmed and hawed her way through the interview creating more to the story and changing things. Honestly, JB ticked the heck outta me...way more than NG did. If JB is not involved in her little girl's death (and I don't think she is involved directly), I don't think she is owed an apology at all. Quite the contrary, she should be charged for negligence and endangering a child by knowingly introducing to two RSO's into her short and innocent life. I am so saddened for Nevaeh. I think it is Nevaeh who is owed an apology from her mother. Too bad she's dead and will never be able to hear it or accept it or even recognize the fact that it is owed to her. I think that Nevaeh is really the only victim here (maybe GM too but I have mixed feelings about her). Such a sad end to such a short life. Makes me sick.

I do not see where any apology is deserved for a mother who would knowingly have a sexual predator as a "father figure" to her five year old daughter and sexual predators who were violating their probations by having relations with a mother with a child and being around a child. They are disgusting and definitely not innocent. These people could not be innocent if they walked on water. If Nevaeh had been found safe at some neighbors house, the mother would still be guilty of allowing sex predators to be with her daughter and the predators would still be guilty of having relations with a mother with a child and for being a part of that child's life. Nothing changes those facts! Innocent, they are not. Apologies, NOT!

I agree. But this mother (so-called) seems to be enjoying the attention, media and cameras. Her emotions when she appears to be crying are almost forced. Hate to say it but where is the love for her daughter and what her daughter endured during her last few hours on earth?

I used to love Nancy because she is such a victims advocate. It just seems that she ran the Casey A. thing into the ground. I can hardly stand to hear the words 'tot mom' anymore. I wish she would go back to being like she was a couple of years ago.

Nancy needs to be more humble, imo. She cuts her guests and talking heads off too much. There are times when the person she cuts off is saying something I find interesting.

JB did lie last night, imo. I also expect that she will be answering some questions from LE today. LE and the FBI are having to get a clear timeline on exactly when Nevaeh disappeared and JB is not much help with that if her story keeps changing. I pointed out in the Casey A. Case that the truth remains constant and you should be able to tell it the same way day after day and time after time. I pointed it out where Misty is concerned in Haleigh's case. Why can't JB just tell the truth? She has to know that this makes her look suspicious.

I believe that JB knows what happened to Nevaeh. This friend Holly is aware of JB's ever changing story, imo. I could almost see it in her face on Nancy last night.

I certainly do not know what happened to Nevaeh, but whatever it was, it began with JB not caring what this poor child was doing.

NG really went after JB in the interview but I'm sure I wasn't the only one cheering her on. Granted, I'm not that much of a tiger that I could have kept badgering her, pushing her, needling her but that's why she got the job. Also, I've noticed she's become much more emotional and protective since having her twins.

If it had been me under the verbal barrage that NG was doing I would have been a blubbering idiot - tissues flying, sniffling, crying, wailing - but she was pretty stoic and tough and this from a mother(?) with a dead child.

We are on the same page nurse...I think with a little honey it could have been an interesting interview-IIRC she treated Haleigh Cummings Dad with kid gloves....that might have been pretty effective. Then again, Nancy is a human being who does her show her way-she might have been to hot to nail JB for being "stupendous" as my kids say (a substitute for the uglier word).

IMO JB and friend should have removed their mikes, stood up and left the show immediately when NG started arguing about what time the sun set. NG was clearly wrong on this one, but still went on with her nastiness and took it one step further by stating that JB said it set at 10 pm, which she never said. I don't know why JB ever agreed to this interview. She obviously doesn't know what NG is all about.

Nancy would not be allowed to behave in a court room the way she does on her show. Sometimes she makes herself look foolish, for instance arguing about what time the sun sets in Michigan when it has absolutely no bearing on anything. She did the same thing in the Caylee case when she insisted that a 2 year old child would wear a size six dress.
