Nancy Grace married and pregnant with twins??

I am happy for her too I dont care for her personality all the time on tv but I like her shows and her passion. Odds are she will have a healthy pregnancy with a healthy baby. I know alot of women dealing with infertility that have babies after 40 and their babies are fine, both of my grandma's did before technology. Most of our friends who dont have infertility are opting to wait till around 35 and up to have children. By the time you get through college, buy a house, pay back student loans, and feel you are financially able to take care of kids it can take quite a while. I had my daughter at 31 and I was the youngest of our friends to have a child.

Also to paladin- just because someone is not your type of person to marry doesn't mean others do not see the special personality and beauty in them. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". I am sure others would turn you down too.

I LOVE Amy Poehler's impression, I think she is the best thing about SNL right now!!
I have wondered what NG thinks about it, she seems to have a sense of humor, maybe she is laughing with us.

I actually think that she has become more animated (and, sorry, a little more obnoxious) since SNL and other shows have featured her. I think that a Law and Order or some show like that had someone on there or on their television imitating her.

I do not think that her persona on television is how she is in real life. Each of the personalities on television or radio act a certain way to get you to watch or listen to them, IMO.

I think that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. She probably enjoys it! I know that I would get a kick out of people imitating me.

That was on Boston Legal and the character was called "Gracie Jane". An old flame of Denny Crane's (William Shatner), Gracie Jane was a rather obnoxious courthouse reporter. Shatner wanted something from her (I forget what) and he ended up taking her into a conference room. In a later scene someone opened the door to the conference room and there were Denny Crane and Gracie Jane going at it on the table!

In a later episode Gracie Jane was killed by a serial killer who has also killed a judge who was a neighbor of his. He pretended to be a big fan, invited her over to his house for a drink, then snuck up behind her and whacked her on the back of the head with a shovel!

Okay am I stupid? If she was born in 1958, she turns 49 this year. Someone corrected the one who said she was 48 going on 49 and said she was turning 48 this year, but unless the 1958 birth year is wrong, my head AND my calculator say she'll be 49 this year.

I used to love Boston Legal, but then it got way to liberal left for me. My goodness, I didn't realize that Gracie was killed on the show! The killer wasn't that little guy named Bernard (or something) that first murdered his mother (the one that Alan didn't want to defend but his assistant, Betty White, befriended him).

Remember Denny Crane and Denny Crane (Jr.)... Denny Crane... Loved it...That's all he had to say in court.

I want to send NG an email to her show congratulating her! She even acted nice on her show tonight. She was not overly pushy and didn't really interrupt anyone.

I think I'm the one that hit on the fact that she is "turning 49" this October... while Wikipedia is questionable on facts, they do give her a birthday of 1958... but so does IMDB and they seem to be pretty accurate with their profiles. So, I think it's pretty safe to say she will be 49 come Autumn.

No, the killer of Gracie Jane on Boston Legal was a taller, thin snarky kind of guy who lived next door to a female judge who was murdered. His character came across as being snoopy, sarcastic, and gay. Eventually he kidnapped Shirley Schmitt (Constance Bergen) and held her hostage.

Now after remembering all of that, I cannot remember if they killed him off or what. I know Shirley was released from captivity, shaken but unharmed.

I too love the Denny Crane character, but ALAN (James Spader) is my absolute favorite!

I agree her pic in the other posts aren't happy but on her show she was glowing. She looked healthy and happy. I hope this is a continued thing. We never know but we hope. Hugs to you j2mirish...just because you are you.

I'm happy for Nancy and hope for the best during her pregnancy and delivery, but selfishly hope that she doesn't leave her show. There won't be much of anything left to watch if she leaves.
