This whole thing about Caylee getting off the table, we've discussed a million times! He said he got the date wrong at first and he said he THOUGHT she told Caylee to get off the table. It's called shorthand between friends. Filling in the blanks. Which KC probably deliberately did to him. "Get off the table" she said. And he filled in the blanks. Maybe she said "Get off the table, Caylee" or maybe she didn't say "Caylee". She could've been talking to the cat. Or she could've been talking to the air. The point is she knew JG would ASSUME she was talking to Caylee. That's the point. JG didn't think it was all that important at the time and so he forgot the date. Geesh.

Also, Turbo... can a defense attorney just boot off a Judge? This makes me so sad because I love Strickland. Sigh. I hope they get someone a hundred times tougher, then. Like the Judge on the OJ trial. She was TOUGH.

When my ex husband took me back to court to reduce his child support, we had one judge that was really leniant, ticked me off - what can you do right? Well the case was extended because he didn't have some documents - the judge we usually had wasn't scheuled for that day and we got this other judge that basically slapped my ex up oneside down the other - it was great! I didn't say one word - it took my ex one sentence to get a higher amount to pay -

What I'm saying is - one judge is good, the next BAM! not in my courtroom! But then again it could go the way of someone who is real leniant in their courtroom - so we at least have a 50/50 chance right?

They are not using it as a defense, they are using it according to the lawyer used for the DP in kc's case to explaine the behavior after her daughter went missing, not the reason for.

:D That was my point. I read a post farther up that seemed to think it could relate to an insanity plea. We'll keep them on track together!

Trac, I am really glad your attempt didn't succeed. :blowkiss:

Thats sweet, thanks - and yes I'm gladI didn't succeed either - too much in life to experience!

According to KC it's somebody's "psycho ex-wife"

And who better than KC to determine someone who is "pyscho"?

Pot calling the kettle black!

I came out of lurking because this is more than likely what happened to Caylee.

Unless any of you have lived with a person with similar traits that KC exhibits, you can not fathom this happening. I can unfortunately.

The car holds the answers and will be disclosed during the trial. No one needs KC to tell the truth because Caylee will do it for her at trial. All this other stuff is just that, stuff. We are voyeurs into the A's life, what life there is now.

If anything, this case tells everyone that behind closed doors, there is no normal all the time. NG to some maybe rude, but in her own way, she gets the answers she is looking for, that we are looking for.

I agree with this as well. Also, if Cindy and Casey are fighting...Caylee is probably going to go to Cindy before Casey (imo) and this could have just sent Casey right over the edge...She didn't want to leave her with Cindy so stormed out the door with Caylee who was crying for Cindy and probably did for a while.

She was still manic in the tapes but that was a long time ago. The crying and giggling had nothing to do with guilt, it is her just beginning to crash. She was sliding down the other side of her manic peak. Remember we have no idea whether she has hit a depression or not, no one has video taped her in months. She has a couple of shrinks to talk to and who can medicate her for her bi-polar problems, if she wishes. Believe me, if she is bi-polar, the shrinks caught it right away. It does not matter in the long run, she is not criminally insane and I do not think that this lawyer brought it up as a tip on what defense to expect.

He was hired for one purpose, to prepare and argue that this case was not appropriate for capital punishment. He won that. He is not involved in any other aspect of the case.

Although I have never believed GA's story about the morning of the 16th, I finally gave in because JesseG recalled hearing Caylee in the background in a call he made to KC, he was driving somewhere and it was at 2:30pm-ish on the 16th. I know he had earlier stated that it was on the 24th when they talked about his lost job but after getting his cell records, he realized it was the 16th and that they talked for 12 minutes or so.

LP cracks me up with his little tid bits. I would like to know why he puts the TOD at 1:30-2:00am on the 16th. What is this based on? Wasn't KC texting on her cell phone all night long with TonE and TRusciano? Was she chloroforming Caylee as she texted about the snothead being passed out? Perhaps GA meant he last saw them at 12:50am on the 16th, when he was catching the news after returning home from work. :o And JesseG realized that he couldn't have heard Caylee in the background because KC was in her car, driving to the A house and her car has no tables! :o

Did she really say she passed her Psych. Eval. with flying colors? I am so sure! And I bet Baez was just delighted to hear that. Was she trying to impress her parents with how hard she studied to make such a good grade? Unbelievable.

I think she should take the meds. They will make prison so much easier to bear.

Hee hee. I have a friend who's going through the same thing right now. Her ex deliberately chose a custody evaluator he thought was lenient and then at the last minute realized he'd made a mistake. Too late! Out of the six on the list (3 her choice and 3 his) the Judge chose the one he tried to remove. And he's in big trouble. So yeah, you never know.

I have a feeling if JB requested Strickland's removal he's gonna be sorry. No judge in his/her right mind will look upon this case in a sympathetic way. At least Strickland was a gentleman and tried to help JB along. Next one might not be so kind. Fingers crossed... fingers crossed...

Don't you think KC is capable of psyching JG out? I DO.

You know Indi - there says a lot about hitting rock bottom - some of us pull ourselves out and it may take awhile to figure it out yet we do and we never give in - unfortunately some don't see anything good and continue to fall

We are survivors (and no we did not get voted off the island!)

The DP lawyer for the perp says that they argued bipolar as "mitigating circumstances". This is what I don't get- it sounds as if he is saying their argument was successful and that's why DP is no longer an option. Is this really why the DA dropped the death penalty? Because if it is, the prosecution has accepted that the perp has bipolar and for argument's sake, wouldn't that be a slippery slope? What am I missing?

LOL I didn't see a cent until about a month ago - he is over $107,000 in arears and my youngest will be 18 next year - we've been in the system since 1991 and saw bits of money through the years - I guess he figures now he might as well pay he'll never get out from under the 107k

*sigh* The "get off the table" conversation was on the 24th, not the 16th. It has nothing to do with the day Caylee disappeared.

Cindy most likely fed Caylee on time, even before she knew she would be hungry. Put Caylee to bed at a reasonable hour, and never waited to change her diaper. Cindy most likely put Caylee first, something her mother could never do. Cindy was the preferred caregiver, and that is the crux of the poor baby's demise.

I didn't hear that part - the only problem I have with that statement is that they could not have had an extensive psychiatrist evaluation from both the defense and prosecution - I'm sure in pre-trial the judge will order one and then the psychiatrists will tesify in trial - the defense didn't have a psychiatrist on their list of witnesses did they?

No. It was not. He was mistaken and he said so.
