I have even wondered if KC didn't do herself a disservice by linking her imaginary Zani to a real person. By doing that she has dispelled all doubts that she is telling the truth. So she's caught in her own lie. If she had just stuck with the unfounded and unidentifiable Zani, Zanny, or nanny she would not have run up against the brick wall she has now. For example, there is still some question about that guy she said referred her to the nanny--because no one has been able to come up with a person with his same name. (Sorry, I can't remember it now, but the ones LE have found don't have the same middle name that she claimed.) If she hadn't tried to connect her with a "real" person there would have been a small question. It couldn't have been as dis-proven as it is now.
Why would she have gone through all the trouble to do this if it wasn't to her advantage?

Don't know about FL regs.........not on TX regs.

While inserting the maiden name (alot) in the hispanic community is common, most that have been here awhile don't in everday life........This (real) ZG seems not too........however, if her license were ran (LE) it would prolly still show up.

Any FL gals....your maiden name on your DL ??? or car registrations ?? (automatically)

Yep she joked about it w/Amy. This has been my working theory since the beginning -Zanny(Xanax) the nanny was a joke- though she may have used that on the child (or something similar)- it wasn't frequent. I've had to update my theory to accomodate the real life ZG and other special Casey twists but basically- I agree w/you- she had to backfill her story along the way and she seems to have thought people would believe her.

In LA's intv I thought it was very telling when he told her the cops would make her take them to Caylee- he (and the cop) described her reaction as shock and a slap of reality for her. That's when she had to stop and admit something... (like- ok, I don't really work at Universal) so she took a deep breath and out poured all of her elaborate, ever-changing and overly detailed tales.

Thank you. I thought it was Amy that she joked with. I still haven't connected the dots between her internet searching and Sawgrass - there's still a missing piece, a very important missing piece.

another thought....if her licence was run by LE, not only would her full name be run but also her address..........all this info could be brought up to by simply running her plates....then you'd get name, DL info, address....

with the address you could then "stake out" & follow

I believe hispanics only use the hyphen....from birth I think girls are listed....(first) (mothers maiden)-(fathers last).... then when they marry I think it's...... (first) (fathers last)-(new hubby).

Hmmmm.......KC has been known to lie.

KC prolly wouldn't have identified any (real) person they showed her a pic of.

KC (I don't think at first) never intended to implicate anyone, all her 'bad guys' she pieced together, that way they could commit their crimes and vanish, without a trace.........

Pretty hard for cops to catch bad guys that never existed.

IIRC, either Amy or Ryan stated something like "everyone that knows Cindy, knows she doesn't allow hispanics into her house.

Could be that the name Zannie started as a joke and then she made the decision to kill Caylee. But first, she needed to check the news/internet for any current crimes going on that would fit her story.

In June, the jogger is found dead at Jay Blanchard (by the way, feel free to move this post if it belongs somewhere else) and boom. Caylee likes Jay Blanchard, the jogger is hispanic (name Ganguzza). She was looking for a name with a "Z" in it. The story is born.

I just wonder how long she has planned this? I wonder if it was 2 years ago when Trenton Duckett became missing and she was wanting to do something, would she have chosen that time to make it look like someone was abducting kids?

IMO, I think she was just looking for opportunity. She already had motive - her freedom to party. After the jogger, she found the opportunity.

wftv earlier uncovered that there was a Zenaida in her homeroom and another student with Gonzalez. With all the weaving home girl has done with her other lies it is not a stretch of the imagination to think she may have been spinning this Zanny $hit since she first started lying about having a job. She has been lying about it since 2006! She is not new to lying and she is damn good at it.

I think my biggest problem with her lying about her job......was in George's interview when he states he knew that she was lying about her job and knew she was sending herself emails pertaining to fake jobs from one computer in the house to the other.

WHY DID HE LET HER LEAVE ALL THE TIME WITH CAYLEE....when he KNEW she was not making money to pay for a nanny and not stop her and press her on where she was going with his grandchild. Secondly, why didn't he share that with his wife? And if he did share it why did Cynthia lie about it.

This is the strangest group of people I have ever witnessed in action. They have a whole nation following the plight of their grandchild and all they can do is lie and contort things... How can they possibly think this is really helping?

My feeling is that Casey was allowed to get away with her lies and deceptions because George and Cindy didn't want to upset the applecart ... they didn't want to lose Caylee. But ... they did, anyway. There wasn't any way to repair their true relationship with Casey, imo.

Seems like the last straw for G&C might have been the theft of money from Cindy's parents. Then they grew some baxxs, sort of, ... but it was way too late.

Obviously KC "pieced" together a nany, then she 'pieced' together, family, & roomates, & history for them ......sounded better when she spoke of them .

Then when whatever KC did to Caylee came about, KC had instant 'bad guys' to blame it on...

I would imagine it's very hard for LE to track & capture 'bad guys' that never existed.

I am sure this must have come up before, sorry if I am repeating, but the only reason that I can see CA and GA protecting and covering for KC the way that they are is that she must have something on them that she is threatening to divulge. Something illegal that they did, either presently or in the past, especially CA and to a lesser degree GA. I just wonder what it could be? I don't think it has anything to do with incest, or child molestation either.

I know it's getting really late and this is going to really sound of the wall....but, gotta ask..

If you say the following out loud: "she's at Annie's" or "she's with Annie", does it sound like "she's with Zannie" to you??? I know, it's weird. But I was just thinking, people were probably always asking KC, "where's Caylee," and it could have started sounding like she was saying "she's with zannie" to others.

Maybe that's how "zannie the nannie" started being a joke.

Thing is, KC had to make the little joke become reality. And she is doing what ever she can to make it reality. If that is the case and she started looking up this name way back, IMO, that is pre-meditation.

I noticed in some of the emails or chats one of her friends told her they found some Xanax. I think she was using Xanax and calling it zanny.

But then, Dot, why did she give Zanny a "real" identity? Linking her to the Sawgrass Apts, etc, etc? Why, oh why, did she link her to a person that really existed?

I don't know how she did this (computer, car tags, driver's license, and so forth) but regardless of however she did this -- It has certainly become her undoing! Don't you think?
