Nancy Grace to be on DWTS

DH and I were away for a 4-day weekend, and I'm trying very hard to stay awake for a little while longer to watch Nancy Grace dance a Waltz that honors her beautiful and beloved twins, John David and Lucy. Nancy looks lovely and very Grace-ful in an elegant light blue gown. I've cast all my votes for Nancy this evening, and I hope that she dances joyfully and stays in the competition for another week, at least.

Ditto Bette, Nancy said her twins were smiling so big. LOL :rocker: Yeah Baby

Their scores weren't the highest but what a wonderful way for her to honor her twins. And then to see them out in the audience with Daddy. How KEWEL

Nancy looked lovely tonight and danced wonderful. I loved the dedication to her children and their lovely faces.

WTG Nancy.

Cheers

Goz

I was a bit disappointed in Nancy. I love her to death but she is totally out of her element. The twins are wonderful, but that's not necessarily a reason to "dance".

J.R. stole the show, IMO. He made me cry. I think he and his partner should get married!

BBM: I would have to disagree... in my opinion, the gift of children in ones life is one of the greatest dances in the universe.

First it was nipple-gate, and now we have fart-gate.

Did Nancy fart?

You be the judge ;)

I think it was nancy because she kinda bent down and I think one slipped out.

Poor nancy!

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh: OMG, I laughed so hard that I literally started choking. Good thing DH was home.

If she hadn't made the face that says "something stinks", I would pass it off as Nancy's tummy growling. She probably hadn't eaten for several hours so she wouldn't have a "belly" during the performance. Whatever the case, I hope she's safe for another week.

Nancy moves on to week 4! Woo Hoo - she wasn't even in the bottom 3.

Kristin Cavallari was kicked off “Dancing with the Stars” tonight, after having landed in the bottom three with Carson Kressley and Hope Solo.

I voted for Nancy, and I really never knew who KC was. I think she's from the hills or sumfin -- I never watched it.

Go Nancy!!

Nancy, love ya but you aren't doing so well in the dance. I really wish the better dancers would advance and not the people with the most fans! Nancy must have a lot of fans out there.

I also thought Chaz and Hope should go. She's fine when she's shakin' it and the minute she starts actual dance steps, she's bride of frankendancer. Carson was much improved. Chyna had the best lines - arms, leg lines, hands, all great. Tony knows she does "pretty" so he gave her a lot of opportunity with nice swivels. I think she was better than Rickey, can't figure out why her dance scored better - possibly more emotional connection.

These judges must talk amongst themselves or share notes or something because they all agree way too much in the end evidenced by the fact they are usually only 1 point off from the others' score.

This is why actual ballroom competition is so mystifying sometimes - judges can have vastly different opinions. One might give you a 1 and another a 6 (placing you from 1-6 in a final heat).

Respectfully edited.

DWTS has never really been about the dancing: It's a reality show that is intended to bring top ratings to the network through the fan base of the featured "stars". At the end of every season, I tell myself that I'm not going to watch the show any more, but, alas!, there ends up being a "star" that I'd like to see compete for the mirrored ball. If it hadn't been for Nancy Grace and Carson Kressley, I probably wouldn't have tuned in this season, and when one or both of them is sent packing, I won't watch any more because I don't really care about the others.

Early in the afternoon yesterday, there was an entertainment update on my Comcast homepage indicating that Cher would be in the audience for DWTS next week if Chaz was "safe" last night. I knew instantly that Chaz wouldn't get his walking papers because having Cher on the show will be a rating's bonanza for ABC. Producers would have shot themselves in the foot if they let Chaz go last night and missed out on this opportunity.

The judging on DWTS isn't anything like that in a real ballroom dance competition: The professional dancers take many liberties with their choreography, most of which wouldn't pass muster if DWTS was "strictly ballroom". jmo

I agree with what BDE just said. I love NG to death, and IMO, she has drawn in most of the people watching. I never would have looked at the show if it wasn't for Nancy.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn about the dancers. Hope is making big advances from where she started. Carson.... what a riot! I just love that dude! And he's good! JR, what a wonderful man.

And, yes, Cher will be a huge attraction next week, if it actually happens. Darn, now I'm hooked. Strange how DWTS is on at the same time as NG. Thank goodness for remotes. Channel surfing is my new best friend. LOL.

You guys laughing on the tape made me laugh! Made my morning!

But it could have been a major stomach growl, poor thing.

Nancy Grace just announced on her HLN show that she and Tristan will perform a Paso Doble next week on DWTS. I will be wracking my brain for the next several days trying to discern what "movie music" Nancy and Tristan will choose for their rendition of the Matador and his brilliant red Cape. :Banane48

I'm not a Nancy lover or even liker, quite the opposite actually, but I still think she deserves to be there. Chaz should be gone. His dancing is horrid. There are a couple of others that I would send packing before her too.

I don't know, but she is donating whatever it is to a foundation for Missing Children. I believe she's done the same with the proceeds from her books.

Don't all the contestants donate their winnings to their favorite charity? Every time Nancy or CNN mentions her donation they say it as if she is the only one doing such an honorable thing. Somehow this annoys me.

No they don't. They get paid to appear on the show.
It's not for charity.

Nancy has chosen to give her pay for charity.

If Chaz had went home then Cher wouldn't be in the audience next week. LOL

BTW, just wanted to say NG is doing a great job and she makes me smile when she's dancing. I like her personality and sense of humor. Go Nancy !:great::great::great:

Nancy has been talking so much about herself lately, it makes me sick.

She has recently made her shows all about Nancy and Dancing With the Stars.

I thought she was supposed to be for the "victim" and for those that have given up their lives for our freedom in this great country we live in.
