Nancy Grace to be on DWTS

Ham it up high kicking Nancy!!!! Great job!

She has shown improvement every week but this week she was so confident! It is a pleasure seeing a different side of NG.

Thanks essies for the you tube links!

I don't understand why she thought her partner was trying to sabotage her.
If he gave her too much and they did bad, he would be off the show also.

Over in the Celebriquarium, Brooke chats with J.R. and Nancy Grace, and she asks Nancy how it feels to have gotten her best score yet on Monday night. “Well, that’s a pretty hard act to follow right there,” Nancy says, gesturing to J.R. “Plus, did you know he’s a war hero? I don’t know if you’ve heard about that.” Uh oh — the real Nancy Grace is about to emerge. We haven’t really been liking this “nice” Nancy, anyway.

Anyone else notice how Nancy was totally lovin' on Chaz Bono last night during his sad "goodbye" dance? She was obviously sad for him, and she obviously has great affection for him. IMO, these two are now good friends - they've totally bonded during their time on the show together. Nancy & several others from DWTS went to the Awards Ceremony in support of Chaz. Good for Nancy. Good for Chaz.

'DWTS' Cast Flanks Chaz Bono at GLSEN Awards...

Along with DWTS' Nancy Grace, Hope Solo, Carson Kressley and J.R. Martinez, ET's executive producer Linda Bell Blue and senior broadcast producer Linda Fuller also showed their support by attending the award show.

I was astounded that she was dancing to Monty Python! Omg, does Nancy have a sense of humor??? :thud:

I think the best thing that happened for nancy is that people are seeing the other sides to her personality. I have always thought her 'hardcore' prosecutor character is just that---a manufactured character used to spice up the show. When she is 'mean' to the other people on the show, I think that is all for show.

I think people are seeing the more likable side of her personality with her doing this show.

I've followed this thread but have never posted on it. I just have to say I totally agree with you. I've watched her show on CNN on and off, and while I love what she does for innocent victims, I've often changed the channel when she gets nasty with people. I like her so much on DWTS and find myself rooting for her every week. I'm so glad she wasn't eliminated last night because I think she has really improved, more so than some of the other dancers. Each week she shows more confidence and she just gets better and better. :)

Nancy announced on her HLN show last night that she and Tristan will perform Jive and Tango next week. Go get 'em, NG!

I was so engrossed in the discussion here on the Lisa Irwin board that I almost forgot to watch Nancy on DWTS - LOL! I turned on ABC at the end of Nancy and Tristan's Jive and will try to locate video shortly. They received the lowest scores of the evening, and their team Tango didn't fare well, either. I cast all my votes for Nancy and hope she lasts another week. No matter what happens tonight, NG has done a fine job on DWTS. You rock, Nancy! :woohoo:

Here's a link to the Jive that NG and partner performed last night. I like the costumes, music, and theme but the dance is a tad too "slow". jmo

Thank you for posting this link. She did FANTASTIC! Anything Nancy does, she does the best. Now, JR......... I'm torn between the two of them. Sheesh! What a dilemma. They do seem to really like each other too.

The "team" dance was pretty good. However, IIRC, JR was on the other team. It comes on rather late my time:waitasec:.

SPOILER ALERT:

Nancy is......

SAFE!

David Arquette & Kym Johnson booted.

I predict that unless Nancy bombs horribly next week that Hope will go next. Then I'm afraid Nancy's days just might be numbered. We'll see.

Kudos to Nancy for making it to the 8th week! That's fabulous!!

I'm happy that NG has survived another week - especially since she is dancing for the Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

That said, I have a (belated) word of advice for her partner, Tristan, who should have taken Nancy to a dance studio to observe an intermediate/advanced Tap class, or a studio that taught Irish Step-Dancing (think - Riverdance) or Clogging. Watching these fast-footwork dance styles would have helped Nancy understand the technique that was expected of her with Tristan's choreography that included a little of each of the dance styles that I've mentioned. jmo

Survived another week - hooray! Vote & vote often . . .

LOL.

Nancy is sure hanging in there. I think she did so very well all things considered. I guess those twins kept her young after all. Did you see that cartwheel? LOL! I think the judges were just a tad hard on her, which helped encourage voting fans who secured her yet another week!

But poor David Arquette. :( He's been an enjoyable personality and certainly gave us our entertainmment's worth.

They're all pretty fun to watch ... and it's likely a toss-up and a fan-favorite-fight over any of them going home next week, with the exception of Ricky & JR - who have really become pretty awesome dancers, technically speaking.

Fun season to watch. :cow:

Wow, thanks for the updates people. I wasn't able to watch the show last night. So David Arguette got booted? hummmmmm. I thought it would be Chaz, and no way Nancy. I was shocked when she did the cartwheel in rehersal. Rock on Nancy. :great:Let me go see if I can find re-run on the DWTS site.

Tristan is finally understanding "don't mess with a strong woman like Nancy Grace."

Has anyone noticed how much weight Nancy has lost? and how cute her little figure is becoming? I am about to call DWTS and BEG them to let Kgeaux take a turn!

I hope Nancy's fans voted often last night because the judges weren't good to her. I'd like to see her advance to the final four next week. Whatever happens, NG has been a class act on DWTS.
