I have a lot of anger tonight listening to the gentleman/neighbor on NG describing neighbors being asked if their animals brought home any bones lately. I can't type the language I'm thinking and saying in my head on here (and I usually swear like a sailor so this is even worse...). I said the exact statement that MK said tonight to a friend of mine last week: I don't even want to breathe the same air they do. May justice be swift and soon. Also, on NG tonight, when everyone was questioning who loved Zahra. My first thought was "I do!" But that isn't a fair statement, is it? I never knew her, yet was drawn in to this inexplicably strong-willed little girl who beat the odds to end up like THIS. It infuriates me. She could have been loved by any one of us, and it's too late. Damn it.

It's rare that the panel on NG agrees on the whole! (Well, except for the defense attorney attempts at how they would try the case, which are half-hearted at best. I get the feeling they wouldn't touch that evil.)

It might be just a sensationalist play on words given they are searching an area where animal carcasses are dumped. It is pretty certain that bones were found there but were they human and sent for analysis? ... that was not said. IMO

Yes. It is almost as if the Perps learn from prior cases or by watching CSI and stuff. They try new and horrendous ways to hide the body so that it isn't easily recognized as such, CoD determined and/or, tied back to them.

A NG caller asked who loved Zahra ... this is another polar opposite of love to scatter her remains to cover your own selfish tracks after not even lifting a finger to prevent her alleged abuse or demise.

Just when you thought crime and (in)'human' actions could not get worse, they sink to an all-time new low.

I'm not going to defend either AB or EB, but right now there isn't any evidence of dismemberment. Unless bones belonging to Zahra are found miles apart, wild animals are known to scatter a carcass within a reasonable area. MOO

It's a terrible thing but Ray Guidice is right. If LE can't prove COD then the dismembering is just abuse of a corpse - not murder - no provable COD can say she died from natural causes or it was an accident.

I've been thinking about this the past couple of days. And, yes IMHO she was dismembered and scattered throughout the area.

That only works if they both stick with that story.
The best thing the state has without COD is that there are two of them.

Oh and they probably will - the devil is in the details and all the other details surrounding this - the reports to DSS by the school, neighbors, even the relatives that said they didn't report can testify to the abuse they saw.

The is no COD on Caylee yet ICA is facing murder 1 and the death penalty - and IMO Zahra's case has so much more to back up the abuse - they can (and will) both be tried for murder 1 with the DP - the only thing is that one will turn state's witness and the other will go down harder. Its always the first one that sings - so we will have to see on this.

He wouldn't want me on the jury.

When you allow another human being to abuse your child and trust/hope/think/believe they will only beat and degrade them not kill them, you are equally responsible if not more so for failing to protect your child from a known danger.

And I think he is more involved than just being a bystander.

I don't think either will face the death penalty personally, but I agree one will make a deal for a lesser sentence to testify against the other.

huge huge hugs to you Pantera! Thank you for all of your posts on this page regarding the bones. IMO the wording was very careful tonight in that regard. Just vague enough to suggest Zahra's bones but nothing substantive to back that up.

they words were true. They found bones! They asked neighbors if their dogs had brough home any bones lately (if animal carcasses are dumped round there it would be a logical find and question) Nothing suggests any bones found were human.

The way things were worded makes the leap for many but nothing about that search today says to me - tthat hey found a bone belonging to Zahra and she has been dismembered.
