JC back to talking with RO. She doesn't judge ED at all for not seeing Zahra. Asks when the last time was she saw Zahra. He answers about 8 yrs. ago. ED had PPD. AB just took off with Zahra. Every time she'd track him down, he'd take off again, this happened over the years. She then realized Zahra was here in the U.S. only 3 days before Zahra was reported missing. She is going to stay here until DNA tests come back. Candlelight vigil planned for Tuesday night, doesn't know if she'll go to that.

I wonder whether AB and EB had figured out if biomum had figured out where they were. Maybe the original plan was to dispose of the body and say nothing to anyone, and hope no one here in the states remembered Zahra, looked for her, or did any snooping around. It could be they would not have reported Zahra missing at all, except for the biomum had figured out where they were. Just wondering.

^ Well since Emily had contacted Karen, then I assume she passed on the contact to Adam, and yes I believe that is why Zahra was reported missing when she was.

that is my OPINION as well. I think there is something to this ED had discovered AB in america. that is all MOO. But it feels right. It explains the poorly constructed arson, kidnapping etc. thing on the day we all learned of Z.

Perhaps the schools phone calls, the charges filed by family members, the unexpected news of ED being on the trail, perhaps all of those things culminated in the events leading to Zahra's being reported missing. Perhaps she was dead shortly before that time, but all of these pressures, like an oldschool teapot whistling on the stove, could not be ingored any more. All MOO speculation.

I think that's a very good possibility. AB's family in Australia would've thought she was here in the States. I can even imagine EB corresponding online with them as Zahra. To the folks in NC, the Bakers would have said Zahra returned to Australia. Eventually, they would've moved again and probably have gotten away with it for awhile, if fate hadn't stepped in.

Contrast those heartfelt reactions with AB's robot-like dullness and EB's anger at missing Halloween (according to jailhouse letter).

It was very effective to put her at ease and not feel threatened or intimidated so they could focus on some questions and have a good discussion. Being on TV can be intimidating in of itself never mind........

And you know... the sister has to be feeling the heat on her family. I grew up in a small town (200 people) and moved up to the big time (800 people) when I was in high school. When something like this happens (or even something less horrible), people talk, take sides, and mark you. It took great courage for CF to come on tonight, and kudos to her for doing it. She did well.

dang it..I was baby-sitting my precious grandbabies tonight and missed the live broadcast. I even logged into timer 55 to see if the chat was still there and of course no such luck. Were the rumors anything that we had heard before?

and how refreshing it was after following other cases..to hear what seemed to be honesty from the sis. It has to be an awful time for them as well and while I don't expect her to air everything on national tv..she also didn't sugar coat her feelings either...just understandably cautious. I can only imagine the havoc that EB has caused her family over the years..
