Being that she left his carseat behind, where are the rest of his things, including the diaper bag? For LE to even be entertaining this theory, it must be missing. So what did she do with it? MOO

I'm still wondering if that's part of why they are considering searching the landfill - for those things that might be missing, not for a body? Is that a silly thought?

Oh I don't disgree with you..that's just it..we don't know where the rest of his things are...diaper bag or otherwise...to me , in my own humble opion, she no longer needed the car seat..very cubersom....

I think it could be both. Yes, if she did hand off Gabriel, she could've given the new parents his diaper bag, clothes, and whatnot. But why not include the car seat? Often it's difficult enough to make it an easy transition for a child, and that would be something to make it easier because he was familiar with it. Just MOO.

I'm looking AGAIN at the diaper bag... I can't see him even fitting in it...no way...he must have been at 15-18 pds...23 plus inches long.....In theory...normally feed infant.....he looked quite healthy weight/height in the pics supposed ly at the hotel around Christmas.....

An average 7.5 month old is 19 lbs and ~27.5 inches long (with ~98% of infants ranging from 15.5 lbs to 23 lbs and 25.25 inches to 29.75 inches). He looked average or bigger for his age. I agree...I don't see him fitting.

Source: www.infantchart.com (I used a birthday of June 19th which gave an age of 7.5 months old. If you put in his birthdate, it would generate percentages for an over 8 month old and would not reflect the timing of the picture).

My almost 5 y/o lies better than TS!! Seriously?? Oh yeah BTW, EJ was talking about 3 people..what's that you say?? witness?? 3 people?? Oh my, haven't heard that, we don't watch the news you see... *insert eyeroll here*

Oh, right. It was their great friend Yami who reported the story about the three people in the first place.

One way or the other, that is true ~ she didn't need it. Back to the diaper bag though, I am curious just how big (and expandable) it was. :waitasec:

Well, my thought has always been that if you are taking a child you know you aren't supposed to have, then you would be stupid to keep anything that was connected to that child.

There are other reasons... maybe it was someone with means and/or they wanted what he had to be what they chose for him. Maybe they had a car seat from a previous child or other child for immediate transport and could take it after that (airplane?) or maybe they were going to pass him off and didn't need it. I think there are a lot of reasons why they wouldn't take his car seat, maybe they had already bought a new car seat previously? Like a tan one! Or did the Smith's give Elizabeth the one they purchased for Gabriel? Also, if you already had a child you might have kept the car seat that child has now outgrown - so why have two?

If this couple & the Hispanic man do exist, I really believe TS knows exactly who they are. MOO

Could the double secret "he/she" person that witnessed seeing EJ with this couple and Hispanic man be TPS herself? Now that would be rich.

It could be just about anybody since it only seems to be a media report at this time. I'd love to hear the secret eyewitness is actually some video surveillance tape!! (well, I can hope! :) )

You just touched on something I hadn't thought of ~ no need for a car seat if they weren't going by car to their destination. thanks for the thought!

Tammi Said " EJ was concerned about 3 people out of the country talking about this case....

How would Elizabeth know whose talking...she's in jail...
Tammi needs to explain that comment

P..to me, and I probably need new glasses, it looks to be just a canvas bag with no expandability. I have one similar to that, that I put my blow dryer curlers and make up in when I travel...not a wonderful comparison I know....

To me it sounds like a comment to send LE on a wild goose chase to Mexico.

Kinda what I have been thinking for awhile!

That's the impression I got too but I just couldn't judge the exact size or how much depth it had. I could see using it as a carrier for a small dog, maybe, but I agree it didn't look like an 8 m/o baby would fit. It's their heads that are large and wouldn't be 'bendable'.

You know, we aren't sure where a hand off could have taken place either... for all we know she could have driven to someone's house or another motel or straight to an airport. I'm not sure, but I don't think you have to have a car seat for infants on buses or city transit, do you?

Is it to much to ask for NG to have come back from break and ask her about it?? I can't believe she didn't :banghead:

I'm not sure at all either, but I think it might be more convenient for the baby to have his own carrier rather than having to hold him all the time.

Well, I'm with you on that one. If it were me, I would want a carrier!

Well we have so much more to search for , for sure...Like NG or not, I will say she has been the only one following this......I'm not agreeing with her right now, but at least she is still keeping Gabriel's name out there. Too bad other networks do not....good night you wonderful individuals, who take your valueable time...to just throw thoughts out there..you're thoughts could be the clue to solving this case........
