The Pima County Sheriff's Department says the Honda connected to the case will be returned to the family soon. This car belongs to Nancy's daughter, Annie Guthrie.

Annie was one of the last people to see Nancy after dropping her off at home following dinner on Jan. 31.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said weeks ago that Annie and the rest of the Guthrie family have been ruled out as suspects.

“Today” anchor Savannah Guthrie is “livid” over early claims her brother-in-law was a prime suspect in her mom Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, according to her former NBC colleague Megyn Kelly.

The conservative firebrand said she had learned Guthrie was left fuming after fellow journalist, Ashleigh Banfield, had alleged the brother-in-law, Tommaso Cioni, was somehow tied to the Feb.1 kidnapping in Tucson, Ariz.

Kelly dropped the revelation amid reports Guthrie is planning to sue Banfield over the false allegation — and especially since the Pima County Sheriff’s Office publicly cleared the family of having any involvement

“I have not been able to confirm that the Guthrie family wants to sue Ashleigh Banfield, but I have confirmed that Savannah is livid about that report and definitely does not suspect her or her brother-in-law,” Kelly said during an episode of SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly Show late last week.

“Can you blame her? I mean, of course, she loves her sister, I’m sure she loves her brother-in-law, and I’m sure she genuinely doesn’t believe they had anything to do with it.”

''Moore acknowledged that "we don’t want to hope for a second crime scene or remains to be found of Nancy" and that "we all still want to believe she’s alive." However, even if she was kidnapped, held against her will, and is still alive, "that place she’s being held is a second crime scene."

According to the genetic genealogist, it's not a matter of if investigators will find a suspect but when

A retired Pima County sheriff’s detective believes that Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapping was premeditated and involved “two to four accomplices,” according to a report.

Kurt Dabb, who worked with the agency now leading the search for the missing 84-year-old matriarch, told Parade that a high-profile abduction like Guthrie’s would need more people than just the masked, armed man caught on her doorbell camera the night she vanished.

It’s more than likely the home was canvassed prior, either by the kidnapper himself or an accomplice, ” he continued. “Whether or not they knew a camera was there was a culmination of their reconnoiter.”

Nancy Guthrie abductor likely had as many as four accomplices, retired Pima County detective says

The retired detective had an interesting answer when asked if he believes the suspect on camera acted alone.
