The Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI have detained an individual for questioning in connection with the abduction of Nancy Guthrie, a source said.

The individual was detained in a location south of Tucson, the source said, and law enforcement is preparing to search a location associated with the individual.

The development followed the first images released of a masked man approaching Nancy Guthrie’s front door and as investigators continued to search in her neighborhood.

The e-mail, per TMZ, ends with the person saying this is their final attempt to help.

According to the report, this e-mail came just one day after an e-mail asked for 1 bitcoin in return for the kidnapper's name

Gloves found at Guthrie residence, sheriff’s department says​

Gloves found at Guthrie's house are being sent out for testing, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a statement this afternoon.

The department said "several items of evidence" were found at the residence, but provided no details beyond the gloves.

The news comes after multiple reports that a nylon glove was found at the home.
