Agreed... Until the (assumed) fact that the kidnapper has/had no means/plan for giving proof of life. That's where the planned kidnapping falls apart for me. Especially given that SG said they will pay. All MOO but I think if there was proof the ransom demander had Nancy alive, SG would pay immediately. But sadly, it seems like the ransom demands are a separate crime by a separate (evil) person(s) . MOO
This^^^100% agreed.

Question about getaway vehicle— We see the perp walk up to the front of the door to remove camera, but no vehicle is there. We know she was taken out the front door and the blood trail stops where we can assume she was put in a vehicle. This means the vehicle was parked elsewhere and then brought to the front of the house after doorbell camera was ripped off. I’m not sure how none of the surrounding neighbors have surveillance that shows a car during that time period. Based on the surveillance camera in front of her garage, I doubt the perp parked there.

Yes, it was said the camera was probably battery operated, still works off the bracket and maybe even if taken to go, if still within Bluetooth range. ( usually a couple of houses away)
Someone mentioned the Bluetooth function of the camera could maybe tracked, might lead to the missing camera, might lead to the perp. Please chime in, If someone knows if this is possible, away from Bluetooth receiver?

REAL long shot but if the person happened to live in the same neighbourhood as AG, I wonder if the camera could have briefly connected to AG’s wifi on the journey? I’ve known of younger family members who will charge the cameras, update the firmware, go through the setup process, sorting out the settings etc, in their own home, before taking them to the elderly relative’s house to install them.

edit: also they are connected via WiFi, not Bluetooth

Thanks.
So let me understand...
Cameras outside detected movement around the outside of the house, right?
Then her pacemaker goes off comms at 2 something, which is probably when she is out of range of the signal.

How does that place him in the house for over 40 minutes?
From the time the camera first disconnected at 1:47 to the time the pacemaker disconnected at 2:28 was about 41 minutes. The camera captured someone after 2am, but the sheriff's timeline said there was no video.

I don't know if they've updated the timeline since the man was captured on video.

What specific proof is there that he was in the house over 40 minutes?
1:47am he’s seen at front door
2:22am her pacemaker is out of range of her phone

I don't think it was an accident that both swat raids have involved grey SUVs. How they know that...idk? I won't mention it because I don't have a source but I recall a very early interesting car mention.

I know this may sound weird to the average person, but I cannot afford to pay even 3bucks a month on my income and I do not need to purchase a title. I am just me. jmo

I don't think the camera view includes a proper view of the street, just part of the driveway is clear. I think the car could be at the street. The blood trail ended at the bottom of the driveway so maybe the car was on the street by the entrance to the driveway.

Do we KNOW the neighbor called APS? IS there a link to this? TY
The sheriff said it in an interview. I will have to search for it.

1000 POSTS LATER, people speculating on AI vs real images and 2 perps...I dont think there were 2 perps. As everyone knows by now, I have felt from the beginning this was a kidnapper who had a delusional fascination with SG. She is his fantasy girlfriend .He is a marginalized, socially inadequate, man who has a poetic soul and finds his meaning in life through movies and TV. He is fixated on SG. Probably has an area in his home, like an altar, that has her photo, articles about her etc. He thinks when she is on the TODAY show that every word she speaks is CODE, directed at him. He became restless and decided he must have her but he can't. He went for her mom, instead. NOW HE HAS SG's attention. He also has a trophy..SG's mom. He may also have other trophies he took from the home, family photos, or lingerie from SG's old bedroom, for example.

MOTIVE will solve this case, imo. Obsessed stalker. Someone knows him and his devotion to SG. Watching the Today show daily, saving every program she is on, perhaps mentioning her during casual conversations once too often. This is not a 2 perp crime. This guy acted alone. MOO JMO
I agree motive is one thing that the smartest person cannot hide.
IMO it' likely a past coworker of SG someone who worked behind the scenes and feels wronged by her-perhaps a writer. Revenge is a very powerful motive but I also feel you are correct in the obsession track too. This villain is very smart extremely careful and computer savvy.

While this would create an interesting story line for a lifetime movie.

I can’t remember there ever being a case where a famous persons mother was kidnapped due to an obsession with the victims daughter. Or even a non famous persons mother for that matter.

Displacing one's deluded rage onto a proxy is not new or novel. Many serial killers' victims are representations of their mother/father/husband/wife or whomever, so I imagine the mother of a difficult to reach/access famous person might just do for a pathological type.

Yes, per the photos posted upthread showing the Nest mount beside the door, the camera was battery operated. Also note, the traditional doorbell is still intact in the photo. The battery operated Nest uses wifi, not bluetooth, and must be on-network to upload videos to the cloud. If for any reason wifi connection is lost, it will try to reconnect, but only to the network for which it has the password. SOME Nest cameras (see link) have local storage capacity to store videos for a relatively short time (like an hour) while wifi is lost and then will upload that to the cloud once the connection is restored. In this case, we know the camera was removed from the mount, source photos upthread. We don't know how it was removed. AB reported cameras were smashed, although others have indicated the camera was/was not recovered. If the camera was smashed, obviously the recording would cease. If just removed and set aside, it could continue recording. Another factor is how the camera was actually setup. Most record only after motion is detected, and many have zones established for motion detection so that things like passing cars are not always setting off a motion alarm. No information given AFAIK on the particular Nest model involved, clear statement on means it was 'disconnected', how it was setup, etc.

I just looked this up and Google says "We understand we will pay" was not a line in Mel Gibson's movie Ransom.

Instead what he said was:

You'll never see one dollar of this money, because no ransom will ever be paid for my son. Not one dime, not one penny. Instead, I'm offering this money as a reward on your head. Dead or alive, it doesn't matter.

Now Google could always be wrong. JMO
I went back and tried to delete it. My source about the film Ransom was incorrect. TY
