According to this article, she was playing Mahjong with her daughter on Saturday evening.

Quoting my own post because I just realized in the article it says that mahjong is a 4-player game.
So I wonder who else made up the foursome.
It sounds like mahjong was her last activity of the night vs. dinner.

ETA: Does anyone here play mahjong, and if so, is it a game that can only be played with 4 people, or can 2 people play?

I have been trying to think what is the item she WASN'T wearing that was mentioned in the note. I know watch has been thrown around, but I don't know. Is there something else that would be very obvious to those who knew her that she wasn't wearing? It couldn't be a specific piece of jewellery unless they knew her well and she usually wore it. Family might be able to confirm this.

I doubt its a piece of clothing, but did she wear a wig or hair piece?

In my opinion, the dog could be a possible valuable way to put things together. Let’s say she did have one, where is it, is it there or did it disappear with her? Stuff like that I could see could maybe be helpful but in this case, I don’t think it amounts too much.

Oh yes, that sounds about like my workday all the time. Except I don’t see very many with schizophrenia anymore that’s actually “pure,” or not altered by substances such as drugs or alcohol.

Almost always what I’ve seen over the last 14 years is more and more it’s drug induced psychosis or schizophrenia, although there are some cases I’ve seen where it’s hard to tell which came first, the illness or the drug abuse.

He was I think 19 when it reared its ugly head..not a heavy drug user at the time, but over the years, did end up using, which always made him worse, even while on meds. He eventually died of a heroin overdose, by then I hadnt spoken to him in 10 years.

Another topic....if this was my mom's house and it was released back to me, I would have cleaned up. I'd hose down the blood and clean up the debris. I wouldn't want it all sitting there. But maybe LE wants all of that broadcast to the criminal?

I am speculating that the investigators may have asked the family not to raise the reward amount. Not sure why that would be requested..but I read that happened on another case. Of course i do not remember the case.

Exactly. Different start up cryptos will do “coin drops”. People will post their wallet addresses on reddit posts to get coin drops etc. The wallet address could be ran through reddit or different crypto chat threads to see if a username could be traced to it. Or wallets that have transferred to/from that same wallet on the network. I will add, it would be really dumb of that person to use a wallet they regularly use but crazier things have happened before.

That is very sad!!! A lot of people turn to substances to try to block out the voices…..it always makes things so much worse as you noted
