The issue is not having an opinion about a potentially political motivation. It is the characterization of SG being “rude” and asking questions that comes across as a rhetorical statement in which SG’s “rudeness” is a component of the motivation. We can debate all day about SG’s interviewing demeanor but that is unhelpful IMO.
I think it is VERY helpful. The absolute hate towards her since that interview is shocking.

This phone call to Annie is a bit odd. If this friend from church was concerned enough over NG not in attendance, why didn't he/she go over to the house themselves? It seems to me that this person who had Annie's phone number must also be quite a good friend.

Had they gone to NG's home, they would have seen the blood outside the front door and called the police themselves.

Maybe it's nothing, but it seems a bit odd in an already odd case.
Released info is sparse-maybe Annie got the call from an unfamiliar number and went over. Did she try to call her mom?Annie’s phone plays a role in all of this, so I understand why it would be taken to verify the sequence of events. If someone called me as a friend of my Mom’s, I might think I just wasn’t paying attention to who my Mom’s friends were, and played along as if I knew them. So much we don’t know regarding the circumstances.

Until the SIL is cleared as a suspect by police, no one should be ruling him and Annie out. Maybe they will clear them today, maybe not…
the body language of the family yesterday was interesting but not much can be read into it due to the situation they are in. They really need to clear SIL and by association Annie today if they have been investigated and found to not have anything to do with it. Absent that rumors will swirl. If I were AG and her partner I would demand unless they just can't be cleared.

I may be reading too much in to this, but I find it curious that Craig Melvin (SG's co-host) will not be going to Milan to cover the Olympics. The most realistic assumption is that he is staying stateside in solidarity with SG... but that seems odd to me. There has been no mention as to why he's staying, just they they had to shuffle things around. Does he feel unsafe or concerned for people in his circle?
The network appears to be tightening security for employees and their families as a precaution, in case the abduction is linked to SG’s celebrity status.

Many people (thousands) posted their dislike for SG after she interviewed Donald Trump. They felt she was rude and aggressive and very biased during the interview. There were actually posts all over Facebook with pure hatred for SG.

These are not my views. I am just repeating what I read a few years back.
Interesting because apparently he likes her!

SG is far from being a Don Lemon type of journalist, she reports on a variety of of stories and thus the idea that a political motivation for kidnapping her mother is a reach. I’m not saying it’s not possible, just not likely.

I don’t think anyone has a problem considering the possibility, again, it’s the criticism of SG as an aggravating factor that is “rude” IMHO.
Sure, it could be a reach, but so are a bunch of theories others have offered here, right? Like a bobcat attack! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and that does include moonbeams disliking SG. I wanted to stick up for moonbeams because, frankly, too many people were piling on.

Sorry, this is an awful post to write but I'm trying to get my head around it:

I'm thinking about that baby Emmanuel Haro: a sloppy crime, obvious to LE who had done it and what had happened. From memory the kidnapping was reported, parents did an appeal video and then got arrested. And the entire time LE were searching for the body. They knew there was a body, and they wanted to find it.

IF LE think a stranger took Nancy, and it has nothing to do with the note, then why aren't they searching?
Where?

I myself take daily meds for blood pressure, thyroid, heart etc. I know if I miss a dose I'm going to feel it. To me, any medication your body gets use to will cause a reaction if not taken. I can't help but think how sick she must be feeling if alive. I know the family has to hold out hope but I fear with each passing day this is unlikely.

This is as cruel as harming a child.

I think her source didn't really offer anything profound, but rather a fairly common observation that LE always leans on and thoroughly investigates the last person or persons who see a victim. The source could've misinterpreted all of that activity and innuendo as a hard lead.

Could be wrong on that, though. Time will tell.

JMO.
AB is aware of all that you say. Her source is presented at being very close to this case. She must be very confident. In subsequent interviews she is not backing down.

i thought it was her church?

“While Nancy Guthrie does not attend St. Philip’s, there is a family connection to the church and Pastor John Tittle.
Tittle is from St. Andrews Presbyterian, Nancy Guthrie’s church, and participated in the service.“

My understanding from yesterday's posts is that the pacemaker is connected to a device, and once out of range, it is no longer detected.
I've been thinking a lot about the pacemaker. I haven't had to help a patient do a pacemaker check since COVID. When I first started nursing, we had to take the patient to a landline phone and dial certain numbers, listen for the tones to make sure everything is connected and transmitting, it could be a hassle. The last one I ever did, all I had to do was make sure the patient was near the phone at the specified time and verify they received the transmission.
If pacemakers don't have trackers in them yet, why not?

DJT made what he perceives as a political good move in the midst of chaos in Washington. Nothing to do with "liking her".

Why do you say they are not searching? They are still searching. Brian Entin has a couple of newer videos discussing how they are actively searching and that the search is intensifying.

if anyone could even suggest that this could be politically motivated by proxy against a TV host - don't we all need to take a long hard look at where we are as a species??

just my own pointless thought on the subject

Yep. Sadly, we now live in an age of politically motivated crimes.
