This rag is grasping at straws!
The amount of headlines i’ve seen that say “Arrest made in the Mother of Savannah Guthrie case” is amazing. While factual, they know why they are leading with that. Click bait as the kids would say

Seems like if someone saw a suspicious vehicle, they’d take a cell phone pic of vehicle/plate. I do just in case. Wonder if anyone did…
I have so many pictures of suspicious cars and people around my street lol. I need to delete some

I’m always puzzled re: all the clanging MSM/YouTuber speculation in cases like these—about LE intent.

The MO and timing of searches, video production, photo taking, evidence gathering, etc. may reflect a completely different LE strategy than what appears on the surface.

[The most troubling thing of many troubling things for me—the hour it supposedly took to make the 911 call.]

JMO.
There’s an updated timeline, 911 was called 7 minutes after they arrived at house to check on Nancy.

Also, it was a Nest doorbell?
I don't think this has been officially confirmed, but the image of the door that has been circulated shows a mounting plate that looks exactly like a Nest doorbell mounting plate to me.

Yes, that sounds right. But he spoke further, and it sounded contrived. Really trying to sell "there's nothing to see here," as I saw it anyway.

It’s odd because they were really pushing that no one in the family was considered a POI yesterday. I think they were aggressively trying to squash the news that came from Banfield about the sil. But today they wouldn’t answer a question about the sil, instead they say that everyone is a suspect. Strange.

i don't care about the ransom hoax loser anymore. he was arrested, case closed, it doesn't have anything to actually do with nancy's disappearance and i wish we would stop posting about him.

I haven't had time to keep up with the details of this case but I just keep thinking of Caylee Anthony. For 6 months George and Cindy stuck with the theory that Caylee was kidnapped and the whole time Casey had killed her (IMO).

I watched some of the presser today and heard how the door camera was disabled, then a person detected but not videoed. Have they said she was caught on the door cam coming home? Did she not have any inside cameras ( I only have a dog / treat camera myself)

Has there ever been a legitimate kidnapping for ransom where the family paid and the victim was let go alive?
This news story on previous kidnapping was recently posted. Not all of these ended well.
I posted most of the names in the story.

I was watching Brian Entin tonight with a guest Maureen O'Connell and she was discussing the nest camera(s). I know they said there was no subscription to the Nest camera(s), so they couldn't get any footage..

Who would know that she didn't have a subscription where it stored footage? Or maybe the perp didn't care if she had a subscription. Maybe they were wearing a disguise when they removed the camera so it didn't matter to them. I guess I am trying to answer my own question. lol

I am skeptical of the ransom letters. I cannot describe it. Something feels off. I would love to be wrong and that Ms. Nancy comes back unharmed.

As far as the Sheriff saying "there are no suspects, no person-of-interest"... of course, they are going to say that.. Even if they did have a prime suspect they could just not be ready to say for a variety of reasons...but it doesn't necessarily mean they don't really have one.

Also, on this same show they were talking about motives. Hmm. The only motive that makes sense to ME is money/financial gain. (Yes, I realize there are other motives people are considering.) The simplest explanation is likely the correct one.

All of the above is merely my opinion only.

Keep the white van pic's. Kidding. In MA there are tons of white vans that work for Amazon, along with their grey ones with the name of the side. All out of control that Amazon buying/delivering, it's non stop. IMO

Yes. I'm pretty sure NG wasn't using it to check her emails or stream music!
As another example, my former boss got her young daughter an Apple watch because she didn't want her to have a cell phone just yet, but wanted a way to be able to contact her on a moment's notice.
Apple watches also have safety features like fall alerts. If I'm working in the yard and the watch detects an impact (like when using a pick) followed by little or no movement, it will ask me if I've had a fall. If I don't respond, a number that I have set up will be notified. IIRC emergency services can be notified.

You never know.
One time on my street I saw a strange car where the occupant was calling out to a young boy, playing alone on his driveway, to come over. Kid did. I immediately walked over while taking a pic. Turned out the man was the kid's uncle.

These days you need to stay observant.....

It just donned on me that NG could have been wearing that Apple watch as a tracking device. Meaning, her kids probably purchased it for her. My mom has dementia and I belong to a Reddit Dementia forum. Lots of care givers ask others on the forum for advice on the best tracking devices to keep tabs on their loved ones. The Apple watch is a popular recommendation. I know NG does not have Dementia (or anything even close according to LE), but it's still possible one of her kids purchased it as a safery measure to be able to contact her or for her to use as an emergency alert device. All of this to say that it's really too bad she wasn't wearing it at the time of her disappearance.
I was curious if the watch was connected with a cellular plan?

I doubt in a hurry they would just take a couple pills from each bottle they would just grab bottles. I doubt they took any pills because they already, I can't say it, but either she is no longer with us or they have no intention of giving her back so why keep her alive. The note was to buy more time to live outside of prision or escape the country. People have said maybe the uber driver but they wouldn't know about the watch and importance of it to mention it or was the watch just a rumor I can't keep up it is going so all over the place.

My question was more about if they checked to see if the rest of her prescription was there. Because that in itself tells you that she is deceased in my opinion. The first few days they reported that she needed her medication to live. She has a pacemaker so I imagine it could be heart medication but the type of medication has not been reported.

I'm surprised that the neighborhood's NextDoor doesn't have 20 pictures of the suspicious van from every possible angle. Jmo.

That could be a complete lie - if they are monitoring suspects they aren't going to broadcast it.

Cedars, you are most likely correct.

The term "suspects" is interesting after the poster down-thread wrote about the two young men who were committing crimes connected with crypto.

I have this hare-brained concept that two college students are actually the suspects, for this kidnapping, because

a) this kidnapping scheme seems hare-brained, almost like it would be hatched by people on the "young" side, relying on a familiarity of technology, and, some kind of youthful get-rich quick vibe, ....... in addition to
b) the weird Thursday deadline, and then the Monday deadline. Why? Because: It is almost like they are two college students who have no college classes on Friday, so they want to leave campus on Thursday night, go home, and then return to campus late on Sunday night. It "feels" like whatever cryto-currency they are working with can only be moved around on some powerful, anonymous, university computer center set-up, but then when they go home on the weekends, they don't want their bitcoin activities to be traced on their home computers .....

That strange Thursday/Monday deadline thing........ has me wondering.

Any thoughts?

(MOO).

edited for spelling.

They caught some clown who copied the ransom note loser, but not the big ransom note loser.

I think that you think that the ransom note is a settled issue, but there are two separate senders.
