The FBI released terrifying surveillance video and photos of an armed person in a ski mask tampering with Nancy Guthrie’s home’s security camera the morning she vanished.The images were “recovered from residual data located in backend systems,” FBI director Kash Patel wrote.The release Tuesday was the first time law enforcement had released anything having to do with a possible subject since the 84-year-old vanished 10 days ago – and the first indication that police were zeroing in on any suspects at all after a gruelingly fruitless investigation.

Agree about the holster. I’ve had that type of holster but wore it INSIDE of my waistband. I carried a hammer less .357 and it worked well that way. It’s definitely not typical.

In the pic on the right he doesn't have it, but pic closer to the door he does. Do you know why, where is it in the rt pic?

For me, it is a data point that helps rule out the SIL.

The SIL would have known about the door camera and come prepared for it. It's obvious from the video that the actual perp noticed the camera as he approached the door and then had to freelance a response to it.

I tend to agree at this point.

I believe you can view the video without joining the site. I send links to my husband and he can usually see what I've sent, including videos. If you don't want you IP to show when you go there you could copy/paste the link and go in via an incognito window (Chrome).

A big part of facial recognition is eye shape and the distance between the eyes. If this guy were smart he’d have a full helmet with sun shade or something that hid the eyes.

Same with the mouth. Nice mustache, dude.

Also no attempt to wear a Tyvek suit or to disguise his weight/size and gait.

Don’t come to a 2026 kidnapping in 80’s bank heist gear.

As he tried to obscure the camera using the plant and flowers, he must have rung Nancy Guthrie's doorbell (inadvertently?) many times. When she went to the door, he must have punched her in the face, causingthe blood to be on her porch. Poor Nancy. What has he done to her, and where is she now? How frightened she had to have been.

Once my doorbell was rung multiple times at 4 am. I called the police, turned on the outside lights and locked myself in my bedroom. NG was sharp and I don't think she would have answered the door in the middle of the night.

This was probably the 1:47 a.m. disconnection of the front door camera.

It was supposedly disabled...so probably taking it to be extra careful. IMO

Is that skin showing around eye holes?
Manufacture/brand name of backpack? etc?
Gun manufacturer?
Was the FBI sitting on this image?
