Essentially, if someone does not have a subscription to the service, it’s almost like a livestream being sent to the server: new images override previous images.
However, because this was the last image before the kidnapper disconnected the camera, it’s the last thing that was sent to the server and therefore able to be recovered.
Do you have a link?Swat team has departed the sheriffs dept!
If they release the video and immediately upon releasing the video perform some sort of rescue the timing would seem odd to me...IDK.. I hope though for a miracle and she is found safelyHow often does the Pima County Sheriff's Office use their SWAT trucks? Genuine question - trying to determine if this could be related to NG
Does anyone know if anyone is streaming live footage of the homes/area right now? I know NBC kind of was before, and Brian Entin, but haven't been able to find anything right now. Curious what LE are doing there still, if at all
EDIT: To answer my own question, it looks like JLR Investigates on Youtube is live at NG's house right now (I think it's her house), and there's an active live comment section where people are talking about possibility of the SWAT trucks coming there
To answer your question i post this link;Hi who is sets? Thanks.
Seriously? Neither do I.I don't see anything wrong in asking what kind they were.
My husband has just waltzed in and asked the following questions:
1) Are there signs of forced entry?
2) If this person had a key, all those layers of gloves would impede digging it out of a pocket and using it.
3) Why would an elderly person (he arched his eyebrow at me for this one) open the door in the middle of the night when someone rings the doorbell?
4) If you have a doorbell camera, wouldn't you check it? And if you see such a getup on your doorstep, would you open?
His opinion is that the front door was a distraction and there were 3 people: a driver waiting outside of camera range, someone going around the back of the house, and the person on the porch.
Mind you, he is another old person who has spent the day doing his day job and has just emerged to ask these things before doing our disabled son's pre-dinner routine with him.
Please be patient with us. We mean well.
Someone mentioned many, many pages ago that he may have grabbed the plants so he could get a better grip on the camera. After rewatching the videos (video 1 and video 2), I tend to agree -- it looks like he initially uses his fist to try and push the camera out of the mount but is unsuccessful and then grabs the plants which he places over the camera before gripping it (possibly to slide it out of the mount). MOO.This guy acts as if he has all day wandering around the entryway to the house. Yes holding up a bunch of leaves, etc. to block the camera! Preposterous.
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it turns out this guy is mental.
3) Why would an elderly person (he arched his eyebrow at me for this one) open the door in the middle of the night when someone rings the doorbell?
Those guys and gals sure have their hands full! I’m hopeful it’s for NG but if it isn’t it’s just a reminder that life just doesn’t stop. Crimes happen everyday and I’m sure there’s people out there thinking it may be easier to get away with something because police are so busy dealing with all this. I just want to say thank you to all those in LE/FBI. I can’t imagine the personal strain.
I don't think this is idiotic at all - far from it really. I had the SAME thought - if I lived that close to my mom, I'd have the app on my phone to watch the door. My brother does this for my mom & they live a similar distance apart as AG & NGI will be disappearing in a bit to do the very grown-up, very responsible things a person my age is tasked with but I was wondering, and forgive me if this is an absolutely IDIOTIC question (as I said, we have a different brand of camera):
Doesn't AG, who doesn't live terribly far from NG's house, have alerts for the doorbell?
I know. Very dumb of me. I feel chastised even before posting, but if I lived closed enough to a fragile, elderly relative (ha! I have none...that layer of family is all long-gone!), and this technology was in place, I would want to be able to "check in" if something suspicious pinged?
Before anyone scolds me, or rolls their eyes at my silliness, I come from a different culture and generation and these things come to mind randomly.
I believe I heard they filled it with “supplies”, I think I heard shields? Why are the back doors open?
This is an important point. It was brought up in the live that STS did. It's possible the perp entered the house somewhere else, but wanted to remove NG via the front door (perhaps easier to get her in a car from that location). The perp appears to have scoped out the camera in the photo where he doesn't have his gun/backpack, then came back later to remove the camera (so that he could exit out the front door to a vehicle). If this is the case, the backpack could have been empty when he entered and full when he left. Was the front door unlocked?
