JLR Investigates just said that the LE (unsure what branch) that are going door to door with homeowners are asking "about a body", terrain, vehicles, etc. - like that has been their line of conversation. Not sure how he confirmed that/how accurate it is, so take it with a grain of salt. I believe this is near NG's home but now I'm hearing it's in fact near AG's home*** - it's unclear from the live footage so far. I'm also surprised LE is having these conversations right in front of media, where people can read body language, lips, and possibly hear conversations. Just seems a bit irresponsible IMO

EDIT: I stand by my thoughts of diversionary tactics by LE but who knows at this point

Also, there's a HUGE wild boar by someone's house on the live footage now and it's crazy LOL
this coverage is riveting. I can't get away from my computer.

The flower’s residue on the perp’s gloves would be a neat bit of evidence CSI style if they find a suspect with a matching pair.
Nitrile gloves can be put in very harsh chemicals like acid, and burned. But I doubt Mr. reflective backpack followed through with that.

Moo …
NG may have heard the door cam, and the smashing of the outdoor lights. The bricks were smashed in, had to have shaken the house.

I think NG was aware of the break in. I think she tried to fight back. I think the blood is from injuries she received trying to get away.

The kidnapper may not have expected this and hopefully left some DNA.

Praying for someone to recognize the person!!!

Where did he take her?

Moo…

They have been inundated with calls... this person has been ID'd imo

Am hoping that is where SWAT is going now!
it takes time to sift through leads and follow up. if the swat trucks going out is related to the NG case, then i suspect the coincidence in timing with the release of the videos and pictures is not the result of someone recognizing the person in the video and calling in a tip. more likely either it was a pre-planned combination of actions, or the perp did something in reaction to the release of the videos and pictures. or it's unrelated.

all MOO

I thought a previous post said she had left her hearing aids? Would a doorbell/knock wake her up?
Depends on the nature of her hearing loss. I can't hear the doorbell without mine.

Based on LE's timeline and the broken lantana on the front porch with pieces on top of Nancy's blood I think this was a pretty abrupt kidnap as far as getting in and out especially when considering Nancy had some trouble with mobility.

The front door nest video disconnection was at 1:47 a.m.

Software detects that a figure (a person or animal) is on video at 2:12 a.m.

Nancy's pacemaker app disconnects from her phone at 2:28 a.m.

Per your last point, iiuc it might be more accurate to say her pacemaker was out of range when the app tried connecting. Implication, she was taken some time prior to 2:28.

Yes so if she needs them like you...and didn't have them in then...how did they wake her up/get to her?

He got what he wanted..NG. He had control of the media and attention for 10 days .He didnt get the ransom after the first note... (That might have been when things really went bad) He has evaded capture for 10 days. He will probably off himself before he is captured alive or he might be in Qatar before they can identify him. How much more seasoned do you want? This was someone obsessive who ruminated and plotted this for a long time. Not a Mafia hit..Those are much cleaner..JMO MOO
maybe seasoned isn’t the word. This person struggled to disable the camera. Even resorting to using flowers. Seems very amateur. I don’t associate it with the actions of a professional criminal/cartel etc. Certainly someone thought this crime through though (mask, gloves etc)

watching the FBI GOING door to door near AG home and a giant Javelina goes walking by. This place is surreal.
OT I live in the city and a couple of years ago there was one in the alley behind my house. Drove my dogs nuts. It was there for a couple of days. Then wandered off to find his family.

I think this is a very good question.
We get text alerts for one of our cameras and you know what? We silence our phones at night, lol? Why? The text alerts from the back camera detect a moth as a person even when we unchecked all the settings. After you have a camera system a while, you just get lazy with it. Its hard to be hypervigilant when nothing ever happens. Sad but true.

I know... I am behind on work and need to head to my spin class but it's so hard... I just want NG to be found (alive, and well) and soon. This is all so wild

I’ve just watched the video of the blood outside her home and it got me thinking. It looks sort of like a trail from a nose bleed?
Do you have a link? I would like to see if NG possibly tried to fight back or get away. Thanks

Perhaps he was calculating for his best approachbto disabling the camera. Didn't want to touch it directly so grabbed the plant material to use like pot holder, in case he wasn't able to detach it.

Got it off, took it with him.

Yes & if they did have the camera on their phone but it is middle of night they likely were asleep too, and since it didn't record...

A javelina has joined the FBI and PCSD walking houses in this neighborhood. So to recap today in the Guthrie case: surveillance images, pizza delivery, FBI and PCSD going door to door and a javelina sighting.

That and this person grabbed an entire fistful of plants with their hands when they tried to use them to cover up the Nest cam - even wearing gloves there is likely DNA on those gloves from the person. Or even potential saliva on the plants.

If they didn't already process those plants, would that still possibly be on there?
