My cynical guess is that the release of the photos coincided with the arrival of FBI director
Patel inTucson

again, no. if you look at the tweet on patel's X account where the photos were originally released, he states that the photos were received this morning with a brief explanation of how LE had to go about obtaining those photos.

The angle when grabbing the plant looks feminine in the eye are. I thought that too. Maybe the grooming of the eyebrows adds to this?
The idea of pegging someone's sex by just their eyes is shocking to me. 😐

I was actually speculating that there was no car because of the amount of stuff in the rucksack. Why so full if perp is arriving and leaving in a vehicle?

But it is pure speculation, agree a vehicle could be out of sight.
Change of clothes?

Who all played mahjong that night? Has it been stated? Any neighbors?

JMO.

His trip was pre-planned and had nothing to do with the investigation.

Honestly, there is very rarely any ‘nonsense’ on Websleuths, and if there is, it’s pretty short-lived. That’s one of the great things about the site. Members are incredibly thoughtful. This case has been like nothing we’ve ever seen and it is drawing in a lot of nuttiness, imo.
It's good and bad in some way, people looking at all and every angle, but yeah I noticed the "nonsense" never lasted long. First time being here since this started, I knew of webslueths never really precipitate until now.

Ya'll are awesome, I'm sure something will come from all of this finally.

Midnight when? today? yesterday? Feb 1st?
Probably midnight the night she was taken considering her home cameras picked up movement at 1AM

An on the scene reporter just asked the neighbor what the FBI asked him about. He said that FBI is going around asking neighbors for any footage with a specific time stamp around midnight.
If this is the area around AG’s house, that’s certainly interesting.

Threads moving way too fast to really keep up but I just read in NYT that LE are asking people not to have food deliveries sent to NG's house. Apparently, a Domino pizza delivery person went to the front door with a pizza. Apparently a Youtuber was live streaming in front of the house. WTAF?

As to the mystery person coming up to the front door, he doesn't appear to be familiar with the entry way. He seemed to be cautious walking up to the door, not because he was hiding his face but because he was watching where he was walking. He has a backpack but wasn't prepared to hide the camera with tape since he was using the plant to cover the lens. In some of the images his jacket seems to have a very light coloured pattern on it. His backpack looks very new and appears to have square blocky stuff in it. He's wearing black nitrile gloves which are used a lot by people in food handling and preparation.

Why does it feel like there is a sudden surge of trolls on this thread all of the sudden?
I don’t think it’s trolling. Just misinformation. For instance about the dog and the cat.

As intense as things are right now, sometimes nuttiness creeps in to relieve some stress.

Not sure I understand the question? I said I personally find the timing odd, but that can be reviewed at a later time...just an extrapolation, and that it could be discussed at a later time not now...that's all...
It wasn't a question so much as a statement. I assumed you were attributing Patel with providing the info released today. If that wasn't the case, my apologies.

No wheelchair, and no cat, unless someone can provide a citation. I have seen no mention of either of these things anywhere.

We had what was called a transport chair.

It's lighter weight folds up.

Handy for shopping, festivals, the huge cancer center where's there too much walking for her.

Not unusual to have around cost a bit but worth it.

Imo

A coyote is not gonna drag a 150 pound women far enough that her body isn't found. I would imagine there would have been more blood as well

Are you a troll? They've already explained it can not and is not a COYOTE... RATTLESNAKE etc..... and you persist in these questions.
I asked once.

Change of clothes?

For inside the house?

I don't understand why they would take that inside but maybe I'm being dense.

Surely you change clothes once back in the vehicle, changing them inside risks shedding fibres + skin DNA etc? but JMO. Not an expert.

Active manhunt happening now in Tuscon according to police scanners. Police are also talking to neighbors right next to AG's house.

Take that for what it is.

But we all know what it is.
I wish they would show a photo or give a somewhat detailed description of who they’re looking for, seems like it would be helpful to have the immediate public’s assistance, unless of course they have the person boxed in or in custody already. No idea
