How many times now has this guy been interviewed about this? (Attaching an image from the first one I saw.) It seems fishy he’s just hanging out over there repeatedly, waiting for chances to say it is the SIL who did it. He lives 15 minutes’ drive from there, he said in the first one.

MOO

There was a case in the UK years ago where two girls were sadly murdered, where the Perp was hanging around and giving interviews to mainstream news reporters. His name is Ian Huntley if you want to look him up.

Tucson is sounding quite scary…
Is this related?
TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A man has been arrested on several charges in connection with a homicide in South Tucson late Tuesday, Feb. 10.

The South Tucson Police Department said 26-year-old Leonard Miguel was charged with first-degree murder, robbery, kidnapping, and sexual abuse.

The STPD said the name of the victim, a 60-year-old woman, is being withheld until her family is notified.
wow .. look at the crime map attached for the crime in the area just in 2026 .. this is not a low crime area ... imho

Another interview with Jason here, he had a ‘premonition’ that it is the SIL. This is so suspicious to me.

eh, any reporter can tell you the camera has a weird effect on regular people. they get a little silly and talk out of their rears. the common impulse to embellish or tell tall tales for attention gets worse. my gut says that's all that's going on here.

Yes he did because the disconnection of that camera was at 1:47 a.m. and he was captured at 2:12 a.m.
The sensor obviously captured an event after the disconnection.
Although we don't know how that disconnection occurred via wifi cut / phone app etc.
There were multiple cameras on the property. The doorbell camera was likely physically disconnected as soon as it was removed from the doorway.

LE should have a very good idea about any interactions with Nancy's phone. If it was an iPhone, it tracks pretty much everything the user does.

This video is 9 years old, so some things have changed within iOS, but it gives a good overview of what gets tracked. Timestamped to the section where they discuss lock/unlock states.

Am I right in thinking that Apple Watches only work with iPhones? So since she had the former, it's safe to assume she had the latter, too

Yes, of course! Very good point. She must have an iPhone.

Okay, seriously, I hope they’re investigating this. I know we’re saying big city, coincidence etc. about the Ring footage, which is fair. But this crime seems a little too similar to immediately be dismissed as a coincidence. Targeting a woman much older than him for assault, kidnapping and murder….

And this guy clearly has a vehicle so traveling around the city isn’t an impossibility. I hope they investigate it 🤷🏻‍♀️

25 minutes between the disconnect and the knock? That is an eternity for anyone pulling a job.
I don’t necessarily think there was a knock or ring (on purpose, at least,) and feel that either he or someone else had already entered the house from the back by that point. And if there was an intentional knock or ring, that it was to alert an accomplice inside that they’re ready waiting at the front door, rather than trying to get NG to open the door.

Wow... That is eerie. I hope this has been submitted to the FBI.
Any thoughts on what he dropped? It sounded like it was lightweight. He’s clutching a rectangular object at the top of the jacket but it also looks like there’s something under the jacket. And the way he steps after picking up whatever he dropped. Maybe whatever is under jacket was slipping? Then it appears he was going to ring the doorbell. Could he have just been drunk and at wrong address? I don’t think this is the same person at all from NG’s house. As people here mentioned porch camera guy improvised on the fly whereas this guy is dropping stuff and he potentially carries his burglar stuff with him under a jacket.

Snipped by me - This poster made a very interesting observation. It does look like the man appears to make a fist to possibly knock / bang on Nancy's door before honing in on the camera.
I agree. I observed this also when the video was released.

Last night, 2/12

Prob. not related as mentioned above, but what if . . .
Were they checking for lights that should not be there?

Anyone on here familiar with those mountains? Are there large estates or properties that are either: open in the summer but closed in winter OR have absentee owners? Properties set far back from a road, so no one, particularly an elderly woman with mobility issues, could hike out in winter? Any known locations?

I've long thought NG does not need to be restrained because of her lack of mobility, meaning that her captivity could possibly be more comfortable than that of most people abducted.

She could be placed in a remote location with lots of food, water, and reliable heating, then allowed loose in her "prison."

I had been thinking desert location, but mountain tops in February ahead of a major winter storm make more sense.

The kidnappers would have installed cameras and could communicate with her.

I would think the windows would have been blacked out so no light could be seen at night, but who knows?

Then, she could have been instructed to don a blindfold, be led from the structure to a snowmobile or other transportation and taken to a drop location. Then, when the kidnappers were well away, a msg is sent to TMZ of her location.

Just pondering . . .
Yea I totally agree. I'm sure everyone who thinks the helicopters are completely unrelated will love this LOL but I think night flights actually could make sense - they can look for fires, smoke, lights, etc. that may not be visible during the day. Also I imagine any perps would feel more comfortable moving/traveling/cooking at night as there would be less chance of running into hikers as well.
They could also be completely unrelated searches or training runs, but I think it all is within the realm of possibility. If anything it's probably irresponsible at this point to not search remote canyons, abandoned mines, etc. - for signs of off trail/unauthorized campsites, vehicles, etc.

A pool service company has just arrived at Nancy Guthrie’s home. He just went to the back of the home escorted by two Pima County deputies @abc15

Just saw this but wasn't sure if was a verified source. Interesting indeed... You'd hope upon hope that LE have thoroughly checked out the pool and the filters etc.. though at this point nothing would surprise me!
Edit - fat fingers!

There are cellular-enabled versions of Apple Watches that work stand alone but even those need an iPhone for initial set up. Other features may be less functional without an iPhone as well so it’s probably safe to say she had an iPhone.

Thank you. I hope this gets picked up by a lot of media, because it's wrong to keep accusing people of a crime without having evidence. JMO
I think people who keep talking about SIL are possibly doing it because although LE have said he is not a SUSPECT, he very well could be currently a POI, or even a suspect but they are not willing to disclose that yet. Its happened so many times in other cases, otherwise LE's statement would be accepted at face value and have us all go, oh okay, let's rule him out. We know LE sometimes will indicate one thing to protect the investigation then make an arrest that seems to go against what they've been saying.

I think up until now those who don't think SIL is involved could easily dismiss the activities we have seen at their house - LE following procedure to help rule them out as they were the last to see her.

However this latest information (if true) about LE asking neighbours about AG/SIL and 'a phone' - that's quite cryptic and I can't quite understand the relevance if it is to simply rule them out. Unless of course there is a person connected to them they are looking at, such as one of their neighbours or someone they associate with.

If so, a trip to the interrogation room might cure him of his impulse to insert himself in to a serious crime investigation.

Here’s the Harvey Levin video from a few minutes ago discussing this new video, FBI continued interest in ransom notes, etc.

I kind of love how many of those porch pirate cockroaches are going to get busted now even if they're totally unrelated to NG's disappearance.

  • #26,500
Indeed.

And it looks like whatever made those tracks was weighed down and heavy. I can't stop wondering if the weight was NG's body - likely deceased, IMO.

And maybe something that is dragged rather than simple rolled? Perhaps a large trash bin or large 4-wheel roller suitcase perps brought with them or found in the garage? If such items are missing, that is a detail LE would likely keep close to the vest to protect the investigation. IMO.
