AG isn't proven to be a victim at this time
Which is why at this point I think LE not clearing her is irresponsible and imo and others opinions, it is shaping up imo that she is more likely a victim who along with her husband and likely child now is being subjected to additional insensitive treatment. And I think it is right to point this out. At this point she has not in any way shape or form charged with any crime and the only thing we know is that she is just as much a victim as her siblings and we have zero information to suggest she even so much as said a cross word to her mother, much less anything else. Not one item that has come out points to her or even looks hinky, and given these horrific events and absent any contradictory information I believe she deserves as much grace as her siblings That is jmo.

wow. I am tempted to start a Go fund me to just have it paid, so we can see if this is not a hoax.
The last thing we should want is for the ransom to be paid... Unless we are prepared to deal with an epidemic of celebrity kidnappings.

But i believe sending the 50k is a way to track down this person. Bitcoin can be traced. If he tells the truth they have their perp, if he doesn't he will def withdraw the 50k at some point and expose himself.
Also, 50k is not that much for SG or her friends, fam and employer, etc.
Idk, JMO
Check online re: Bitcoin and ways to make it untraceable

This person is trying to sound like someone that knows more than just the identity of the kidnapper. He could also be bluffing.......

Perhaps, but in my original post, I expressed hope that if they are charged, it would be for more concrete evidence than their disturbing art and what evidence we have now. I posted the poem in response to someone who challenged me to provide proof that she wrote morbid poetry. Also, I am pretty sure this sort of thing would be something noted by investigators.
But what you consider morbid others including my senior citizen self don't see any flags with is the point. And what evidence has come out that points to her in any way?

I get what you’re saying, but at the same time there was a $50k reward and now a $100k reward for information. The feds can and do keep tips anonymous. So why not give them information and get the cash reward? This is just a control trip at the expense of an unsolved, active investigation.

Normally a stalker would stalk the focus of their obsession not the persons 84 yr old mother.
I've thought quite a bit about this. I thought, if it's SG, why not her children? And then I immediately thought - much harder to get to. I'm sure she's very careful with them. Not to say she wasn't as careful with her mother, but as exposed as her mother was to the spotlight, she really ended up being very, very vulnerable (IMO). I know parents will eschew any extra help (pay for cameras, extra security, etc.) but her level of exposure was really quite something. So the end of my thought process was this: NG was the easiest to get to. And if it's someone who is the least bit political (we don't know how much they know about NG), this would be an added bonus. All my conjecture/MOO/etc. and I hope none of my comments are out of line.

ETA: maybe I've watched to many series/movies about those who are obsessed wanting to hurt the person through their family members.

IMO it's time to pay the BITCOIN BANDIT. I am really disappointed this has not been done. It's a race against time. Pay it and see or wait out the DNA, doorbells in the area clues and possibly watch this become a cold case. JMO

I know there is a high probability he is bluffing but idk if i would take that risk if 50k is not that crazy much for me, knowing the person either gives up a name or will be tracked down. JMO

Just because they keep tips anonymous I think you'd still need to give your personal info to the FBI in order to receive a payout. And if you have a criminal history this is a NO GO. Also the FBI doesn't usually pay rewards until the case is settled I believe which can take years.

I hope they just pay this person who may or may not have information because if they actually do, GREAT! and if they don’t.., oh well. Worry about finding and arresting them for extortion later. 😩

Very detailed new ransom: It should be published any minute I'd think so you all know. He sounds very, well literate. He is about knowing WHO did this crime still. Same crypto address as all along. Just in.
Where is this being reported at?

I believe to have read a post by Traci that this case was an exception because LE didn't exclude anyone from the family yet.
I cannot find it because of this overwhelming amount of posts but iirc it said discussing family is ok but not mention names in full, use initials only.
IIRC
I seriously doubt any permission was given to accuse or be critical of family.

It's always ok to discuss what family members have said or what has been printed about them, but not in an accusatory manner.

If @tricia (not Traci) said something like that, I'd like to see it. Use the search function to search this thread for her posts, there won't be that many of them. MOO

When I go to my home, or a few trusted others, my phone connects automatically to the Wi-Fi. Is there a record somewhere of devices that connect to a Wi-Fi network, that would be viewable?

I'm just thinking aloud, but if an accident had happened at the dinner, and it was decided that it needed to be covered up, someone could have driven to the NG's house, opened and closed the garage door to make it seem like she was dropped off, then gone back to finish getting things in order. The person then could have put NG in the car, put her purse, phone, watch, etc., in a backpack and driven it all back to her house. Disabled the camera, taken the personal items inside and arranged them as though NG had done it, then driven NG elsewhere, at which time the pacemaker would have disconnected from the phone.

But if there was a record that her phone connected to her home Wi-Fi around the time the garage door opened, it would support that she was probably actually dropped off at that time, and the person who took her is more likely a stranger.

MOO
I would think police would know this by now, because I doubt she slept in the clothing she wore the night before. They haven’t ruled anyone out, but are keeping a few details close to the vest.

Abduction by stranger is very rare statistically, so in my head it’s so difficult to not consider someone close to the family or someone in the family who did this.
