Something I was trying to post earlier at when the thread was closed is below. It was more relevant to the discussion occurring then than now, but I think it’s still worth keeping in mind.

With regard to the intensity of the local and federal response last night - I would not discount the pressure that may be present because of the involvement of the current administration. To begin there was the Truth Social post by the POTUS, which spoke of “deploying all resources” in this investigation; so it seems possible that many of the costs associated with an operation like we saw last night could be at the federal government’s expense. But beyond that, the POTUS has continued to speak out about this case and comment on progress in it. IMO, things happening behind the scenes (for example, between the POTUS and the FBI Director, and then from the FBI Director to FBI staff) could very well be putting tremendous pressure on involved FBI staff all the way down the line, including (and maybe especially) any decision makers along the way.

All MOO, but I have little doubt that it is having an impact on the way we are seeing this investigation play out.

That would imply that she was monitored inside her home..her movements etc. Since a huge amount of falls happen in the bathroom, that would imply she was viewed even while in the bathtub or shower or?? NO ONE HAS EVER SAiD SHE HAD A LIFE ALERT BUTTON SHE WORE., FOR EXAMPLE. That would be much more practical and far less intrusive than 24/7 cameras in her kitchen. Not buying it. HELL, no one was even paying for her Nest camera doorbell subscription! Now, we are supposed to believe she had cameras all over the house recording her every move? no way. MOO
This is interesting. I do think that installing interior cameras is something that folks do. I know someone who did it and it was suggested by several people that we do it for our elderly mother. However, we thought it was way too intrusive and settled on the around-the-neck life line type thing. It would be interesting to know for an actual fact if she did have those installed. I’d be surprised, as she seemed to appreciate her independence.

Interesting. Thanks for linking. I can’t say I remember hearing Ashleigh Bandielf ever say that and she certainly hasn’t repeated it. I’m wondering if this is bad writing because AB discussed the outside cameras being smashed.

Hmm
I don’t usually watch her but their source appears to be separate from her.

Drug traffickers don’t usually leave their truck open in the middle of the day where an 84-year-old woman can see it.
You are tight!, and I also updated my post to say, they usually shoot the person they want gone, don’t abduct.

Just brainstorming…

I don’t think it has to do with SG, although, I do understand why everyone wonders.

If it was about SG, politically motivated? I think the person usually shoots, not an elaborate
Kidnapping type crime, with disguises.

Think of Charlie Kirk shooting, Tyler Robinson had extreme views, shot Kirk.
In this case, perp would shoot NG, to get back at SG, for a political statement.

I just don’t think it’s about SG, at this time.

I think if it was political or ideological in nature we would have heard a message by now.

I heard that the family has hired their own private investigator. Did anyone else hear or read about this? I know they hired security.

Well, I don't know about all that--woah boy (i think it was more low level wannabes).
But the house was a prime target, and NG was an easy mark with a rich daughter.

All it takes is one worker in a bar mentioning it to his buddy who then tells it to an associate or desperate wannabe gangbanger he knows from the neighborhood.

"Hey I worked on this lady's big house, she lives there alone. No dog. Her daughter is that millionaire TV lady man. Yeah, it's so dark at night and she only has a few cameras, just Nest stuff bro. And the neighbors can't even see her house. We did the roof for 2 hours and no one saw us. Wait, don't tell your crazy Cholo cousin who always comes up with those wannabe gangsta schemes, ok?"
I like all the ideas and I’m not set on anything RN, of course. So bring it!

Plus, if there were internal cameras, the family would have seen something was amiss without having to go to the house.
One would think. But that's also an assumption. After a while you stop checking in, you start ignoring push alerts. The subscription wasn't on the external cams. Why wasn't that paid, probably a lapse or oversight.

We don't know. At this point I am most interested in the inside of the crime scene, the situation with any alarm or other interior security, the supposed signs of forced entry that we are not clear about, and all that.

Right, so what if the perpetrators are giving information that only they know so appears like a valuable tip, but pointing at another house or person - maybe they need to see who the high value tips are coming from.

That was reported and then family made a statement denying that.

Not if the internet was off at Nancy’s home or the camera’s were removed.

I have seen quite a few posts through this thread commenting on Nancy’s personality - she was sharp as a tack, she is a feisty lady, nobody’s fool type comments and what a wonderful, lovely person she is. We don’t actually know what she is like as a person, I just find it a bit odd a whole personality is being made up.
There is a NBC Today Show video of her making Fried Chicken...KY style ...with Savannah 9 years ago. nbc

Agree. I can’t tell you how many of my pharmacy customers are not compliant with their medication. They can go weeks without realizing they’re out of refills. Going without is risky but not the end. Don’t give up hope.
Ty. She may have bigger problems than being without her meds. Not to say it doesn’t create complications later, but I do not believe being without meds will cause her demise as of this date or in the immediate future…. But I do not know all her health issues. If she was an insulin dependent diabetic, I may think differently. Always Hope.🫶🏻

This makes me so sad to imagine them forcing her down that path when every step may have caused her immense pain.
I didn’t see it sad at all.

I see it as: She is a positive person, who wanted to maintain as much independence as possible. It said she “insisted”; she wanted to walk!

Often, inactivity can make pain even worse, so she probably wanted to keep moving as much as she could.

I am not usually a fan of RadarOnline but we’re having to deal with TMZ links as well as that was where 1 of the ransom notes went. And the kidnappers strangely seemed to want it to be celebrity centric by sending it there. That’s another area for exploration.

If you check the link for credibility it ranges from low RadarOnline to high for AOL which this is on anyways.

More importantly there’s additional expert analysis from a former FBI profiler that is interesting to consider and makes some sense.
All I have seen is arguing or discussion about whether cameras were smashed. Not known for a fact since LE isn’t sharing crime scene details from insude the home.

It was reported strategically for purposes of knowing if she has fallen. Not for security but would know if she fell. I wouldn’t necessarily presume bathroom even though that is a high fall place. I do not have 1 in the bathroom for 90yo mother but more aimed at spaces on floor she might fall. Similar to what’s described.
