I AM stuck on there having been two people involved in the invasion of her home and removing her. And that their objective was shared. A revenge motive sounds nuts, to me, but maybe they are both nuts. Seems like someone else would know why they were seeking revenge and tip off LE. (Maybe they have?) JMO

I re thought a few things and decided to come back to say that IMO, I’m noticing a pattern emerging.

Couple of things I’ve noticed.

Regarding both of the raids they involved families. Specifically at least a mother and son. With the son apparently living with the mother. No father is mentioned by MSM in any of these raids.

Both vehicles that were searched or seized in relation to these raids appear to be silver.

Carlos, the one in the first raid has a silver Nissan Rouge. His vehicle was searched but not seized to my knowledge. The second vehicle, the Range Rover. Was seized and also silver. However they both also share another common characteristic of having black rims.

I think they are looking for at least one type of vehicle that is a silver SUV/Crossover type with dark rims. I believe they are also looking for at least a man and a woman (or mother and son) that live together, a family.

Another thing I see mentioned is the clothing of the perp on video. Obviously layered, but beyond the obvious reasons of these layers, I can’t help but wonder if the layers were to also protect the skin of the perp from brush and cacti as the perp
approached her home.

Nancy Guthrie disappearance: Sheriff says no arrests, none remain in custody after major operation

No sign of Nancy Guthrie two weeks after disappearance

Nancy Guthrie: Man detained, released by law enforcement speaks out | FOX 10 Phoenix

I’ve included links and a few photos. The first is the Range Rover, Nissan rouge, and an arial of NG house that shows much better her relation to some of her neighbors and the surrounding landscape. The photo of her home also shows at least what appears to be one sliding glass door.

Yeah, interesting observation that both vehicles are silver. If the people from the other night end up not being involved, I do at least hope they end up giving us an official indication of the vehicle.

Footage of the perp + knowing he was in a silver vehicle would be much more helpful for gleaning tips.

The retired FBI (look at one of my earlier posts today for the link) guy also made this link between mother and son.

Thanks @warp3dwing! I’m not tech savvy but I wanted to share how important Wi-Fi is for cellphones when you live in a hilly western area. You’re right about Bluetooth working just fine.
Of course! It’s the internet connection that’s what’s important. Wi-Fi is just the means of connecting a device to the router, which then connects the phone to the internet, which allows you to use VOIP when cell service is absent.

If the internet connnection went down, your phone would still connect to the router via Wi-Fi, but it wouldn’t be able to connect to the internet or make calls using VOIP. If the power went out, the router would shut down, and your phone wouldn’t have a Wi-Fi channel to connect to.

Maybe he/they thought cutting phone (WiFi) lines would have disabled them? It's hard to guess because it doesn't appear to be a criminal mastermind(s) at work here.

JMO
BBM Yes my thoughts as well. He thought cutting off something else would result in the automatic shut off of the cameras. Or perhaps someone else told him the cameras would be non operational.

I've been following on here since day 1 but this is my first post in the thread. From the beginning, I felt like this is someone tangentially connected to NG, either a friend or acquaintance of a family member or a regular service person who comes to the house (or a friend/acquaintance of them).

One other possibility I just got to thinking about - I wonder if NG uses things like Door Dash/Uber Eats or a grocery delivery service. If her mobility is limited, it would make sense that she does (please note I am NOT stating she definitely does use them, just positing that she MIGHT). I'm sure this is something LE could find out and for all we know, maybe they are exploring this path.

The reason I wonder about this is that knowing her mobility isn't great, I wonder if she requests that the delivery person bring her food/groceries inside her home. Now I do think the "official" policy of these companies is that the delivery people do not go inside. HOWEVER, I personally in my real life know 3 different Door Dash drivers who say they DO sometimes bring food inside depending on the circumstances. If the orderer requests this due to old age/limited mobility, disability, or illness and they feel comfortable with the situation, they will do this out of kindness. Now they all 3 said there are circumstances where they don't feel comfortable doing so and will decline. So even if it isn't official policy, there is real life evidence some drivers still will bring food inside.

It wouldn't even have to be a regular or repeated driver. All it would take is one food or grocery delivery person to come to her house, go inside upon her request and see Hmmm. This is a fairly secluded house/not easy viewable from the street. This woman is very nice, seems well-off, lives here alone, does not get around well, etc. And either they or someone they know then decide to come back to rob her and something goes off the rails.

Again, all supposition on my part. My opinion only. Just thinking through some other scenarios here.
would the delivery person go to the front door? I am thinking she would have food delivered at the front door. Also the article I posted yesterday....WITH A LINK...said one of her friends had a day I believe of her birthday or the day before had dropped of some crystals and stuff....the article read to me like she dropped them off versus actually visiting with Nancy....so would those have been dropped off at the front door

What I am leaning to is maybe perhaps the front door was not even locked...maybe the security door and front door were left unlocked perhaps while doing mundane things like picking up something a friend dropped off

I have on numerous occassions left both my storm door and front door unlocked after getting packages, etc

also, there was a AMAZON package delivered to the front door so it looks like she used that door

A car dealer would put the dealer plate on a vehicle when a customer is test driving a vehicle before purchase.

When a vehicle is purchased at a car dealership by a customer, the vehicle driven off the lot would have a temporary plate.

However if a vehicle trade in is involved with the vehicle purchase, some states allow the owner to transfer the license plate from their old vehicle to their new purchased vehicle.
It depends on the status of the car being test driven and the state I think. Not all states follow the same rules for car tags.

If it was already registered, even in another state, and has license plate assigned/on it, then that hard plate stays on the car until it is sold to new individual from my experience in TX.
New cars delivered to dealerships are assigned dealer paper plates. (And in several dealerships we have shopped at, those ID plates can be on the interior front dash or inside back windshield so they are not damaged in bad weather.)
Then when they are sold, cars are given temporary paper plates good for like 30-45 days depending on how long it takes for the state agency to change the registration and issue a new license plate tied to the new owner.
That is my personal experience buying cars, new and used or from dealer to dealer transfers. So JMO.

I am still trying to understand the ownership trail of this RR.
Perhaps some of you can provide clarity.
Is there any approved site that can offer legitimate info regarding that information?

Was it a NEW car, not owned by anyone before it got to the dealership?
Was it a pre-owned car sold or traded to the Tucson dealership prior to NG’s abduction?
(I self edited because I was afraid I put in unapproved info w/o source).

The camera the FBI agent appeared to have removed from the guest house looks to have had wires that she disconnected before she removed it.
are you referring to the camera I read was on the ROOF of NG’s house that LE removed after the initial search of her house? Does NG’s house have a GUEST HOUSE on the lot? I didn’t know that if so

after listening to BE show from 2/14 I am not so sure this was the wild goose chase for the swat raids on 2/13 as some of us may think. Stay tuned.
Agreed..they are watching and waiting.

January 11 seems to be an important date to the sheriff and investigators. Has anyone read anything regarding activities in the area on Jan 11. Could Nancy have been at an event and followed home after someone heard she had a famous daughter. I am not good at searching for articles, etc. They are stuck on the Jan 11 date for some reaason

I know it was a Sunday. Which would probably mean in the morning watching Good Shepherd's streaming Church Service with a group of her friends at a friend's home.

To execute a federal search or arrest warrant agents must present a sworn affidavit to a federal magistrate judge demonstrating probable cause. They must show specific articulable facts (not hunches, not speculation) that evidence of a crime will be found at a particular location OR that a specific person has committed a federal offense. I assure you they were not randomly storming peoples homes and picking up "suspicious" people. The process involves multiple levels of review. JMHO
Thank you! People need to let LE process any info/potential evidence they have gathered. There are a lot of circumstantial things pointing in a certain direction right now.

She likely used the front door when the Uber driver pulled up to take her to AG's jmo

This is assuming she’s standing with her nose to the door as it opens.

Most scenarios are: Open the door while still in the vehicle and still chatting, saying your farewells. NG being physically limited may need assistance getting out of the vehicle and to the door.

I would also expect MY HUSBAND to walk my mother all the way into the house. Help her get lights on, etc. Not just dump her off at the door to her own devices.
Can a vehicle enter the garage, or is it full?

Was it ever reported that the SIL dropped her off at the garage door? Perhaps he drove into the garage, shortening the distance to the door even further.

We’re missing key pattern of life info about typical door opening intervals and whether it’s typical for family to enter the home to get Nancy settled.

If it’s typical for Nancy to be escorted to the door and left to her own devices, I wouldn’t see the 2-minute interval as anomalous.

If it’s typical for family to go inside and ensure Nancy is settled or whatever, then it would be anomalous. But we’d also have to know the pattern for the SIL specifically, if it’s not something Nancy asks for directly.

And most home cams are b/w vs color so it would be VERY difficult IMO to tell difference between a “gray” car and a SILVER car—
The black rims on both vehicles is a great detail however and something that would be the same on any camera I would think.

Is it correct that AZ (like FL) does not require a front plate on vehicles?

I think three people are involved physically, two went inside the house and another was the driver. IMO

Yes, it is correct.
