There are cases where a person can continue to bleed for a short time after death;Yes, her heart would need to be beating for her to be bleeding and dripping blood. You are correct.
"Immediately after death, the blood is "unfixed" and will move to other body parts if the body's position is changed. After a few hours, the pooled blood becomes "fixed" and will not move."
So if she was put over Perps shoulder to take her out of the home and she had some trauma where blood was pooling (even no trauma as it naturally starts the pooling process with circulation gone) it might account for the blood on the porch (facing down or lowest point of her body gravity).
