Very big, if true. I’m wondering if the RR has been connected to a burglary ring and this is why they think the purpose was burglary. Maybe if it’s a ring, the RR would drop off someone to do the break-in then circle around to pick them up.
I’m still on the fence on whether this is burglary gone wrong or kidnapping.

There is a pic of it somewhere way back, but I don't know where to look for it. jmo I remember the name Debra on it.

Here's the post about the card fwiw

Interesting. That's an APS card-adult protective services card. All CPS/DPS cards look like that here. Very interesting

Is it just me or does anyone else think it is strange that elder services was on site...had to have seen the blood on the porch, but didn't call anyone to investigate? Just seems so bizarre to me. Why was this person there? Did someone call because they thought NG was being abused in some way, whether that was physically, mentally or financially? Did NG call them herself?

What bothers me is....they don't just show up there out of the blue sky one day because they felt an elderly person lived there. What brought this person there? Why didn't they notify authorities that there was blood on the front entryway.
Refresh my memory, Elder Services showed up before law enforcement got involved and declared her a missing person?

I just listened to Brian Entin's latest YouTube video. I knew the police were working non-stop on this, and kudos to them. But it sounds like there are issues due to retaliation and a lot of people leaving (around 46:00). I really hope that Sergeant Cross doesn't get too much flack for doing this interview. I really hope the FBI can take over the case officially and publicly. (Edited to rephrase.)

Thanks. Another great insider look at the dept. Well spoken and level take by the Sgt.

96 detectives and 45 are Det.1s. Most experience inside the unit 3 years of homicide.
195 deputies on patrol. Of that 101 on probation (less than a year).

He also says he feels the rift with the FBI does come from 2016 when Nanos was investigated by the feds. And he think that investigation caused a lot of the "icy relationship we see today" and he says he thinks Nanos is using this case as a way to show up the FBI.

I’m bothered by it. When LE released the short duration of her garage door going up/down my stomach dropped. We know hours later she’s abducted from her home. So, yeah, this stands out to me.

NG is described as having mobility issues and "couldn't walk 50 yards by herself" being dropped off and making sure she’s safely in the house seems like it would take longer. I imagine she would require some stabilization to get out of the vehicle, let alone inside. The short window might suggest she got minimal assistance. Maybe she didn't need it. But, did she really make it from the car, through the garage, and into her home that quickly, garage door up and down, drive away, and it was Good Night Nancy? To *me* it appears like a hasty departure of the driver.

Maybe the garage door didn’t open until she was already out of the car and walking. This is assuming the driver didn’t pull into her garage for her to get out. Don’t know…

From an article: or even two days before her disappearance, when she insisted on walking to the end of her gravel driveway to get the mail, even if a friend had to help.

Nancy Guthrie’s Friends Refuse to Give Up Hope She’s Alive

She was dropped off by family members at her ranch-style home just outside Tucson, in the Catalina Foothills, just before 10 p.m. that night.

"We know that because we have the garage door open at approximately 9:48 p.m.," Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos previously said. "At 9:50 p.m., that garage door closes."

I’m quite late to the thread so apologies if this has all been covered previously.

Do we know who opened the garage door when she got home that night ?
Do we know how it was opened ? (by a remote or was it done by phone )
Do we only have family’s word for the fact that NG went inside at this time ? And that she went through the garage door ?
( surely Police will have checked tracking data in the vehicle’s computer system )
Are there no cameras around the garage area ?
Is it possible that the offender/s were already inside ?
Has it been said there were signs inside of a struggle ?
I understand all the stuff / vision re dodgy people covering cameras etc around 2am but could that be a decoy ?

Thank you.

Just to clear the property tax situation for AG. 2025 taxes are due 1/2 on Nov 2025 and 1/2 May 2026. First half was PAID, second half --- not yet due. Read the public record due dates.

No it is not. It is an incorrect framing of an absolute. Qualifying an absolute for emphasis doesn't change that. Being almost certain is being not certain, just as a light switch being almost on means it is off, and something being near perfect means it is not perfect.

And I certainly can't tell what to make of your responses, but by all means do carry on. :)

To attempt to salvage your reply to me as germane to the discussion (there are rules here, too) and not merely a personal attack towards me using a pedantic straw man, I would like your thoughts on this:

If a lab technician testifies that a DNA profile from this suspect almost matches his relative's DNA, then a jury should impugn the technician's testimony if the defense's rebuttal appeals to the grammatical principle of absolutes. It either matches or doesn't match, correct?

JMO.

Yes! IMO, there has been "something" that has led LE to induce SG to make this video. Some clandestine contact? Some maybe old cryptic post on Instagram., recently found? Some new communication saying he has NG and is willing to barter...something... I also thought SG looked more distraught. Weakened, almost like she was suffering from the guilt of the weight of all of this because, no matter what, she, herself, might blame her fame as a direct cause of the kidnaping of her mom. JMO

I noticed how swollen SG eyes were. She is living a nightmare and she isn’t getting enough sleep. She often said that her mother was her best friend, she is grieving over both. This is so heartbreaking.

A subtle point some are making here is that burglary crews and making bodies disappear crews operate in the same space.

Here's the post about the card fwiw

I was able to go back to some of the first news stories about this case...

I found a KOLD clip that shows the card was NOT there on the 3rd.

IIRC the original dispatch from the 911 call mentioned elder services ... I always assumed the card was left from whoever responded to that aspect of the dispatch ... Not sure why they would be called in the first place, but my best guess was it would be automatic when the missing person is that elderly

Money or Attention/Fame are really the only 2. And revenge.
There is possibly a third reason. It happened to me. Mrs. Guthrie may have provided aid or comfort to someone in need and that individual became obsessed with her. I worked in a congressional office in the district. A man came to the office seeking help with his federal retirement. At first blush he appeared reasonable and calm. That changed quickly. I offered him some candy and a glass of water while waiting on the phone with the federal office. Thereafter, he started coming to the office day after day, leaving up to 15 messages on the answering machine at night, peering in the window at me at night, etc. I’m ashamed to admit I didn’t give it much thought until he followed my coworker home and asked if I lived there. The police picked him up, a hearing was held and he was committed to the state mental facility because he posed a very real threat. Ultimately it all came down to “but, she gave me the sweets.”

1. No
2. No
3. Yes
4. Don't know
5. Possible
6. Not confirmed by Sheriff but the way he spoke (imo) alluded to evidence something happened inside
7. Just about anything is possible... no rule book for this one!

I'm not sure when this person was there. If they showed up afterwards, why was the crime scene released so quickly?

Is it possible that someone saw NG leave, via the front door, and presumed she was going to be out all night. As she entered by the garage, and fairly quickly - could someone watching have been in the wrong place to see this, so effectively were surprised that anyone was home? JMO and probably far fetched, but perhaps on other occasions NG had stayed at AGs house.
